Today, I was taking a particularly long time to find the address I needed in my phone. The man who helped us (owner or manager??) was soo patient and showed my 3 year old some cute (and impressive!) magic tricks while we waited. My son thought they were soo cool and couldn't believe he made a couple items disappear. It was super sweet and made the time fun and easy. I use this location all year round and they always make it easy!

Everyone has their own horror stories about standing in line at the local post office during the…read moreholiday season. Lines that go on forever, and are so slow that a bottle Heinz ketchup flows twice as fast. Thankfully, a friend of mine told me about this place on M-17, just west of Golfside Road. I needed to mail a package to my friend in Tokyo, so I went to the local post office on my day off, and there had to be nearly 50 people waiting in line. Then I remembered Goin' Postal was right near a specialized grocery store that I really like on M-17. So I left the line behind and drove out west of town. Was I ever lucky, I was the only person in line, and after I filled out my customs forms, purchased some stamps I was right out the door in less than 10 minutes. The staff at this place is very friendly and gave me several shipping options to choose from. I can just imagine as I drove home, most of the people in that line at the local post office were still waiting in line to be served. That said, I was amazed that my package arrived within a week. I highly recommend this place, as they are faster than the local post office, and they don't have the attitude that some of the postal workers have.

They share their door with Frameworks and take up the right side of the store. They have an eclectic yet charming selection of Knick knacks, keepsakes, and tchotchkes to accompany their main business of personalized invitations, thank you's, and other stationary. I was greeted pleasantly as soon I walked in the door and asked if I was looking for anything in particular. The store was clean and well organized with plenty of room to move and look about. I overheard a customer in their rear-most space which is where they go over their personalized stationary. They are very thorough in going over how the customer wanted their particular piece to look. Overall it was a very pleasant stop and I found a lovely, unique birthday card and a new pen! Their gifts are on the more pricey side, but really, it is a gift shop and they have items at every price point. Would recommend.
