I visited this UPS Store today and unfortunately witnessed a very upsetting interaction between the owner/manager and what appeared to be a new employee. She was training him on how to process packages, but instead of being patient and encouraging, she spoke to him in a harsh, demeaning manner in front of customers. It was clear that her behavior was making him extremely nervous, which only caused him to make more mistakes. As a customer, I felt compelled to speak up. I respectfully told her that when someone is being yelled at or spoken to harshly, it often makes them anxious and more likely to make mistakes. I suggested that she be more patient and treat him with kindness. Unfortunately, she was very dismissive and showed no interest in hearing my concerns. No employee deserves to be treated with disrespect, especially someone who is new and still learning. Publicly embarrassing an employee in front of customers is unprofessional and creates an uncomfortable environment for everyone in the store. Good leadership is built on patience, professionalism, and respect, not intimidation. To the young man, if you ever happen to read this: please remember that you deserve to be treated with dignity and respect. No job is worth enduring humiliation or abuse. I sincerely hope you find a workplace where you are valued and encouraged to grow. I hope the owner reflects on how she treats her employees, because the way staff are treated says a great deal about a business. read more

I have been going to this UPS store for years. Tarana is always amazing, quick, and efficient with her customers. An irrational gentleman, decided to email the store about having prints completed before 11:30 p.m. (probably meant a.m.) and when he arrived before that time, he expected his prints to be completed ahead of every other customer who was already there who was in front of him. He made a fool of himself yelling and talking over Tarana about his obliviously selfish priority, ripped up his prints in the store, threatened to leave bad reviews, and left. Just putting this out there as a lot of irrational stupid people are allowed to leave bad reviews when they are in fact insufferable people. read more

I resurrected my Yelp account to make sure as many people as possible avoid this location and want to add my review to the others. I had a friend overnight ship something to me, which cost hundreds of dollars as I was told there would be a refund if not delivered as promised. It did not show up as promised. For the past four months, we have been trying to get a refund. All we have been met with is diversion from a very rude person. We are waiting on the check was said to us for months. We will tell you when the check is here. Now, we are being told we picked up the check and signed for it. Calling UPS Corporate says a check arrived months ago. I do believe her goal is to wear us down to the point we give up and reading all of these reviews of poor customer service I believe that even more I would not trust this location whatsoever with anything you find important. Avoid at all costs. There are other UPS stores in the area that deserve your business more than this one read more

So if you look at the reviews they are for one employee in particular. Today on 11/18 I had the worst encounter I've experienced with UPS. I came in to return a package with a supplied return label. I first asked if they had tape so that I could ensure the package was properly closed. She told me very condescendingly that "of course they have tape this is UPS". I then reiterated I was trying to clarify if they would tape the package or if I needed to. She cut me off and told me take a picture of the package. I did and she takes the package and stated they also don't normally print the labels. I let her know that's not what the instructions regarding the return stated. She printed the label, and threw the package on a pile. I stayed there and again stated that the package needed to be taped and if she couldn't do it, I'd take it back. She ignored me and then proceeded to say "as a courtesy they will do it this time but don't try this during the holidays". I was beyond appalled. She then proceeds to continue helping another customer and states she will do it at some point. To avoid further disruption to this business I left but filed a complaint with UPS. It is the dark haired Indian woman and she is beyond rude and nasty. There are years of negative reviews on this one employee and the fact that her behavior has not changed is indicative of how the owner allows this store to be ran. I will not stop until this lady is formally disciplined as people's money is at stake and embarrassing customers is not okay. read more

This has to be the most unprofessional establishment I have been in. The worker was very rude claimed to be the manager, fraudulently stated my package was mailed when it was not . I am currently trying to get shipper to file complaint as well. read more

Would leave zero stars but that wasn't an option! I have used this store for a while because it is the closest to my home. Lately I have been going out of my way to go to another one. The owner is usually rude. she talks down to you and her employees. She complains about every customer after they leave. I return a lot of things from Amazon I had made up my mind to ask if she doesn't get reimbursed enough from that business because she acts like she could do without my business. Yesterday she was worse than usual! Several customers left before she even got to them. I don't know if it was because she was alone or just her total rudeness to everyone. when you return with Amazon you can return things without a box or bag but she charged me for a container for an Amazon return. I was not about to argue with her. I just wanted to finish my transaction and leave the place never to return! read more

This store is close to my home and staff has always been nice HOWEVER there is one BAD BAD BAD APPLE the lady tannra who works there is beyond stressed snappy and absolutely the rudest person I've ever come across in any business especially customer service jobs. The first time she was rude I tried to ignore it and then again today she was even worse . She doesn't want to help with anything , and when I gave her my printing order she made a simple task hell . Literally telling me to move away from counter and she needs to help other people and telling me to sit down . Ordering me to send email from the car because emails don't work in her store .Then didn't even print it correctly. As I was waiting on my order it was awful to see how she was treating people . I would happily pay more and drive further to not give this location my money and feel so bad when leaving . read more

The woman at the counter who is always there is so incredibly rude. It's ridiculous. I go out my way and drive 15 minutes further to a UPS store just to avoid having to counter her. No matter how nice i've been she always responds annoyed as if it's a bother to even ask her a question then she give smartass answers. Ive refrain from giving back a nasty attitude, but this is my LAST time dealing with it. I've also never been charged $2 for a label to be printed and to tape my package? Horrible location they really need to get her out of there if she's so unhappy with her job. read more

The owner/ manager, the with silky black hair and olive / middle eastern toned skin is soooooo RUDE. I mention her appearance because it's only her! Deplorable service from her! The other staff at this location were really nice. She bad-mouths customers right after they leave (saw her do this several times), she puts the phone on hold and never goes back to it (for like 15 minutes), she argues with customers, puts them down, speaks in a very demeaning tone and way to customers - she is a very very poor reflection of the UPS brand. read more

Today on May 16 around 6:15pm. The same manager that I have witnessed for 2years had a rude, condescending and disrespectful tone. I am used to ignoring her. For the lady who works for the news & she took your mail out of the out going box I have a 5 min video that I'm trying to upload for corporate Email me if you need a copy harve4c@cmich.edu With that being said today she flip her top and verbally attacked 6-8 black ppl who was very professional & patient with the Indian manager. The manager decided to refuse service , take our scanned mailed out of the bin, issue refunds, demand that we get out, proceed to lock the door with us in the store and threaten to call 911, now how can we get out if we are locked in, after we were leaving as asked. The manager became in raged at 1 customer who asked her to be patient and stop speaking so rudely. The Customer did not raise her voice, she paid for her mail and was out the door. At this point the manager was still furious that someone put her in her place and said that her poor customer service will be reported. Now all remaining customers including me and my 3 year old are still targets for her. She went around asking each person if you do not agree that I am helping you nicely, then I am not processing your service. She ranted, and yelled, threaten the new employee Joshua and said he better not come back if he agrees with what the customer is saying about her rude behavior. She kept throwing stuff on the floor so he can pick it up. As I am trying to wrap up my computer work she repeats that she is done taking customers so we all can go else where. This was definitely racially driven because she unlocked the door for two white customers who walked in after and her tone became polite. I refused to engage or acknowledge her behavior so that pissed her off too. I had business to handle and pay and try & leave quickly. For the lady who works for the news & she took your mail out of the out going box I have a 5 min video that I'm trying to upload for corporate Email me if you need a copy harve4c@cmich.edu The pics are her yelling, and being aggressive and targeting anybody in her sight. read more

Too many comments about the rude manager! I have witnessed her foolishness as well. Stop supporting her and make her feel it financially!!

Would give this place NO stars!!!!!! Indian lady (the owner) was rude and yells at customers. She seriously needs help because she cannot provide good customer service by herself. She's trying to take care of all the customers at once instead of assisting on a first come first serve basis. Why offer services when you can't deliver. Guess you have to go there when there is no other customers there. Obviously the owner does not read the reviews or care. Just money hungry. Finding another UPS store and will spread the word NOT to use this location. Conveniently located by he house but convenience is not always better in this case. read more

Wish I could put zero stars! This lady is crazy rude!! Not just to me or my wife, but to every single person that steps in view of her. Every customer was treated poorly and rude. She talks down to everyone. Her poor employees, she just talks to them like they are stupid. Then she turns around and talks to customers the same way. I don't know if she is the owner/manager or what but she needs to be FIRED! I will avoid UPS stores all together after this experience. Amazon should end their contract with them as well if this is how UPS allows customers and employees to be treated. This lady made me uncomfortable within 30 seconds of standing in the store. She was just so rude and condescending to every person at the counter. She even made fun of a customer after they walked out because they asked how long the USPS would take to get a letter to New Jersey. Terrible experience SHE IS A LUNATIC!!! read more

I don't the associates name, but she has got to be the rudest person I've ever had an encounter with. I've seen her be rude, talk to customers bout employees, call employees "incompetent to help", etc. I have her samples of my product as a nice gesture, & in return she gave me unsolicited opinions, and poured water over my info card to sell me UPS Products. I've never been so insulted when coming to someone with a good intention & she made me late to work with the bullshit. Gas is high, but I've decided to drive to a difference UPS location from now on. read more

I've been in this store on at least 10 occasions. Sometimes for Amazon returns, others for shipments, etc. Luckily, I've usually been serviced by a college aged person who has always been pleasant and helpful. But on several occasions, I've seen the OWNER be abrupt, condescending and downright rude to other customers. Today it was my turn. I was initially helped by a young lady. My Amazon return today was supposed to be packaged (not the norm and I didn't know) so I bought a large mailing envelope to complete the return. Amazon return done. Next, I had a box with a pre-paid return shipping label. I mistakenly thought it was UPS, but it was USPS. My Bad. Hoping to avoid a trip to the post office, I asked how much it would cost for me to just pay for the shipment. After measuring everything, evaluating the contents, etc, she says they can't do it because it's a USPS parcel return center. At this point I've wasted 10 minutes. Then she says I can just leave it there and the post office will pick it up tomorrow. WHAT?! So, I'm thinking why didn't you lead with that - hmmm? Now all I need is one 10 inch (I kid you not!) piece of packing tape to close the box, then I'll throw on the pre-paid label and I'll be done, right? Oh no! She won't give me 10 inches of tape and (from the back of the room), the manager loudly pipes in "It makes us liable." Meanwhile, teenage barbie says, "We can sell you tape." Now I'm pissed (this should have been so easy). So I said to the manager, "You can't give me 10 inches of clear packing tape so I can close this box, but you can keep this box in your store overnight?" And the manager says yes, we won't have any tracking information and therefore we won't be liable in any way." I still can't believe it. Who does that? She does want customers right? So, I picked up my box, payed for my envelope. Thanked Barbie for her help and told her to tell her manager I'd never be back. I also mentioned she should tell her manager to check her Yelp and Google reviews. I feel better now. read more

The UPS Store - UPS Store, Old 41, Kennesaw Georgia - Shipping Centers Near Me - Kennesaw, Georgia

The lady that owns and works in this location is so rude and argumentative. I've witnessed her treat customers and her assistant very poorly. Tara a and her staff are so sweet, helpful and friendly. We have used this store for shipping packages as well as graduation signs and banners over the past five plus years. I was worried about sending it but Tatiana assured me she would give it extra care and attention. And sure enough, it got there safe and sound. Totally recommend this store! read more

Horrible experience today. I was treated like an errant child while trying to get some personal business taken care of. If I could rate this place a zero, I would. The owner is very RUDE and caters to a certain type, Especially what looks like, the mail box ? Holders. I've been coming to this location for a while now and have noticed the attitude towards certain people. Today I got the "Ugly" disrespectful rude attitude, that I just read about from other reviews. I expressed to owner that she was being rude and that I will not come back and she said "That's Fine" I couldn't pull up my return code on my phone fast enough for her. To all fairness, she was confusing me by not giving me a straight answer on the packaging. No one was waiting. I wasn't in there 3 minutes tops. A customer she knew (Male) walked in and she started rushing me and said that I was holding up the line and that "I need to be QUICK when I come in" I'm a Grandma and first and far most a grown Woman. I hope that the employees that were working in there at the time, get respected. read more

Echoing the other reviews - Extremely volatile, rude, condescending woman/manager - Tarana. Several customers and employees witnessed her treating an elderly customer poorly. Rolling her eyes at the customer, raising her voice, and humiliating her. This manager spouted disparaging remarks about customers and attempted to disguise her nastiness with a "have a blessed day!" She even spoke to the younger employees in an unacceptable manner. This clearly is a pattern of this manager - and not just one bad day. Its surprising that UPS would want this person representing them when there are so many other shipping options to choose from. The manager is very rude and disrespectful to customers. I called and she intentionally hangs up the phone in my face. I called back to address the fact that she hung up in my face and she then tells me that she is busy with customers inside of the store and says that she's taking care of them before me because they actually decided to come inside of the store unlike myself as if i didn't matter. I'm still a customer whether i decide to call or come inside the store shouldn't matter and this manager shouldn't be allowed to treat people this way. This manager also seems very comfortable with being nasty to customers as if no one from corporate will find out because when i asked for the number she refused to give it to me the first time then when i asked again she said she doesn't have a corporate number and tells me to find the corporate number on my own (with a horrible attitude & tone) before placing me on hold then intentionally hanging up the phone again. The manager's name starts with a T and i believe to be spelled TRANA which think may be a fake name given to complaining customers because there is no way this person can continue to get away with this type of behavior if that is her real name she needs to be fired immediately. This happened to me on April 2, 2021 approximately around 2:30pm through 3:05pm in the afternoon. The UPS location is 1635 Old Us Hwy 41 NW Unit 112 Kennesaw, Ga 30152 I also found the corporate number on google if anyone needs it, it is 1(800) 742- 5877. I have been a customer at this location for over 8 years now and Tarana is more a friend than a business owner at this point. As others have said here, she is always pleasant and asks about my family by name. I have never had a bad experience there, until today when a customer behaved terribly toward her. Used bad language and caused a commotion. NOBODY should have to accept thug behavior, business owners included. B/c I had some choice words for her inside, This lovely patron waited for me outside and verbally assaulted me (&my family)in the parking lot. LOL- Classy. You know who you are. This store is our neighborhood friendly UPS store! I often see my neighbors in there and exchange pleasantries.
