This place is great, and gave me exactly what I wanted. You're best off calling and making an appointment to the shop. Gary will greet you there and show you a variety of samples based on what you need. It's helpful to have a concept ahead of time so he can help you to narrow things down, he'll give you some friendly advice on stocks and appearance... just ask him! Luckily I knew exactly what I wanted and after a brief show and tell, I gave him some info and he emailed me a couple days later with a price quote. After that, it's a simple matter of sending him the files he needs, and he goes to work! When I got my new business cards, I was ecstatic. Literally turned out exactly like I had hoped. The quality is miles ahead of VistaPrint, so be prepared to pay a decent amount of money, but for the quality of what you get in return it is well worth it. High recommendation. read more

Fantastic. Absolutely flawless service! We had our wedding invitations printed here - they do letterpress, offset printing, thermography, embossing, debossing - etc. We had our invites letterpressed - and they came out perfect. I found AccuColor through a recommendation, as they do alot of unique business cards. I contacted Gary on a Friday afternoon and went over to the shop to learn more about their process, take a look at papers and get some pricing information. We spent about an hour talking about options, paper stock etc. Gary showed us several samples of everything from letterpress foil to letterpress with one color. Everything was stunning. His advice was exactly was we needed - and got answers to every question we could imagine plus some. They carry a wide variety of in-house stocks & envelopes - which makes the process much more economical, and less timing consuming. It's hard to find a printer that has such a wide range of papers that they have on hand. From the moment we contacted Gary at Accucolor to picking up the invitations the process was seamless - they know what they are doing here - with genuine customer service, delivering a magnificent product and the best pricing I have EVER found for this kind of printing. Any art director/graphic designer and/or letterpress nerds would love this place. I went here to get my business cards printed. I'll post a pic of it later. Vistaprint and many online printers may be cheaper, but the quality here is well worth it. Gary is a true professional and cares about the work he puts out. I highly recommend visiting his shop through an appointment since he has a ton of samples you can go through. E-mailing will be hit or miss with ANY printer. FYI, do not get black foil on grey stock for your business card. There are only two in existence and one of them is Gary's card. ;) read more

3 stars because he did respond to my emails even though it was short and curt. I wanted to make my own invitation and my friend was able to design it for me. Let me inform you that I don't know anything about printing. I purchased invitation papers and was told I had to use digital printing due to shimmer paper I was using. AccuColor responses were very rude. Sorry if I offended you, but most general public do not know the differences in printing services you provide. It's rude for you to make me feel unworthy for your service and calling my request a "desk top service." read more

Let me just say that Gary at AccuColor is awesome. I found him here on Yelp, and thought I'd give him a try based upon his great reviews. I sent him a design file for my wedding Save-the-Dates that was in pretty bad shape. Gary coached me through the problems (color issues, font issues...you name it!). A printer who helps you tidy up a file? Why, this type of service just doesn't exist! Except, it does at AccuColor. Not only that, but at the end of this email saga, Gary referred me to another printer who could give me a better price for my small 50-card printing run. Now that's a stand-up move. The fact that I am joining Yelp and specifically beginning with this review should tell you just how amazing Gary and his crew are. After a long search for a printer for our wedding invitation suite a while back, my husband and I made an appointment with Gary. From the first meeting, we knew he was the guy for the job. His interest and accommodating nature were only surpassed by his mad skills and adept staff. This guy knows his stuff when it comes to a variety of printing techniques. And loves it. Just ask to see his offset printers and vintage letterpresses, and you will see how much of a craftsman he truly is. Not being a total novice to the world of design and printing myself, I needed someone like him to trust...and I was beyond impressed with (and jazzed up about) the shop atmosphere there. I know I am just reiterating the gushing comments already here but, hey, Gary totally deserves it. I found him on Yelp and I couldn't have been happier with the final product (wedding stationary). Gary is a true artisan. He treats every job with detailed attention and care so the result is simple perfection. His studio is impeccable - there are always many many jobs in process but each one is perfectly organized and there is not a spec of dust or misplaced paper in the whole shop. I looked high and low for someone to letterpress all of our invitations for our wedding. Accucolor helped me in working with the designer all the way to printing. They were amazing and with our great collabortation we were able to make a better product than I would have been able to otherwise!!! We got so many compliments on our inviations and place cards at the wedding that we are submitting them to some magazines to hopefully be published. This might have been one of the rudest customer service I have ever experienced. Gary seemed offended I was not a professional deisgner and was late to return Emails,rude when he did and seemed annoyed. I could forgive all of this is the product would have turned out wonderful, but the save the date post card we designed was mis-printed into a card format so there wasn't a place to write an address. Gary's offer was to give me envelopes, not reprint the cards. I was very disappointed with the experience. read more

Not sure if it was just a bad day to call or if he is always obnoxious but i called about getting some business cards printed and he couldn't have been more annoyed by my request. As soon as i said i only wanted 100 for my first run he told me " you wont be happy with my pricing". Needless to say the conversation ended there. Contacted Gary at Accucolor to inquire about wedding invitations on May 16th - still have NEVER heard from him.

I used Accucolor to print my wedding invitations and thank you notes for my August 2011 wedding. Gary is fantastic! I cannot recommend his services enough. He is incredibly prompt to respond, and if he has any delay, he always lets you know asap that he's back up on email etc. He took the time to really walk my husband, and I though the printing options. I appreciated his straight forward approach and honest answers. Instead of trying to upsell me on everything, he was very candid about what looks good and trying to accommodate all of my wants. He was so easy to work with, as everything was delivered on time and looked perfect. I really wanted letterpress invitations, but I wasn't willing to pay the price that so many online companies wanted. Gary was the perfect solution. My mother-in-law is a graphic designer, so she was able to put the file into the appropriate format. Gary was so accommodating, and he only required that the file be in a format that his machines could read. He didn't require that I use a specific graphic designer. I loved this!
