First, very professionally run business by its employees. No complaints at all with customer service. Five stars for the staff. However,... The place is too small for the volume of business they do everyday. Others have mentioned fire hazard and so forth. I don't know if the business is a franchise or if it's UPS owned, but given there is a huge UPS depot in Lufkin, you'd think we could have a larger store. Oh, what a delightfully *cozy* little UPS store Lufkin has! I mean, who needs space, organization, or basic fire safety when you can have the full experience of a human sardine can? I was *thrilled* to learn that this is the *one and only* UPS store in town because, really, why would a growing community need more than one place to ship their stuff? That would just be too convenient. Coming from Houston, where UPS stores somehow manage to function without resembling an episode of *Hoarders*, I was simply *awestruck* by the artistic arrangement of packages on the floor, by the mailboxes, behind the counter truly a masterclass in chaos theory. I briefly considered renting a mailbox here, but hey, why bother when it's already occupied by a mountain of lost shipments? And let's talk about that line oh my , what a *fun* little fire hazard! Nothing like being squished up against a door while waiting to drop off an Amazon return. Who needs personal space when you can have a front-row seat to disorganization in action? Oh, and the staff! Shout-Out to the one competent employee (the young Black man kudos, dude), but the rest? Yikes. I don't know if they were running a UPS store or just starring in a real-time simulation of "What Not To Do in Customer Service." If I were the owner of this store, I'd be mortified. Long wait times and poor service. Store is so small people are waiting outside often. The prices are very high to ship. Since the UPS hub does not take packages anymore the service is worse. I was advised to use the postal service because it is actually cheaper. Go figure read more

I have trusted this location with multiple packages, and I have had no issues whatsoever. The ladies working there are polite and professional. And, there is always a line, but they move it quickly from person to person. All the packages I have shipped from this location have arrived when promised. I highly recommend this UPS store. Driver for Jasper area hands his deliveries off to people he knows to be a neighbor (to keep him from going "out of his way"). This has happened numerous times of late and in the past. Don't know if they are under new management but they are scamming customers by changing to ship prepaid packages. Update Have been shipping amazon returns for years here and never had to pay for printing services. read more

The owner of this ups store makes record profits like you wouldn't believe. I went in to ship some automotive parts the local terminal was closed and I had to ship the parts out to my customer. The charges would have only been $44.50 at the terminal by the college but I took it hard from the owner and was charged $214.72 to ship out the parts I already had boxed up and packaged. I was very upset to pay that insane overage but I didn't have time to drive to Tyler or Houston to get these to another terminal. I wouldn't ever be back to this location ever. The woman that owns it really is getting filthy rich ripping off hard working people. I understand a 10% mark up on shipping something thru a service but don't be misled by the UPS logo this store has no affiliation. Save your money and go to your local ups terminal. read more

Wonderful ! I had to ship to my husband in South Dakota and it was an urgent package. I went to 2 others places and they weren't even open ( it was about 8:10 am) this place thank god was open and the girl was so nice and helpful!
