Otherwise, I would've had to drive for nearly an hour to another UPS Store. Any-whoo, yes, there was a line leading outside the door upon my arrival and I showed up pretty close to opening. There were only two reps at the counter, but they helped to move things pretty quickly, even with all the customer questions, etc. Again, I was nervous about what type of customer service I would encounter here based on the reviews, but the gentleman who assisted me was extremely kind, professional, knowledgeable and funny. In between cracking jokes about the weather, he gave me a run down on what to expect in terms of my return and the cable company. I was in and out of the store within 20 minutes; again, there was a heavy crowd early in the AM, and with only two clerks working, I feel they did an excellent job. In short, I wont be anxious to return to this location should the need arise! Win Win!

They are not FedEx, ups or uses. They provide shipping for these people and box service for a fee. The item I was returning via UPS pre printed label had explicit instructions not to drop off at a "box" and instead to use a drop off store as if that was some kind of substantive difference that anyone would know about, like the difference between a Nicaraguan and a Dominican origin cigar (one had airtime in a Seinfeld episode, the other did not.) The UPS locator URL schwiftposted this address conveniently just down the block from the Central Market one way and the Whataburger the other way down Westheimer. So I was slightly expecting an immersive package sending experience and not just sliding something into a box, also known as a glory hole for box sized packages in certain parts of town that "a friend" frequents. Instead I parked in the tiny parking lot, most spots blocked off for the gittin your nails did studio next door in the strip mall, and walked into a space devoid of customer experience. I approached the one woman working the entire store by herself and asked if this is where UPS packages go because this was either that, or the jerk store. She just points at the back to a box, which is what UPS told this beautiful bitch NOT to do in written instructions. I ask if I get a receipt or anything as proof I put this package where I was supposed to according to her instructions in this "authorized" store based on UPS website, in case some kind of scofflaw or other criminal were to stuff the package down their underoos and abscond with it into the night. She just shook her head no. Not excellent customer service. But the package eventually got to where it needed to go so I guess this thing works alright. Location conveniently located near the Whataburger on the right side of the street (Lamar side) for your post-package drop off victory celebration that you are full scale adulting and doing things on your own without the aid of an executive assistant or personal secretary that used to do everything for you.

And continued to be the number one salesman every single month for over three years. Not only was I the top producing salesman, 90% of my sales were brought in BY ME and were not lead generated. I got this company write ups in two national publications and even got them awarded sign company of the year last year by Sign Builder magazine. I put my blood sweat and tears into this outfit and was as loyal as they come. Last month, the owner (Bart Peterschick) and myself came to an impasse and my employment there was severed. No harm, no foul. I am in a MUCH better place now. But now, the man is refusing to pay me what he owes me. I was sent an extortion letter yesterday which threatened to not pay me a single dime unless I agreed to take a much smaller amount. I refused to sign this letter as I believe I should get paid for every job I sold and received a P.O. for before leaving. I mean, after all, that was my job... What I got paid for... And he's still cashing the checks right? This is nothing short of theft and extortion. The owner likes to throw around the word "integrity" a lot. But this is just a word he likes to say.... Nothing more. Now my family is left to suffer just so he can rob me of what I have earned after I have made him millions over the years. Is this the kind of person you really want to do business with? Also, over half of the reviews on Google are fake. Made by our friends and family members to boost his reviews. He would have us get our friends and family members to do this all the time... Dishonest? Now the owner will reply to this and try to refute this.... If he can't get it removed completely. And I really hope he does so you can judge his "reasoning" for yourself. But it really is simple. I was a commissioned salesman. My job was to sale... Not manage projects. There are project managers for that. I did not receive a salary or hourly paycheck. I am owed every dime of commissions from the jobs I sold. And after the years of service and the money i have made this man and the growth he has enjoyed because of my hard work.... I deserve better from a man who constantly throws around the word "integrity". He obviously has none.

All of the staff in here need a drug test. Lots of marijuana smoking it seems. They are frequently forgetful, route packages to the wrong locations, this place sucks.
