I'd give this location zero stars if possible. The rude employee actually told me the only way to send an envelope via UPS is to go online, create an account, then create, pay for and print a shipping label and then bring it back to be shipped. I have never heard of this before. I actually sent forms via a different UPS store to the same government office, with a prepaid return envelope in it, with no issues at all less than a week earlier. So why would this be impossible at this location? I ended up having to leave and locate a different UPS store to get this done. Complete waste of time. Line out the door. I waited around to hear what he was telling others and he turned away the next 5 people for various different reasons- only helping the police officer to complete a shipment. read more

Needed to shred some personal papers. Their service was walk-in and a competitive rate per pound. I should have brought papers in paper bags instead of cardboard box, since the box was weighed, but not shredded. I could have saved more, but that's on me. read more

I called in the morning about printing a small poster that I needed EOD. I was quoted a price and came in with the image file. At the register, the cashier stated a much lower price for the same size I had discussed, but when the cashier came back, the price went back up quite a bit. I wasn't told why I was being charged so much more and I didn't ask for a rush job. I was told the poster would be done in a couple minutes, so I waited. Then I was told it would take 'an hour and a half'. That was still ok, but when I came back, I was told their machines were busted and could print nothing. My window for getting what I needed that day was OVER. But if they had told me the truth when I was in the shop, that their printer was not working, I could have gone elsewhere. To me this is shockingly greedy and selfish. Then, when I go pick up the nonexistent poster, the guy makes a big deal about fully refunding my $ - o gee thanks for refunding my money, giving me nothing, and basically lying to me. read more

It wouldn't be fair to evaluate this shop on the basis of UPS delivery quality, I'm pretty sure this is the one link in the UPS chain that does not involve stepping on my packages with heavy boots. Quite the contrary, I've found the workers here to be helpful and friendly, though at times somewhat overwhelmed as this is a busy location. They have been most helpful to me when returning Amazon deliveries, there's a computer here one can use to print labels. This is also one of the last places to find a notary public, the hours are good, and the parking is easy. When I can't use USPS I like this place. read more

The driver just threw my package in the snow feet from the street. It is snowing heavily and my driveway is snow-covered. Why didn't the driver just take the package back and deliver it after the snow has stopped? I've tried to call UPS and they just put you into a circle and never answer or let you speak with a person. This store has incompetent, poorly trained and rude staff; I would most definitely not recommend coming here, especially if you need to ship something valuable. As with all franchises, certain locations are better than others; this is a 0/10 location. Honestly, find any other place to ship your packages. I tried to ship a package containing essential items to my brother at an Air Force base, and the staff messed up the tracking number on the same package twice (fool me once, shame on you - fool me TWICE, shame on me! will never be returning!), the package was lost, and the staff didn't bother to apologize or acknowledge any mistake was made. Please learn from my mistake, and do not come here! read more

I am super glad I used this UPS store to send several large heavy boxes ahead from here in Wisconsin to Arizona for my daughter as she was leaving for college. The reason I am so glad is that the UPS driver messed up the delivery, the result being that the boxes were sent back to Wisconsin. I was stressed out about it until I spoke with Fred the store owner. He made everything right even though he could have simply blamed UPS and told me to go jump in the lake. I've only used this store to ship returns. Always very fast and friendly, I'm in and out in literally 30 seconds most of the time.

I had a package that was damaged due to them improperly packing it. UPS denied the claim. The store owner ended up making it right for me and I really appreciate it. read more

This gets one star only because it won't post with zero stars. On Monday, we dropped off a phone with a QR code from the manufacturer for it to be packaged and shipped next day air. Our receipt shows the date. I tracked it and it hadn't arrived by Thursday. I called and was told this happens sometimes; I should call the UPS location it is shipped from, who then told me it's the stores responsibility. We went to the store, and I told them it had to be in the store. The clerk then finds it it on the shelf, but when I had called earlier, he said it wasn't there. I took a pic of it on the shelf. When I checked online later it says it was dropped off at the store on Thursday, one minute after I took a pic of the package on the shelf. So where exactly was the phone since Monday. When I asked to talk to the manager I was told he wasn't in until Friday. When I called on Friday, I was told he wasn't in and they didn't know when he would be. Very unsatisfied with the quality of service at this location. Will not use this location again. read more

The location was closed and I saw a guy in there. Knocked on the door instead of ignoring me he came to the door. I told him my desperation of how I needed my package to go ASAP and he took care of it. Extraordinary service most businesses would ignore a customer after hours. If you are running 30 mins late and need to ship a package I recommend this location. Made my day plus more. read more

I have been to the 27th Street store several times to return items, a couple times to have them print the Amazon return label. I was always in and out quickly. Granted, it's never been a complicated exchange, but I have never had a problem at this store. read more

So, I brought a package in to ship several months ago. I was looking for information about shipping a package via USPS, but having it boxed by them. The older gentleman there was friendly, but was obviously confused about the shipping criteria allowed by USPS, and he contradicted himself several times during the discussion. He clearly did NOT know what he was talking about, but having had good experiences at other UPS stores, I took him at his word that he knew what he was talking about. Well, a few days later, I brought the package in to be boxed up, and this short, Napoleon-complex having, 4-eyed musclebound meathead with an obvious cro-magnon intellect (who was there when I spoke with the older gentleman and heard our whole discussion about the package) provided contradictory information yet again, and very hastily and rudely boxed up my package. He tried talking me into spending over $900 (!) to have this thing shipped. I saw him interact with several other customers as well that day, and that guy really seems to hate his job. I guess it must be really hard being small in so many ways, he has to take his own inadequacies out on paying customers. This is the closest UPS store to where I live, and I would rather drive across town to any of the other locations then bring my business back to this s***hole. AVOID. read more

Trash store with rude owners. I inquired into opening a PMB here and they couldn't have been less interested if they tried. They showed me ZERO interest that I was in their store, did not smile or greet me and looked as if they were in a coma. I saw their prices and was shocked at how expensive they are compared to other UPS stores (They are independently owned and many set their own prices) but this place was almost twice the price of the last UPS store I had a PMB at! There was no way they deserved what they were asking so I took my business elsewhere. Oh and this place has previously been broken into so I wouldn't count on anything being very secure here. read more
