I have had a PO box with this store for over 5 years, I found out that my box was cancelled because the USPS wanted a verification filled out. They claim they sent e-mails, telephoned me and mailed notice but I received none of them and because I was not in the PC area for months all my business mail was returned to sender. When I explained this the manager said they sent notice, when I asked when he could not give me a date. I only found out because my renewed credit card was returned to my bank. I had the box address on my stationary and cards and when I asked if the same box was still available for rent I was told no. So now I have to reprint stationary and cards. Terrible customer service! Asked for a receipt and was repeatedly told no because they want to save paper I could trust them. How about an email Receipt? I was told that it was no different then dropping a letter in a remote box. If I wanted to put a letter in a box then that's what I would've done instead of going to this UPS Store and get the treatment of a box. I've been going to two other UPS stores in Salt Lake City. Super helpful, well-stocked, knowledgeable- I was facing a deadline to return a faulty Amazon product, on the way to the airport, and these responsive folks helped me get it done quickly. The customer in front of me was shipping something pricey, and they took good care of it, imparting knowledge based on their experience of shipping so much of people's stuff! My printer was being cranky, so I wasn't able to print the label before getting to the UPS Store= they gave me their email address to email it to them, printed it out and taped the box closed for me. The usual fee for printing the Return label is apparently $3 (which seems a little pricey), but these nice folks waived that $3 for me and sent me on my way to the airport, annoying task done, and made much less annoying because these nice people were friendly & professional! This particular UPS store has always been friendly and helpful. In fact, I make it a point to go to this location because of their helpfulness. I've used their copying services and dropping off packages. I always tape my packages ahead of time. It's not unusual for a shipping place to charge you if they have to tape your package up for you. I definitely understand that because the tape isn't cheap and they'd lose money if they gave away tape to everyone. I think people just need to act more responsibly and quit expecting freebies. When I've asked for a receipt, they've never refused. If it's a package other than an Amazon return, I've always been given one anyway. With Amazon, you get an automatic email for the package. read more

It seems like I'm in this store on a weekly basis for business. I don't keep a PO Box with them and can't speak to that part of their services. I do a lot of black and white printing and the machines are solid and the prices are excellent. I also ship from here a lot and appreciate how helpful the entire staff is. I recently sent a package to a friend and UPS lost the package. The store called me immediately to compensate me. In the process, the package was located and returned. Since they are an affiliate of UPS, there was going to be a new charge to re-ship the package. Their staff stepped up and made sure that I didn't get charged again. I was frustrated that the UPS driver lost it in the first place, but love that UPS store went above and beyond to make it right for me. I'll keep going here as long as they continue to provide great customer service! read more

The only way I'm getting my money back is to dispute it with Wells Fargo. Which I am going to do and I'm going to win. Stay away from this god awful place. October 30 afternoon I had awful service experience at this location. I needed a scan of a 2X2 ID picture and get it emailed to me. I was charged $5 (!!!) for this. What did I receive in email? A not-cropped picture on the letter size scan somewhere in the middle, tilted, grainy and with marks on it (because they didn't even mind cleaning the dust particles off the scanning glass). When I was like "this is not okay for an ID picture scan, I need it redone, please" the attitude of the staff became almost hostile. But I was most appalled when the woman at the counter , whose name was Jennifer , I believe, asked her colleague scornfully "should I charge him again for that?". I didn't say anything, but in my head I thought "no way you charge me for this crappy job one more time". Second scan emailed, I open it. The only difference is that now they guessed to put the picture in the corner so it'd be easier to crop. Still grainy and with dust marks on it. I asked if the picture could be cropped for me so it could just be submitted right away. The man at the counter told me "I'll have to photoshop it and it's going to take a while and it's going to be an additional charge". Excuse me, WHAT?! First thing, one could easily crop it in Paint and it wouldn't take more than 20 seconds. When I said that, the guy replied something like "I don't do that too often, so I'll have to use photoshop and it's going to take a while!". Secondly, if you couldn't even properly SCAN the picture, how can I be sure you'll be able to do something "complicated" like cropping it in Photoshop? That part I didn't say, of course. I just walked out, texted American Express and got immediately refunded for this crappy experience. Dear business owner, If you provide services like scanning would you kindly make sure that you hire people who are SOMEWHAT familiar with how GOOD scans should be made? It would be even better if while training (if you train your staff at all) you'd let them know, that Photoshop is not the only thing out there to crop pictures. Because if you keep hiring people for whom these tasks are SO hard to accomplish... I'm pretty sure you are going to lose a lot of your clientele. Me and my family you definitely lost... read more

I used this store since it opened in 1998 for all my shipping needs. For over 20 years I have had nothing but excellent service and have never had a single issue when shipping packages. Nothing was ever broken, lost, late, or shipped to an incorrect address. Since the Covid pandemic started, I have been in several times. Each time they have been following all safety rules and more. They are always wearing masks, implement social distancing between customers and themselves, and are scrupulous about cleaning and sanitizing. I've noticed remarks about them charging for tape, etc. Don't let the big company name fool you -these are local small business owners. Think about all the tape people would have used over 22 years - it adds up and makes a dent into a small business bottom line. I highly recommend their services! read more

DO NOT USE THIS UPS STORE!!! I brought 3 boxes with return ups tracking numbers into this store today. There was no one in the store except an associate wearing a cowboy hat. He neither offered to help me carry the boxes nor open the door for me when I brought in my heavy boxes (on multiple trips to and from my car.) Then he proceeded to tell me that the boxes could not be dropped off and had to be picked up at my house. I called UPS and they told me that in no uncertain terms this associate gave me incorrect information and that I could drop them off at any UPS store and they must be accepted. Upon leaving the store with my heavy boxes, I told him I was going to ding him on yelp because of this horrible customer service. He proceeded to videotape me and circle my car making me very very frightened. I called and complained to UPS HQs 1-800-789-4623 about him. The girl with the beanie and purple hair would prefer to sit there on her phone and take pictures of her co-workers then be of any help to a customer. My location says San Diego, but I now live mostly full time in Park City, Utah. The guy who owns these two UPS stores in Park City figures he has our undivided attention up here (and he's probably right). I had important legal documents come in from LA that needed a signature . . . yeah, the UPS driver is a ghost who slips in and leaves a door tag, and it's shipped back to Salt Lake. So going forward, I wanted to have it held at the UPS store. Lately, an urgent package came in . . . and sat there for 3 days, I had to go in and ask for it. Then they wanted to charge me $10 for receiving it. A UPS Store, charging $10 to receive a UPS package, because the UPS driver expects me to take the day off just so I can be at my house to sign, and a business owner (it's a franchise) greasing UPS customers for $10 to hold UPS packages. Pretty sleazy. Worse, the employees cop an attitude. Instead of 'hey, how about signing up for a box?' it's 'we're doing you a favor, $10 please for the privilege.' Going forward, if someone insists upon using UPS, i'll have it held in Salt Lake, or better yet, the FedEx store in Park City doesn't charge to hold packages, and they are grateful for the business. I've managed to convince most of my vendors to now use FedEx. I suggest you do the same. read more

wow! very pleasantly surprised by this place at first. yes, the post office next door may be cheaper, but you get what you pay for. what i got here was very fast, very friendly service, expert packing and followup service i didnt expect. they packed a very expensive painting for me, even let me watch how they did it. upon shipping it, i was emailed my tracking number for easy-as-pie tracking, and, get this, they called the gallery the day of delivery to confirmed it had gotten there in good condition and called me to let me know it had...amazing! since then, i have done all my business there, and today, i opened a mailbox there and now make the store my base of operations. they have even started doing all my business cards, flyers and posters.. i just love this store! oh, and they have another great store in town, where all the service is as top notch as my home store, this one is just down the street from my home so its more convenient for me. thanks to the staffs at both ups stores in park city for makiing my life so much easier! -mike h. read more
