The people that work here are very helpful and the customer service is excellent. Even if there is a line they are always trying to do their very best. This is my favorite, UPS store! You can get to the store by parking across from the Student Center, going through the Student Center and up the stairs past the food court. Needed a notary. Called, very polite, went there. Greeted at the door by a polite and helpful manager. Notarized document, was very careful, neat, and made the process pleasant. Store was clean, well-organized, and open real early, which helps me when I need things notarized / done before my regular work. Andre, the manager/notary made it seem like my showing up for a notarization was as important as if I was a big deal. Great to know this place is nearby! read more

The store computer "locked up" when entered the UPS barcode. They had no clue why and if it was just their computer that had an issue. When asked to call and check with another store, the clerk wouldn't, but suggested instead I drive and see (he was on a private call most of the time, and had little interest in debugging the problem). His solution was to charge extra $$ to print a label (UPS in-store printing makes at least 900% profit). Never had such surprises with FedEx, and they'd always print a label free on the spot if needed. UPS stores seem to exist as a separate business from the online portal, zero accountability. read more

Zach from this UPS location has been extremely helpful with a couple last minute work projects. He's responded to my requests very prompt and the prints have turned out great! Additionally, the rates are way better than any FedEx. I'd highly recommend this UPS if you're in the Irvine area! WOW! I remember hearing they were going to open this location and then promptly forgot about it due to my stupendously amazing attention span. Hey, what's that shiny thing on the ground over there...oh wait I'm writing a review, duh! To be honest, I really don't prefer UPS as a shipping company (and pretty much NEVER use them!) but on the rare occasion I need to ship things via their service, it's TOTALLY inconvenient for me to do so. Gee I wonder why I don't use them much????? O_o I am not near any shipping center that's not a cluster$#%@ for parking or waiting in line, and the drop boxes never seem to be able to handle anything bigger than a pretty flat box or envelope. Lo and behold, they open one right at the place that I'm stuck at for double digit hours every day! Pretty much any UPS shipping I need to do is due to using prepaid shipping paid by someone else, and I always seem to end up driving around with some package for days (or even weeks) at a time since I can't ever drop if off anywhere. This quickly becomes a major suckfest since as we know in our hustle and bustle world, time is money. The workers are much more cheery than your typical UPS Store, which is a major plus. A small mistake in the open hours for this UPS is not enough to devalue the hard work, personal attention and effort they give to every single customer that comes in. Point 1 - The guys that work at this UPS store are GENUINELY. AWESOME. PEOPLE. I have never had anything less than great service from this store. They're completely flexible with my needs in terms of printing. If I mis-print a few pages, no biggie, no charge. If I'd like to print business cards a at a cheaper price, no problem, they allowed me to print on larger card stock so I could cut the sheets myself. This cut down my cost from $20+ to $6. Also, in that particular instance, they also worked with me for 30~ minutes to fix my graphics so the colors printed crisp and perfect. Point 2 - Way better than the local printing competition. I've had such terrible experiences with the FedEx / Kinkos thing across the street. It's a huge pain to print with their machines. If you've tried it, you know exactly what I mean. Customer service at UTC FedEx. They've never given me the level of attention and concern for the overall product that the UCI UPS guys have given me. They genuinely care about YOU. Not as just their customer, but as an individual. Seriously. I can only give praise for the warm and friendly attitudes they always have. The UCI UPS store is a godsend on our campus for students, student organizations and faculty. No more excessively packing credit into student cards. No more feeling ripped off just to quickly print a huge essay. No more driving ridiculous distances and negotiating with printing locations miles away just to get a stack of posters for your club (I've done that). I asked how much it would be to send my item and they said $13 but afterward I saw they charged me $20. They've charged $2 more than what they told me on the item and $5 for a box, even though my item already had a box. read more

I needed to ship out a mini keyboard with weird dimensions. Brought in my own box and the Regional Mgr, Sean, gave excellent service. Earlier I had called ahead and Patrick was also very helpful, letting me know they could score the box and bring the height of the box down to reduce shipping costs. This place is awesome. I needed to print photos to go study abroad for Japan and he workers were very accommodating. If you didn't already know when you go abroad you need to print passport photos, but since not every country is the same, countries like Japan will demand specific sizes for your passport photos. With some trial and error the workers here saved me a trip of going off campus and searching for a speciality store. Highly recommend to go here for all your mailing and passport photo needs. They're patient, kind, and very understanding. I was not charged for the pictures that came out wrong and instead they only charged me when the photo set that was accurately sized were printed. I've also shipped two items in the last 2 weeks and both have arrived to their destination with no setbacks. read more

Went here to make a photocopy and mail some very important documents. The people working there were very helpful, kind, and they even compared different shipping options for me. I hate this place with passion. They do not open the store on time, they give out total misinformation, they enter the addresses wrong in their systems and when you complain, they all but say 'fuck you' to your face.
