It's always a joy to do business with them. They have all the office equipment that for the most part, I don't use that often and it wouldn't pay to have on hand. I used them for a cross-country shipment of multiple art pieces won at an auction. They were reasonably priced, very communicative, quickly processed my shipment, and the packaging was very professional. The works of art were very fragile and included glass. All arrived in perfect condition. Finally, they did not over-tape all the packaging making it impossible to open. I am not sure if this is under new ownership or they just have a completely new staff but I will say I used to enjoy doing my business here and in the past 6 months or so it's more aggravation. They need to take a class in customer service because the service is rude and one kid in particular either hates his job or is just a miserable person. I've been doing business with this UPS Store location for years and I've always received professional and friendly service. Prices are reasonable and the staff is kind. The manager is especially knowledgeable and willing to help. I've been having notarizations done at this UPS Store quite a bit and the manager always informs and walks me through the process in a calm manner. If something is wrong with a place I have no problem calling it out. With this business everything I've seen has been done right. i simply called to ask if they give out money orders, and i am prompted by a robot for 15 min about useless wuestions and information since i only have a simpke question to ask that the robot doesn't recognize. then after trying to get where i need for so long they tell me it will be a 40 minute wait to speak with a person... i looked for my local usps and it gave me the same generic phone number no matter whice postal service i called and instead of allowing me to connect with a real person at my local offic, they have me speak with a useless robot for 20 minutes where it doesnt help at all. allow me to connect directly to the post offuce i need so i can get information quickly instead of forcing me to use a souless robit with useless question prompts that aren't helpfu. read more

I had to return a defective computer, and I was e-mailed a return shipping label. I have had always outstanding experiences with UPS. As a 64 year old woman, I am not the most tech savvy person. The young man showed me how to get on UPS' Internet connection as a guest, and thus we were able to download the shipping label. Learned how to help myself next time. We needed a notary and made an appointment online the day before. Arrived there and had the best service! The notary was thorough and so friendly and helpful, he even made all our copies for us and helped us sort through the paperwork we had. The rest of the staff was very friendly too. I was charged $46 to have papers notarized: $6 for each page and $20 for each witness that I had to provide. According to the NY Notary fees, I should have been charged $2 for each witness. My bill for this service should have been $10. When I got home and called the store and spoke to the notary he basically said he can charge what he wants for witnesses. I am a frequent flyer at this UPS store. The owner Ramesh is an absolute delight and a beacon of light when it comes to customer service skills and professionalism. I come here for my copy, packing, shipping and notary needs. There is a review here by Emmanuel that is absolutely false. I was standing in line when he and his girlfriend were standing in the middle of the store inappropriately touching each other and displaying intimate signs of affection in a store where children were present. Needless to say at a time where everyone is practicing social distance. Best UPS STORE I have ever been to! Ramesh the owner creates a top UPS store because he cares. You MUST read this story, it could restore your faith in humanity! On December 26th I accidentally lost 3 work checks (total = $3,004.00) outside the UPS store in Fishkill, NY. It was because of RAMESH the owner there and an honest person that found the checks outside the store that I was able to get the checks back. Truly an unbelievable story. I dropped off a package to be mailed at the UPS store the day after Christmas and as I was putting the UPS receipt back into my wallet, the three bundled checks must have slipped from my wallet. An HONEST person in the parking lot returned the checks to Ramesh at the UPS Store hoping that they would be returned to their rightful owner. These checks were already endorsed by me I should mention! Which as you know means they were not impossible to cash at all at check cashing place. So the Honest customer gets credit but it was RAMESH who stars in the second half of this story. For an hour and a half, Ramesh tried all he could to track me down via the internet as my name and address were on the checks -but he could not find my contact email or number. Finally, he had the smarts to try to see IF in his UPS store database he could see if I had sent something from his store that would have my phone number on a past transaction. Luckily, he found it and called me and I went to his store and RAMESH gave me the checks. I was so elated! I had spent the past two hours looking for the checks and finally had contacted my bank and dug into my past invoices to determine which checks were missing and was ready to go into battle with the companies who issued the checks to see if they could begin the process of stopping the check payment and issue new checks. As the reality of this sank in, Ramesh called me. It was one of those things that makes your feel all is not completely lost in humanity. Ramesh is a kind and honest person who spent an hour and a half to help me where many people would have not done that. I am not a rich man and this was money I needed so I am so GRATEFUL to RAMESH and the honest person who helped me get the checks back! And beyond that, his demeanor is infectious as his staff is patient, extremely competent, and most of all, treat you with respect and take the effort to be pleasant. A++ read more

I chose this UPS store to ship an auction item. I gave a person named Renata the information on the item and received a quote of $331.44. While high, I decided to trust UPS. When I called to confirm I left my payment information with another employee and heard nothing for over a week. In calling back I received yet another quote from the manager, $401.00 to ship "fragile", which I gather means so it actually arrives intact. Why they would make this distinction is beyond me unless you are shipping a concrete block. I then spoke directly with Renata and expressed my displeasure with what feels like a bait and switch. She seemed receptive, although at first denying that she had left the original quote by phone, which I have a record of. She said she would pack it and then see what the cost would be. So I get a call back and the price is now $486.00! Since I am on the west coast and would have to call yet another shipper to pick up the item from this store, it seemed simply too complicated to throw more time at. I do feel taken advantage of. My advice, go anywhere else. read more

I needed to return a heavy package and the store returns page took me directly to the UPS site. I could neither print the label nor could I send the bar code to my phone. I could print the bar code from my lap top. I took the printed bar code to the UPS store and asked a clerk if I could use this printed bar code - not a bar code on my phone - and he said yes. The following day I loaded the 50+lb box into my car and went back to the store. I showed a different clerk the bar code and said I needed help carrying in the box. He said they wouldn't take the printed code, that I needed to put in on my phone. I explained this once and replied, again, that I couldn't get it on my phone and I couldn't print a label from the site. The clerk's attitude was, oh well, sucks to be you. I was dumbfounded. He was unwilling to help or offer a solution. He just said no, turned around and walked away and left me standing there! Completely and entirely rude. I was able to return the package by contacting the store's customer service. I have used this location to drop off labeled packages but I will never ever pay for service at this location again. They should train the staff so that they are all on the same page and learn how to treat customers, especially seniors. read more
