Lines that go on forever, and are so slow that a bottle Heinz ketchup flows twice as fast. Thankfully, a friend of mine told me about this place on M-17, just west of Golfside Road. I needed to mail a package to my friend in Tokyo, so I went to the local post office on my day off, and there had to be nearly 50 people waiting in line. Then I remembered Goin' Postal was right near a specialized grocery store that I really like on M-17. So I left the line behind and drove out west of town. Was I ever lucky, I was the only person in line, and after I filled out my customs forms, purchased some stamps I was right out the door in less than 10 minutes. The staff at this place is very friendly and gave me several shipping options to choose from. I can just imagine as I drove home, most of the people in that line at the local post office were still waiting in line to be served. That said, I was amazed that my package arrived within a week. I highly recommend this place, as they are faster than the local post office, and they don't have the attitude that some of the postal workers have.

Everything from antique heavy AF mirrors and artwork that had been passed down in my family to a basket of notes from me in 7th grade. It was a hot summer day and all I wanted to do was to unload this stuff and get to the lake house! I created a section of my stuff to ship in the back of his store and just left it and he was going to provide a quote. NOTHING was packed. My last words to him were, just pack everything so it doesn't break and ship it slowly which I thought it would be less expensive. He provided my a quote within hours, and while I gulped at the price, I knew it was fair. He also said it would be cheaper to send on a palette and deliver to a work address. So we did that as well. Four months later, I am finally getting around to unwrapping the shipment and I am so impressed --it must have taken him HOURS to pack. It was pro job.

The manager (and owner I think) was thorough and helped me complete necessary paperwork before he carefully wrapped my goods with bubble wrap and put it in the shipping box. The international shipping prices are not cheap. However, the gentleman who took care of my order gave me a generous discount which I really appreciated. The building is clean, organized and it seems relatively new. There are desk top computers with printer access available for rent. There is a private parking lot in back of the building and plenty of street parking is also available. I highly recommend Post Express for your domestic and international shipping needs.

The next time I took pre-labled stuff to my favorite UPS Store (Brighton) and told the guy what the Plymouth Rd guy said. The Brighton UPS rep said, "Yeah, that's not a thing. You always get a receipt if you request one." Go to the Brighton UPS Store. They are the best. Really.

WORST service delayed my refund by 3 weeks. They did not place the new shipping label over the…read moreoriginal label--they used it to close the bag. So the package was returned to me. When I tried to have it returned, I had to call the vendor to issue a new return label and invoice. When I asked the UPS clerk if they could print these, he said it would cost me $6.40 to use their computer, print and retape the bag. It was due to THEIR mistake of using the return label to close the bag to cause this whole turn of events! Incompetent and unwilling to acknowledge that they caused me this problem. I don't trust that they can ship reliably. Never using this store again--I trust the store across town and I will use them going forward!

We decided to search for another company. We found Bob Horn from mailboxesbybob.com. He contacted us quick, asks us to send pics of the mailbox and replied promptly after receiving them. He not only replied quick, he came out two days later(today) and replaced the mailbox. The work was so nice. I rarely write reviews but I felt the need to do so because of the professionalism, price and demeanor. Bob was busy with other contracts but came out immediately to replace the boxes. He was very polite and reasonably priced. I will recommend him to anyone who needs to replace their mailbox.
