I had a very unpleasant experience at this UPS location in Coral Gables. The moment I walked in, I greeted the employee with a simple "Buenos días." Instead of responding politely, he looked upset and replied sarcastically, "Why are you guessing I speak Spanish? I'm a gringo." I calmly responded that if he had simply said "Good morning" in English, I would have understood that he only speaks English. There was no reason for the rude attitude. Coral Gables is an area where many people speak Spanish, and greeting someone that way is completely normal. There's nothing cool about having to return products and shipping out mail, but this location made it super simple and barely an inconvenience. I called ahead of time and was greeted kindly on the phone and given instructions to make sure that I showed up with exactly what I needed . Lo and behold when I arrived, the customer service I received in person was just as great as that which was given unto me over the phone. The place was clean and the line, though long, went through super fast: which just goes to show that under the right guidance any workplace can thrive . I don't have a PO Box, but for the convenience and pricing offered here, I might just consider it. I had a great experience at this location, and I'm thankful to the owner/manager who assisted me with a notary seal. I was in and out fast quick, and in a hurry. This location is awesome and if I ever have to come back, I won't hesitate. read more

The owner of this place is a complete imbecile. I was sending my Louis Vuitton purse out for repair, and after a month or so Louis Vuitton reached out to me asking if we were ever going to send the product, come to find out this UPS store sent my purse to the wrong place, told the place to just throw it away, the place that received my package sent it back anyway, and the owner threw it away. Stated he doesn't owe me money because the bag was in poor condition, but offered to pay less than $200 for a bag over $1400. Was rude when trying to communicate. read more

Had to come here for fingerprinting (routine clinical requirement for school/work). The place was a mess, most of the employees wasn't wearing a masks and one employee was coughing loudly and kept saying how her asthma/allergies kept acting up. During this pandemic the safest and most considerate thing would be to wear a mask for customer/employee safety. I felt very uncomfortable around her and did what I could to keep my distance while in the store. read more

I've been to this UPS Store a few times and have never had a poor experience. It's located within a busy shopping center that can be a little bit of a pain getting in and out of, but finding a parking spot nearby has never been an issue. I most recently came in to use their notary services. I made an appointment online; however, I don't think it's completely necessary because it was quick and they didn't seem to be following the schedule. They also do fingerprinting, passport photos, and more. The staff working there was pretty quick to help me. I also needed to print a document off a USB and they had to do that for me in the back. I didn't love not being able to watch them, but they were quick and helped me with everything else I needed to do. Everyone seems to be practicing safety measures and there's hand sanitizer available. read more

This is THE worst UPS store I have ever visited. The time I dropped off two packages coincidentally they both got lost or damaged in transit. Weird because that has never happened to be before in all of the years sending and receiving packages from UPS. The kids because the employees there are like 18 at most are all rude, unprofessional and beyond unpleasant. Apparently UPS stores are not opened Sundays... I had to return something on a Sunday and was desperate looking for an open UPS store. All of them around my house were closed... The closest one I could find was this location and I was so happy that I did! Made my 15 minute trek to this location. Had the kids in tow so I was hoping this was going to be a quick transaction and THAT IT WAS! Walked in and was immediately greeted by Liz. She took my package and let me know that it would be sent off tomorrow but gave me a return receipt and let me know that this was the proof that I did come in to return it at the right date. Exactly what I needed. Just like that I walked back out. So quick and efficient. SOOOO FYI this location is opened Sundays 11am until 3 or 4pm I believe. Its one of the only ones down here in south Florida so keep this store in mind for your Sunday deliveries! read more

'Tia the season for giving, and I recently found myself with two secret Santa gifts to send out! I didn't shop online this year, so a trip to UPS was in order. The thought of going to the UPS store unless it's to pick up a package for myself typically makes me cringe. Will it take long? Will there be a huge line? How much is this gonna cost me? Etc etc. However this UPS store is on point! It's right by my apartment so I've been on several occasions and it's always been quick and painless. Specifically my visit yesterday during a busy time was extremely pleasant. Shout out to the girl who labeled my gifts as from Santa, helped me secure my packages filled with goodness and overall was a gem to be helped by! Their shipping rates are higher than USPS but the reliability and tracking offered on your packages that are shipped by them certainly exceed expectations. For most packages, people opt for the pickup option but when that is not available, you can be reassured that dropping off your package here will ensure it's safe and timely delivery. They don't offer free boxes so make sure your items are ready to go before stopping in. If you're interested in purchasing a box, it's easiest to come in with a prepaid label that's easy to scan and send away. They're also open on the weekends making it even more accommodating for those jam packed during the week. I usually rely on them for time-sensitive packages both domestic and international. They've always been super friendly every time I've stopped by so I know I can rely on them for all my important packages. read more

If there is less than one star that's what this location has to have. Horrible customer service from the manager to the young staff that was sarcastic and lack customer service skills. I made an appointment for fingerprints and they couldn't get me 10 min before and then I had to do the line again to get it done. To top it off no COVID protocol whatsoever. The area is really small and literally throwing packages over my head or passing behind me without even saying "excuse me ". The lack of common curtesy seems the norm at the location. And none of the associates had mask even the one that was performing the fingerprints and he was very closely to me. Overall horrible, don't waste your time in there. read more

There was 5 employees working and only 1 was taking care of the line. The other employees on their phones. There are two guys that usually work there, the older gentleman I always have an issue with when he takes me. Always has such an attitude and for no reason, and this has been on more than one occasion. When you ask him questions, he seems bothered. On today's date August 17, 2020 I went to the UPS store at 6800 Bird Road where I've gone to for years. For the first time, I was turned away for a USPS drop off of a prepaid package with label because "they have too many USPS packages" that hasn't been picked up. I'm disappointed as I've always chosen UPS store for their friendliness and convenience and too avoid the rudeness and long lines at the USPS offices. This store is extremely unprofessional. I left my package (fragile package with glass inside and custom made things) with them on Sunday morning and paid for my package to be delivered on Wednesday and was reassured that the package would be picked up from the store on Monday morning. It is now Monday afternoon and my package has still not been scanned in. I had a feeling this would happen seeing as when I dropped off my package the employee who took it left it on the counter open without putting the label and attended the next customer, I have no doubt my package is sitting in the store completely forgotten about. I tried calling the store to explain the situation and get some insight as to what is going on and they interrupted me and put me on hold for 15 minutes and then hung up on me. I proceeded to call back and told them I was placed on hold and someone hung up and the employee said they hung up because they were really busy. I'm sorry, but you do not hang up on a customer because you are busy, I am just as much a customer even if I'm not physically in your store. My questions are still completely unanswered and I have no idea where my package is. This is ridiculous and I will never be shipping anything out of this store again. Came to drop off a package to ship. The gentleman was very nice and attended to me quickly. He charged me 14¢ more by mistake and tried to return and recharge me to fix his mistake. Although it wasn't a big deal, he asked his manager to help him out because he couldn't figure out how to do it and his manager stated, "oh it's only 14¢ don't worry about it." Which honestly I don't mind, yes it's 14¢. HOWEVER, the way his manager said it so non chalantly made me feel like this was a common occurrence that no one bothers correcting-felt a little sketch. read more

I have been to various UPS stores around town, but this one is great! They are very fast and efficient. I have never had to wait more than several minutes, but usually don't wait at all. I was surprised that they have a notary service, which was so convenient when I had to have something notarized and faxed. They have sent other faxes for me, sold regular postage stamps to me, taken my USPS returns, my Amazon returns, and mailed many a package. I just went to ship a holiday package and went to fill out the form, but they asked for my phone number and found me, and instantly found my recipient in the system (as I send there every year) so I didn't have to fill out the form and was in and out in two minutes. They are in a shopping center, so getting convenient parking is easy. The one time I parked a bit away, I was able to use their cart to get my package from the car and wheel it in. first time i went in this store and it was a breeze. got there with my goods that i needed shipped. the guy bubble wrapped, stuffed, and sealed the box, posted it fragile all in less than five minutes. for under 5 bucks. the shipping is significantly more than the post office, but you get what you pay for. good fast and reliable service!!! read more

I went in expecting to only purchase a shipping box for my cooler of dry ice and contents. I was planning on going back to FedEx to OverNight my package. I was so happy that I didn't have to make that trip back to FedEx (they couldn't supply me with any shipping materials-not even for purchase). The guys here at the UPS Store were all very helpful...I didn't see the name of one of the guys (he is the one who initially greeting me and starting assisting me) but I did catch Keith's name. Keith supplied me with everything I needed, was pleasant, knowledgeable and friendly. I will def. be using their services in the future. read more

This store is probably the best UPS Store I have ever worked with. They would offer to tape all of my boxes closed for free and add labels without an issue. I got so used to their customer service that I've shown up to other UPS stores expecting them to close my boxes for me (and having to pay to buy tape instead). I came to this UPS to get finger printing done through MorphoTrust USA, and the employees were completely inattentive and poorly skilled. They kept forcing the machine to accept rejected scans, which later led to the scans being rejected by FBI causing me to go back. I made sure to secure a fingerprinting at a more competently clerked UPS- not this one, for sure. They were untrained in how to use the machine properly which would have led to getting better fingerprinted scans. I was not pleased with my experience, and will not be returning to this UPS Store. read more
