I had a truly wonderful experience with this UPS store, they were incredible! After cleaning out the storage space of a loved one who had passed away, I dropped off a number of delicate and oddly-sized items to be shipped to multiple addresses. Erica, in particular, went above and beyond to help me out--she packaged everything expertly (a feat for some of the more delicate collectibles!), gave me honest advice about the price of shipping different groups of items to different locations, and kept everything organized as we figured out the best path forward. When it was time to ship the various batches, she checked in consistently, helped me troubleshoot some day-of issues, and made sure to get the correct payment info for different shipments. Everything arrived on time and in tact, at a reasonable price! More than that, Erica and everyone else at this location were incredibly kind and patient as they helped me figure out a very complicated project. It's not easy to deal with the things a loved one leaves behind, and I don't think I could have managed with out the compassion and expertise of these wonderful folks. Dropped off 8 packages for Amazon today, Unfortunately, only 7 were scanned in-house. (My major mistake was not checking my receipt before leaving the store). An hour later, I caught the problem and spoke to the owner immediately. He was dismissive, rude, and unhelpful. I came up with several possible solutions to rectify the situation, to which he repetitively commented, "You can't prove to me you dropped off the package". I asked to speak with the employee who scanned everything (but one) as he would remember me due to his comment, "you're so organized". The owner left me on hold and never returned to pick up the call. My warning...The owner is superficially friendly when all is well. However, I've witnessed him loudly arguing with another customer in the store just 2 weeks ago. I went in this morning to get some copies made and I clearly explained to her "I need this packet copied as it is and I need the 2nd packet copied 2 sided" I explained it to her twice and she said she understood. she still copied them one sided and said "that's how I gave them to her" I had to explain it a 3rd time and she then printed both copies on one side. They then tried to get me to pay for them to shred the copies they made wrong. also other places I've been to charge per page(paper) and they charged me per side. when I mentioned it the guy who works there was very nasty and rude. I will definitely be going somewhere else from now on. read more

This location is horrible. The staff are completely clueless and useless. The woman who does the notary has no idea what she is doing. I have been in there twice now to get something notarized and she has refused to do it based on the content of the material. Clearly using her own personal preferences and opinions on what she will notarize and wont. Just avoid it. Save yourself the hassle. read more

The UPS store in Hopewell is my go to shipping source especially when returning Amazon items which is an ongoing process. The staff is pleasant knowledgeable and efficient. I am usually in and out in under two minutes also owing to the bar code return system employed by Amazon They graciously package any items brought by folks who do not have the original box or bag and do so pleasantly This us unlike the Ups store in Fishkill where I witnessed staff telling a patron that they will only package small items and the customer must buy the packing tape from them otherwise it's a no go. Hopewell staff are all great. You can't go wrong there and it's in the Acme plaza with plenty of parking only yards from their door. Keep up the good work guys, you rock ! read more

l was at my first day of work told to ship something for them. I expected guidance with printing a label and getting it out from the woman at the desk- i thought wrong. She didn't even speak to me just pointed at the computer. After paying to use the computer, and then paying again to print a label off ups.com - like i could've done for free at work. I handed her the envelope and asked her to check i had done it right. she seemed annoyed and said yes. After returning to work they were confused - UPS doesn't ship to P.o. boxes. Now i'm confused because i'd just given her the letter and asked if it was good to go. Drove right back and now there are 2 employees absolutely not happy to see me. i asked for the package back, as they wouldn't even deliver it. I expressed my frustration wondering why they would even take it from me if it was undeliverable and they are apparently known for not delivering to p.o. boxes. Well i was met with absolutely attitude from both workers who tried their absolute best to make me feel stupid despite the fact that i don't work at ups and don't know about the p.o. box rule and they do. I told them i need a refund for the postage and they referred me to call ups - they can't help me with that. Now i wanted a refund for using the computer and printing a useless label and honestly for their complete lack of help. They got upset with me and raised their voices way before i even got to that point. I was shocked, other customers in the store were too. Perhaps they were upset i pointed out how terribly they were doing their jobs. It wasn't worth it to stand there for another second and it took me 3 separate calls to ups to get the full refund they ended up charging me 4 times. I don't know if that was a separate issue with the system or customer service worker i dealt with on the phone but either way what an awful experience. Just print a label at the library if you don't have a computer and drop it at a box this place is not worth it. read more

My elderly father went in yesterday to get a document scanned and emailed out since it was time sensitive. This location charged him $43 to do this simple task. We have been using other UPS locations to scan and email and the charges have been conservatively less than $10 each time for the same job/same size docs. Either their pricing at this location is astronomical or they just took advantage of my father. Please beware and ask about pricing first! read more

I went into the store today for Notary services. There were 2 people ahead of me and 2 people working. I was asked what I needed , I asked for a notary. The woman said it would be about 10-15 minutes. I said ok, I will wait. A few more people got in line behind me. She helped the next person, then he helped someone. I said who is the Notary, she said she was . But she needed to assist some customers behind me. I said well I am also a customer. I then left. She was rude and I will not return. read more

There's not much to say: small store, conveniently located, often open when the USPS is closed for holidays. A little tricky to find because it's in a plaza that's set way back from the road behind another plaza. But once you know where it is you're fine. Plenty of parking, which is also nice. Good solid option for shipping. read more

The worst run business ever. The woman in charged filled out my international shipping paperwork incorrectly causing a customs delay my package never made it to my 13 year old son in Spain while he was there for 5 weeks. She provided no help in trying to get the package delivered. The package returned home 10 weeks after she accepted my $600 for expedited delivery. After speaking to several people at UPS they explained the error in her paperwork. She refused to offer a refund. Do not use this place. Camelot across the street is way better. I am out hundreds because of her incompetence, a true business owner would try to help resolve a situation like this. read more
