I found out I had to move across country 2 days before Thanksgiving! Watching them pack my stuff for transport to the warehouse was a thing of beauty. And they were just nice guys on top of it all. I had to store my stuff for a fuzzy amount of time because of problems nailing down a move-in date in Seattle. It was not a problem, even though it was the holiday. My move in date got moved up so they had to trigger my move a week or two early, and they timed it perfectly to the day! I could not move in until a Saturday, they had my stuff in Seattle by the first Monday after I was allowed in my apartment!! (They did this perfect timing miracle starting my shipment the Friday before Christmas and seeing it go across country during the New Years holiday!! They kept me in the loop. They were clear about the storage charges and even gave me a courtesy call before charging my card, even though I knew it was coming. I had gone in on Friday to pick up my husbands dry cleaning as he is leaving early Monday morning for a week long business trip. Steve, who always greets me by name, said it would be ready after 5:00pm and to come back. Well, the weekend started and all the obligations that come with it were underway. It wasn't until 2:00am Saturday night/Sunday morning that I woke up and had a full on panic attack realizing I never picked up my husbands cleaning. Plus, Custom Cleaners is closed on Sundays. ‍ I needed to get in touch with Steve, so I used every means to do so. I sent messages to him through google, instagram, Facebook, and email. At 7:00am that Sunday morning I got a text from Steve saying he will get me my dry cleaning. Steve went out of his way, on his day off, taking time from family to get me my dry cleaning. We have been a Village family since we moved to the area five years ago. The Village has always…read moreoffered a great program for all ages. We had some challenges and concerns when the center was sold a to a larger company, but the current center director is phenomenal and brings the whole center to the level of care, fun, and education that I have expected from them over the years. Several of the teachers have been there as long as we have (or longer!) and all of them are creative, caring, and make the center a wonderful experience that my daughter loves going to each day. They have begun clearing and creating nature trails behind the building which gives them more and more opportunities to incorporate nature into the daily experience. I highly recommend the Village Learning Center to anyone looking for a quality, comprehensive daycare and preschool for their children.
