She, her husband, & daughter arrived as scheduled on the day of packing. They were efficient & careful in packing my possessions. The day of the move their moving crew arrived right on time as well. They were friendly, professional, highly attentive, to details, efficient, as they loaded my boxes and furniture & asked questions regarding location of furniture once they arrived at my new place. Everyone of this crew had a great attitude, very courteous, considerate. I didn't get to travel as soon as the moving crew, so family met them at my new place. When I did arrive my furniture was placed, ice maker to refrigerator connected, my beds assembled in the bedrooms. What a relief after such a long day! I highly recommend Lone Star Moving, the entire staff & the way in which they managed the entire process.     NOT IN GOOD HANDS! There was damage to several of our furniture pieces, items broken that we were…read morenot told about and discovered broken glass they swept out onto our driveway and arrived with a truck that was not large enough, so two trips had to be made. Upon completion of the move, you are forced to sign off that there was no damage in order for the 'clock' to stop. How is anyone supposed to know at that very second if there was damage done or not!!!!????? The only positive was that the crew was friendly and worked diligently. I will never use your company again nor recommend you to anyone!!!!

    3 movers showed up to move our house and they were all very nice, however they were not…read moreprofessional at all. They damaged a chair (antique), an end table (pictured) and dropped and shattered our big green egg. When they brought in the end table the worker said "um, sorry, the knob came off" As you can see, it was much more than just a knob coming off. It was completely damaged beyond repair. He also said he could fix it with some gorilla glue. I actually laughed at that one! The same worker thought he could move the egg off the truck alone even though it weighs (with the large wooden stand it was on) probably 1000 lbs. It shattered because it is completely ceramic. We have submitted claim forms but the owner hasn't responded and said she would replace the egg with a used one, since ours wasn't new. It was less than 4 years old and only had been used maybe 8 times, it was in pristine condition. It also held a pampered chef pizza stone, which was also broken. After the egg incident the head worker and the one who dropped it screamed at each other loudly in our driveway for about 15 minutes, blaming and defending and screaming. All extremely unprofessional. We had provided lunch for them and were gracious to them at the time, because it is just things, but the fact that we haven't heard from them and no restitution has happened makes me want to leave a true review, so you know what you are getting. The worker who dropped the egg, said he wouldn't be returning to work because he didn't want to work for free. (obviously not recognizing that he would be working to pay off a debt, not working for free) He also said the owner would hire anyone who showed up to work, which let me know that they are mostly inexperienced at properly moving items of value. They also said they couldn't get the baby bed apart and didn't move it, however, when my husband went back to move it, it came apart quickly and easily. I think they just didn't want to move it. This is small, but also they told us they wouldn't move the mattresses without a mattress cover and that we would be charged for them if we didn't have them. So we purchased them ahead of time and they were never used. We left them on each of the mattresses for them to use, but the movers didn't use them. So that was wasted money as well. A lot of our boxes were smashed and I am so thankful we didn't let them move my valuable china, mirrors or pictures. So all in all, if you don't have stuff you care about, they were fine. This move happened in Nov 2020 and we still have no resolution and not even a returned call or text in regards to restitution. We are beyond frustrated and upset that we are going to have to take them to small claims court. We are getting our paperwork ready now to be served.

    We recently used Red Carpet Moving for 2 separate moves. They were responsive, on time and very…read morecarefully wrapped everything. They did an amazing job of fitting everything in the truck to ship across the country and quickly moved the other furniture into their own truck and moved into the house. They also moved a piano without any issues, scratches, etc. We had 5 people there wrapping, packing and moving and they worked quickly and were very organized about it. We did have to add a person to the team in order to get it done on time and Elijah let me know about the additional cost prior to that day. We have now used this team for 3 moves and they have done a great job each time. We would highly recommend them.

    TLDR: They cancelled on me the day of move in at 3pm (6 hours late already) so it was virtually…read moreimpossible to find someone else to move me same day. My absolute worst moving nightmare came true, the day of move (already over 6 hours late from the originally agreed time) this moving company cancelled on me. I originally booked 04/20 for a move on 06/09 and was told they were available. Called a week out as well to confirm and was told all was fine. They were suppose to be at my place at 9am on 06/09. Then the day before I get a text that they are going to be late the next day and they would be there around 11am. OK, not a huge deal, I just had internet and furniture deliveries scheduled that afternoon so that's why I had booked in the morning to begin with. Then 06/09, the day of move, I text at 10:20am to ask if they would still be there around 11am and was told that it was going to be more like 3pm because they were short staffed. Pretty miffed, but it is what it is. Then at 3:18pm I get the message that they won't be showing up and they would need to "reschedule". ABSOLUTELY MY WORST NIGHTMARE to be in an apartment full of boxes and furniture with no truck rented after 3pm on the day I need to move trying to find a moving crew to take pity on me and come move me last minute. I'll also add I have a condition that I won't get into, but I have a lot of issues with my hands and feet and I just wasn't capable of moving it all on my own, especially with no equipment. If you knew or had the slightest inclination you should have told me as soon as possible so I could make other accommodations. You can't do this to people. I will also add that I made many phone calls to local movers trying to find someone to move me that day, and I was told this was not the first time they had heard off issues with this particular moving company. I will also add that I used this company a few years back for a move within my same complex, and other than showing up 1-2 hours earlier than the agreed upon time (cant remember if it was 1 or 2 hours) everything went fine, so this experience was very disappointing. Must having some management issues going on and I would recommend steering clear while they work it out. Thank you very much to Get Moving & Storage LLC who took my call, and although they were busy and booked for the day, they recommended me to Cotton Movers who stepped up and helped move me same day!
