I've lived in the Lititz, PA area over 35 years and the local UPS at Kissel Hill is conveniently located and an easy in and out. Over all the years I've received nothing but top-notch service at this location. The manager and clerks are always friendly and helpful. They are super-fast too during the busy seasons. We used to have the best driver till he retired. The next guy tried his best but often got the numbers mixed up and we lost several packages to ppl down the street who pretended they never got them. We know because their neighbor brought them to us once when they were on vacation. read more

I needed to have a box of books shipped from Amazon to the Lancaster area for a meet-the-author event. I called the store BEFORE placing the order to confirm that they would receive it. The man I spoke with assured me that they could receive it and there would be a $5 charge for holding it. So, I placed the order and had it shipped to this store. The package was delivered by Amazon to the store on September 8. I got the notification from Amazon that it was delivered, and I called the store to say I was coming to get it. The woman I spoke with said they didn't have it. I told her I had verification from Amazon that they had delivered it. "The driver came in and dropped it on the counter, but I followed him out and gave it back to him." Why? I asked "We don't accept packages from Amazon." So.....the first person I spoke to lied, and the second person went OUT OF HER WAY to REFUSE the package. This is utter stupidity. All they had to do was hold onto the packages (it turned out to be two packages) for a couple of hours and they would have made $10 for doing nothing more than hold the packages for a couple of hours. Amazon would not allow me to pick up the packages from their location. So, thanks to this UPS Store I had no books for my book signing and lost hundred of dollars in sales. Steer clear! read more

I called before driving here to ask if they could rebind my music books with spiral binding. They assured me they could and told me the cost. I then immediately drove there, when I got there (about 8 minutes later) they told me they couldn't rebind the books because their big cutter didn't work. Firstly that's a pretty important item to be out of commission at a copy shop, but secondly, that was the whole point of calling first was to make sure they could do it! read more

However, I would like to give a shoutout to one clerk in , in particular. JOYCE went above and beyond trying to help me! (today March 20). I've been really happy with the UPS store in Lititz. I trade a lot of artwork and books with people and use it for packages and documents I want to pick up and they take really great care of all my stuff. They always ask if I need anything and help me out right away when I have questions, even when the store is really busy. All of the employees and the owners are nice and seem dedicated. I'd recommend it if you're looking for good care of your packages and personalized customer service. read more

Very slow and disorganized. Used to be great. Went downhill over the last year.

This UPS store was terrible when I went there. I normally go to the UPS Store on Centerville Road to ship packages. But, a few months ago I knew I had to visit a few other stores located around this particular UPS store and I had to ship a birthday gift to a friend in Germany so I thought I would save my time and gas and just send my package from this UPS store. . . WRONG! My husband and I walked into the store and up to the counter, the girl behind the counter asked me if she could help me and I told her, "Yes, I need to send a package to Germany." Immediately we could tell she was annoyed. But I thought maybe she was having a bad day so I tried to be pleasant. . .I felt as though she didn't want to bother with me at all, she was throwing UPS shipping prices at me and speaking very fast telling me how it's going to cost me soo much money ( I didn't think she was making UPS look very good ). This wasn't my first time shipping a package to Germany I've been shipping Christmas and birthday gifts there for a few years now. And I told her how normally the UPS Store on Centerville Road ships my package via USPS because they said that is the cheapest option for me. The girl working there sighed, rolled her eyes and told me she could do that for me. She started typing and asked me for a brief description of my package I told her, "Birthday Gift" She snapped at me and told me I need to be more specific so I started listing all of the items for her. When it came to the typing in the addresses that's when things got worse. She was obviously fine with our address but when it came to the German address she was very rude, I had it copied, pasted and printed on a piece of paper from an e-mail from my friend because some of the letters in the German language are different and I didn't want to mess up her address. When the girl working at the store got to a letter that she didn't recognize she said, "What the heck is that?" and so I told her what other letters she could use to replace that one letter and I don't think that I came off as a Know-It-All. . .I really didn't mean to at all I was just trying to help her since she seemed so upset, but she made me feel as though I was being a snobby Know-It-All and I felt horrible. . .This actually happened a few times with some of the other letters too. . .I was trying so hard to be nice and helpful to her. Finally, the addresses were in the computer,I was feeling like I could just pay for things and get out of the store away from the girl working there. And then my husband and I are still just absolutely baffled by thins next part. She told me the price for shipping and then she clicked something and told me she was wrong it will actually be an extra $20.00 , I told her no problem that's fine. She looked up at my husband nodded her head in my direction in a VERY sarcastic voice said, "Aw man, she's real nice huh?!" My husband and I just looked at each other shocked, we couldn't believe that had just happened. What was I supposed to say, "Oh no never mind I don't want to ship the gift now" ? Some other things happened too it was just such an awkward blur of the girl getting mad at the computer. An older gentleman that worked there ( I think he was her father or something she kept calling him "Pop", "Pap" something like that) seemed to know more what he was doing (he checked out like three customers and their packages in the time that we were there) he came over to see if he could help and she snapped at him told him no he doesn't understand what's going on she can handle it. He attempted to help twice. . . After all of these shenanigans she finally stopped, pushed my package on the counter in my direction and told me they are unable to ship my package. . . absolutely baffled we thanked her for her time and walked out the door with our package AND she locked the door behind us as soon as it closed. . . . we looked at the times on the door it was 10 minutes past closing time THEN FINALLY we were angry at the girl. . .we figure she just wanted to go home and not bother with us (even though we were there well before closing time). . .I can't think of any other reason. . .and like I said before I felt that my husband and I were being more than patient and kind with this girl. . . I had a job where customers have come in right before closing time and it is frustrating but I never treated them in the manner she treated us. The next day I went to the UPS Store on Centerville Road that I normally do my shipping from and they were very friendly, helpful and quick, no issues at all.
