The service at this store is terrible. I came in today to send an old vcr for someone who bought from me online. I ask the gentleman there, who has been rude in the past, HOW MUCH WILL THIS PACKAGE COST TO SEND WITH THE PACKAGING? He asks for the zip code. "It will be $20 for shipping ground service and packaging will put you prob in the $40s." OK, not too bad. I speak to the client and I will return. The client pays me for the item with the shipping estimate plus a little more just in case it's more. Well I return and suddenly the cost is $65 PLUS the cost of packaging!!! What? I thought you said $20-$40? Now it's $65 to ship? Plus packaging? Are you serious? Well you need a special box, The guy rudely says to me it was JUST AN ESTIMATE for standard shipping. I'm like dude-- I asked you how much would the whole thing cost. That's a big difference in price. He then gets HUFFY with me and repeats firmly it was an estimate. A very BAD estimate dude! Big time! With a line of people behind I didn't argue any more but I was robbed. THEN because he wanted to be extra pissy with me he added full price for all the packaging.. a box $15 bucks and some packaging material was $15 bucks more cause I made him mad... now it's $98 dollars to send a package he "estimated" $40 to send. Thank you! It cost me more to send than it would have to deliver it myself and still have money for dinner! I will definitely box my own packages from now on and I hope to never have to come in your UPS store again. You are terrible at estimating postal costs for someone who works at a postal place. BUT- Instead of raising your voice at me like I did something wrong for questioning it--- because you made a mistake, you could have apologized for your goof, and next time just check how much the package would ACTUALLY cost to send the package- not an estimate.

Highly recommend! Professional customer service and I love the expediency of the automated return via kiosk.

As you can see, all of the 5-star reviews are from years ago. And most of them refer to an…read moreemployee named Scott. Scott was AWESOME!!!!! A professional in every sense. A "Yes, I can!" guy. Busy? No problem. He'd find a way. Communication? Took every call if he was there and responded ASAP when he wasn't. He also suggested creative changes to work I wanted done that were always improvements on my own work and his craftsmanship was phenomenal. He was a true artist and we always talked for a half-hour or more whenever I stopped by and he really loved his work and did view printing as an art. He was so good and so dependable that I would pay higher prices (PLUS SHIPPING) to have him do my printing when I was traveling for business even though I would have a dozen printers nearby. Well, Scott left the state and no longer works there. Whoever replaced him is an exercise is unprofessionalism and incompetence. I recently sent an email saying I needed some printing done for my girlfriend's bookstore. That email went unanswered. Over a week went by with no response so I called the shop. I guy answered in a "you're bothering me" tone. I said I sent an email recently requesting some printing be done and he said, "Yeah. I saw it." Umm . . . okaaaay . . . Well, ha, um . . . I ask, "So, can you guys get me some bookmarks for my girlfriend's store?" He said, "We're backed up like three weeks right now and blahblahblah." Scott was always extremely busy but said he'd make it work, give me a timeline, update me throughout the process, and then contact me to let me know he got it done early, shipped it out, and ask me if I wanted to use the credit card on file or a different one. Not this new guy though. After having my initial email ignored, and blown off by being told how busy they were when I called, my girlfriend sent an email saying she needed 500 bookmarks. She never heard back either so she finally went to a local printer and had them done. She called me thrilled that THE NEW PRINTER CHARGED HER 1/3 OF WHAT MINUTEMAN PRESS IN NEWTOWN HAD PREVIOUSLY CHARGED HER. Then she called an hour later mad as heck that Minuteman Newtown sent her a box of bookmarks. AND CHARGED MY CREDIT CARD that they had on file from two years ago!! She said, "I sent them an email telling them I wanted to place an order expecting them to call me for specifics. I needed to make changes to the bookmarks and they never even contacted me. They just printed em and shipped em out!! Who does that?!?!" To make matters worse, THE QUALITY OF THE WORK MINUTEMAN NEWTOWN DID WAS AWFUL!!!!! UNUSABLE!!!!! I'm attaching a photo of the job they did (mis)cutting her bookmarks. How would any professional printer think this was acceptable work?!?!?!?! I emailed them telling them I was disappointed in my recent experience with them, asked my credit card charge to be reversed (I never authorized the payment), and received no response. Former 5-star reviews from years ago should be scrubbed from their Yelp site since they were all for Scott. This place has become unusable.

I stopped in last week to see if they could produce a professional sign for the law office I was opening in town. It was a slat sign to be mounted on a larger directory sign in the front yard of this old converted 19th Century house. I spoke with Scott Woron, who quickly looked at the old signs and explained to me that it was a thin vinyl sheet over the wood base that would carry the print, and not directly onto the planks. He said it would be easy to do, and the cost would be very reasonable. I stopped back in today to pick up the signs. They were ready and looked great! Cost less than the estimate I received from another sign company that specialized in only that one thing. Happy to save a few bucks and miles. Now, I applied for the borough permit to put up the sign. Once that is secured and the office is inspected for the Use & Occupancy permit, I will have the signs put in place, and be open for business. It was great to have it done correctly, on time, and at cost by the local Minuteman Press. Local business scores again!

Bigger guy at the counter is a complete A-hole. Used to come here regularly to drop off packages…read morefor my small business, and was never given a problem as I packed my own parcel & provided my own labels. Never needed assistance until today, as the box that I came with wouldn't be large enough to fulfill all contents & required a shipping label. I came in with an already packed box, along with other items I was hoping to purchase a mailer for. My mom came with me, as I'd need help carrying items in the store. We had a few questions regarding the shipment, including insurance for the package.. We never got an answer to any of the questions, just a blank stare. Instead of giving me the mailer as requested, this man began cutting my box open, I assume, to put both packages together in a larger box. He didn't say a word, ask for permission to open it, or even let me know what he would be doing with it. My mom asked that he be careful while slicing through the tape to avoid damaging any of the contents inside. This man immediately began making condescending comments towards my mom, and asking "is this your package or hers?" in a strange tone, as if she didn't have a right to ask questions. He did end up grabbing a bigger box from the back and started loading everything inside. We wanted to be sure that all of the contents were included in the box, as I had a bunch of small stickers inside that would keep falling out. Not only that, but we wanted to be sure that the package was secure, as the "new" box had previously been taped and cut open. Some more comments to my mom: "are you an overbearing parent?" & "please do not touch the package," after my mom tried making sure the box was secure, and mocking her whenever she laughed uncomfortably. The last straw for this man, I guess, was when my mom reached for my package (that was sitting on the counter in front of us - not in his hands) in attempt to add more tape from a roll that we brought with us. He picked up the box to slam it on the counter, told her to take it, then told us to leave. I wish I could've given this place a good review as it was a convenient solution to fulfilling my orders, but realistically, this place doesn't care about you or your shipments. Staff is not friendly or helpful, and in my opinion, is only in business to make a quick profit. This place is a bit unorganized & very time consuming if you are looking for any kind of assistance, or planning on using them as a label and/or mailer provider. Only good as a dropoff location in my experience, and a lot easier to get the job done without actually speaking to the employees. They don't want to help you.
