Brought in an Amazon return. The return kiosk wasn't working. The owner (Mamta Patel) is never friendly but today was the last straw! Return was in a shipping box. I used these boxes for the last 20 years for shipping. First she refused the box. She stated return must be in a box. I replied it is a box. She stated it must be sealed. I said the label will seal it shut. The post office always accepts this box with label sealing it shut. Just give me the label and I'll seal it shut. Her response was: No, I will do it just this one time. Her tone and inflection was angry, defensive and demeaning. She knew she was in the wrong. It's always a hassle when we use her store. Literally the worst business I've ever visited. Aside from the fact the staff is unhelpful, this store charges for everything. I brought a return item to ship, with the shipping label. They don't have sleeves to attach and charge $3.00 to tape it on the box for you. Ridiculous. Never coming back here. TODAY is December 16. Fairly predictable that it will be a busy shipping day. UPS has exactly one customer service person working. He is doing the best he can but the line is literally out the door. Service couldn't be worse. I literally skipped USPS because I thought UPS would be better. LOL Ps took me 40 minutes from arriving to leaving. Anyway she ignored me and when a customer behind me came in she looked right past me and told the customer that just arrived she could help them. Hands down the very best customer service I have ever experienced---anywhere. I came in with a highly unusual request: shipping a live plant cross-country. The plant, a gardenia, was cherished by my mother, who had passed away, and I was selling the house and couldn't bear to leave the plant behind, donate or toss. Store staff were thoughtful, positive and determined to figure out how best to ship the plant to keep it alive and in one piece. The team spent over two hours meticulously wrapping, padding and building a custom fit box to suit the dimensions of the gardenia and ensure that no damage was incurred during overnight shipping. I can't say enough good things about the remarkable customer care I received. Truly speaks to the power of creative problem solving, attention to detail and exceptional service to take a transaction from ordinary to extraordinary and keep a customer for life. I love that I can make Amazon returns and ship things close to home instead of traveling all the way up Rt 1. I do find they can be very busy at times but they seem to try and move customers along as quick as possible. I have also found it helpful to screen shot my Amazon return codes beforehand, since cell service inside the store can be spotty. read more

Owner is mean and unfriendly. She will not take any boxes unless it is brown. Trying to make everyone buy her boxes. Wouldn't even allow customers to pack a box inside the store. I spoke with UPS 800 number and they said they don't have a rule such as a mandate to send out the package in a brown box. read more

I have used this location often for Amazon and other returns. I've never been very impressed, but it was a UPS store. It serves a purpose, and I just kind of expect long lines and meh customer service. But today's experience really turned me off the place. I went in to return an Amazon package. It needed a box, which I had. But when I reached the counter, I was informed it needed to be sealed. Now, I can see tape behind the counter, but the employee said I would need to go home and get tape. I did not react well. I bought a roll, finished my return, picked up an unrelated print order and told her I would never use the place again. I needed 1 foot of tape, and ended up having to buy a $5 roll or drive 15 min round trip. That is ridiculously customer service. I will use Fedex, USPS, Whole Foods or any other UPS store going forward. read more

This is the worst location. j have been here on numerous occasions when they are "open" and the store is closed and locked. There's no notice of updates hours - it's just closed. I watched the customer service person try and sell unneeded services to the customers in front of me. Twenty minutes later the line was out the door and my turn. I just needed a letter envelope to complete my UPS shipment. My item I have shipped many time by letter and the person was telling me that it couldn't so she could sell me something else. DO NOT EVER SHIP YOUR VALUABLE PACKAGES FROM THIS LOCATION. THIS IS THE WORST UPS STORE IN THE SYSTEM. The owners are incompetent, they overcharge and will lose your package. They are unhelpful with the claims process and give you the runaround. They don't care about the customer only about the exorbitant fees they charge. They lost my valuable package under insured it on purpose so as to not make the proper claim. Do not ever use this store.The help they employ know next to nothing about the process. I went in to return an item I had ordered from Amazon. I didn't fully read the return instructions and did not come prepared with my printed return label or anything else. The employees at this site were extremely patient and helpful. They were able to help me while juggling a rush of other customers. I went to retrieve a UPS shipment that was marked delivered to this store. I went to the store 2X and called 3X. They lost the package and now are putting the responsibility on me to file the claim. She also told me that she didn't know whether the address I got from the Pennsylvania department of transportation was correct for UPS or if it should be written differently and when I questioned that she totally lost her temper and said that she wasn't going to send my package because she didn't like the way I was unhappy with what she was doing ....what I was unhappy about was the fact she didn't seem to know what she was doing and that she was rude and angry about it ....she obviously hates being there and lets everyone know it....and even more shocking were her customer conversations on the phone which we overheard twice and were incredibly nasty .... I couldn't believe that someone in business would speak to anyone the way she did on the phone ....I really think she has something wrong with her. I was there for 20 minutes and there were two telephone conversations and six people in line and I did not see her smile once and one woman that she made go out to the car to get money from her coin box was practically in tears I have never or at least it's been a very long time since I've seen anyone so incompetent so rude so angry who is trying to run a business ....I can't wait to see them close doors UPS should be looking at them very closely because from now on FedEx and the post office are for me if I can't get to Princeton or a Staples With all the bad reviews this store has I would think that UPS franchise division would be looking at them and thinking very closely about replacing this location because they are doing UPS no favors read more

I just moved to Pennington, NJ and had to go to the UPS store to return a lot of old cable boxes and Amazon returns. I was attended to by Manta (apologies if I have misspelled her name). She was extremely helpful, knowledgeable and friendly. Most stores I have gone to where a customer has multiple items or a line is forming, the employees seem to get frustrated. Not here, the assistance was wonderful and extremely pleasant. I will 100% frequent this location! read more

Price gouging, pure and simple. Needed to print a shipping label for a return that needed to be shipped out. 1 page of paper cost nearly $5.00 due to "computer time" which consisted of the staff member checking email and printing a document - maybe 30 seconds of effort. Staples, CVS, etc. by comparison charge about 20 cents. Since there's no other stores within a 10-15 minute drive, they can get away with charging these outlandish prices but I'm very disappointed and will avoid returning if at all possible. UPS corporate would do well to step in. read more

These guys have been great. Dropping off and shipping packages has been a cinch. I understand how busy they can get ( it's an incredibly convenient location) and try to go during off hours. The staff has always been helpful, professional and friendly. I would absolutely recommend the store to anyone needing to ship something. The woman in the store upsells everything. My package required a signature so she said I should ship next day air so someone wouldn't have to wait around all day to sign for the package. So I did. The package did not arrive until the evening hours. When I called UPS to get a refund, they told me that since Covid there are no guaranteed delivery times and she should not have told me there would be one. read more
