Hot off the press with this review because of the great customer service I received. I went in to exchange some Amazon packages and was helped by Mr. Ryan. The service I requested was super easy and barely an inconvenience. I was in and out in a moment. He was welcoming, professional and patient. Despiste the simplicity of things on the process end there's always variables I'm unfamiliar with and Ryan walked me through them no problem. The parking was easy and the store itself was very clean which I always appreciate. I was greeted as I entered and bid farewell as I departed. I use UPS stores a lot. You see, I am addicted to making purchases on Amazon. Most of my packages arrive as expected but some arrive damaged or the wrong item & it's been getting worse. I feel like I need a break from Amazon for a little bit. Yesterday they sent me a 25 foot stainless steel garden hose. I didn't order it, the mistake was on their end so they told me to keep it. Great, except I live in a condo & have no use for a garden hose. Today I had to send back a top because they sent me the wrong size. It's just so convenient to make my returns at any UPS store. And the good thing is that there seems to be UPS stores all over the place. I think we have at least six in Delray, maybe more. Amazon makes returns super easy. They email you a bar code & you take your package to the UPS store & they simply scan your phone. The UPS employee gives you a tracking receipt & your done. Super easy. Today I walked into this store and I was greeted immediately. Jona scanned my phone & I was in and out in a few minutes. I'm giving this store three stars for now. In my opinion, the store wasn't as clean as the other locations I have been to & I've been to several. I will be back next time I need to return another item. read more

I return all my Amazon returns at UPS. Very easy, quick, efficient & friendly. Every now & then Amazon makes returns at Whole Foods - ugh. Parking is a chore, waiting in lines & employees seem to hate doing these returns & it is not convenient ! UPS has so many locations - it is a no brainer !!! read more

Always a wait, even though there are three people working. The third--who couldn't care less about customer service or satisfaction--often stays in the background even though he sees the line of people needing help. Also, one or both of the others always seems to be involved in a complicated discussion with a customer. Whatever training the employees get isn't enough. On top of the slow, ungrateful service, costs are high and parking is limited at this location. I go only because it's very close to my house. If I knew of another along my route, I'd never go back to this particular store. read more

Lackluster experience. I stopped in at around 6pm to drop off a few urgent prepaid packages. It was important to get them out ASAP. All I needed as a receipt. Luckily the UPS guy showed up just as I arrived, so I fully expected my stuff to go out that evening. Then I watched as the 2 employees dithered around with their customers just long enough to ensure that my stuff did not go out. Granted, the customers were agonizingly slow too; they were making small talk and asking a million irrelevant questions. But, there was also no urgency on the staff's part to move things along. That was disappointing. As all of this was transpiring, I watched as the UPS driver took hand truck after hand truck of packages to his truck and then, poof, he was gone...and the clerks and customers were still at the counter trying to figure things out. I was disappointed and left with my stuff to mail it in the AM. One star. Not the place to go if you need to send out expedited packages. read more

Unbelievable, I just went to this location and the "manager" stayed on a personal call on the business phone taking about "he went off to college" "I take him out to lunch here and there but I don't ask him those questions." Meanwhile there's a line full of people, he is trying to multitask and keep the conversation while talking to his friend. Eric is the only employee really working and moving the line bc he's doing what he's supposed to and acknowledging the customer! I've also seen this manage be so rude to a little old lady in the past. Very disappointing this is the "manager." Eric should be and the other guy should be fired! read more

When the person who walked away while I waited in line on crutches came back I got the same rude and condescending comments. Glad this isn't my local store. read more

I have been coming to this location for the last year and a half since we moved to florida. I have only been to other locations but never again. They are so professional at this store. I was trying to to an Amazon return today and Curtis showed me how to change it on Amazon bc some of my returns were coming up to go to Whole Foods and i was panicking i have immune issues and after spending all day at the doctors I did not want to go to any other store just home. Curtis and geo made that possible for me and i am so appreciative and grateful for all their help every time im in there. They go above and beyond. They always great me and everyone with a smile. I went here to do Amazon returns. Leslie was incredibly rude and did not want to assist me because I didn't take pictures of my return codes and had to go into my email to get the next code. Getting the next code only took about 30 seconds. Refusing to serve me because I didn't take a picture of the return code ahead of time is horrible customer service, nor should it be required read more

Ever walk into a retailer happy and walk out aggravated because a simple request was against "policy?" Try going into this store and being told it's UPS "policy" to prohibit the customer's use of an envelope that didn't meet their standards. I was told that the drivers would refuse to accept it but happy to sell you an envelope for $1.99 that would be accepted. Do yourself a favor and go to the UPS Store off Military Trail.. That office is super helpful, know exactly what they're doing and doesn't try to upsell you envelopes (mine was accepted with no questions asked). read more

Just went there to do an Amazon return. It was one where the customer packs it. I thought it had just come in plastic but when I got there I saw there wasn't the shipping sticker on it. Explained the situation to the clerk and he said well it's a pack yourself and that's not how it came. So I asked to get a box. He responded by saying it would be at a charge. I said yes I didn't think it would be free. He measured everything and asked if I wanted them to pack it. Told me the box was $20 and to pack $20 so around $40 for a free return. I didn't even reply just walked out because I hadn't been charged anything for any assistance packing things before. I came back around 20 minutes later to find the woman behind the counter selling someone a box and packing it for them but she was only charged $9 for the box. The customer even thanked her for saving her $7 for the tape. I walked up and she says oh you found the box. I said I wasn't paying $40 for you to pack to which she agreed. I've been going to this location for a year now and have had other good experiences. There was no customer service today though. read more

Went in today. The two employees wore masks the whole time. Wore gloves the whole time. Very polite. Very efficient. There were signs everywhere "no mask no service". I felt very safe. I was very impressed with the service and the store was well lit, clean and organized. I'm going back here anytime I need UPS service. read more

I needed to print some documents, so I uploaded them through the website. I was informed that I will get an email shortly with my "manual quote". I never got this. I called the local store, and they employee said he was too busy to help me. Since then I have emailed the store 4 times with no reply. Now it has been 6 weeks and I never quote a price quote. read more

Mailed back some cable company equipment. Store had a sign that everyone must wear masks and honored it. All employees were wearing masks. Clean environment and very cordial service. Will be back again. read more

This was the worst experience I have ever had shipping something ,,,, of which I do quite often. I lost both my parents within 6 months of each other in 2016. My sister lives in Arizona and my parents and I live here in Delray Beach. My sister was not able to come to Florida to retrieve the items she wanted from my parents house so I took them to this location to be shipped out to her. These were items that cannot CANNOT be replaced. My moms paintings, her old recipe box with recipes she hand wrote on cards dated back to the early '50's, and a gorgeous antique table and many other family heirlooms. The 62 pound box was shipped on December 13, 2016. I am writing this on February 22, 2017 and the box has not been found, we have not heard anything about our claim for the items in the box and no one cares. Customer service was extremely cold, uncaring, and totally unwilling to help. Like I say it has been over 10 weeks and we still sit here with no information, no reimbursement, no one to talk to except the same corporate lingo of sorry we don't have any information. As for me I will NEVER use UPS again and I hope you don't either. Terrible company!!! read more

My mom paid almost $100 to ship a box of perishables from Delray Beach, Florida to Glendive, Montana with a "guaranteed" delivery by Friday evening using UPS 2nd Day Air. Unfortunately, there was a delay due to mechanical issues on a UPS plane and the delivery was delayed to Monday (2 days later, and 4 days since shipment). On Thursday, I called UPS on their 1-800 number and their representative was NOT HELPFUL. First, she didn't even acknowledge that the service I paid for was covered under the UPS Guarantee (which it is), second, she didn't apologize for the delay or acknowledge the new delivery date ("delivery is on time" it was not!), and third, she made every excuse possible when I inquired about the UPS Guarantee and receiving a refund on the shipping costs (well it's a mechanical error, what can we do about that?!). SERIOUSLY? Afterwards on Friday evening, I went to the UPS Customer Center in Glendive, Montana where the package was supposed to arrive and inquired about the UPS Guarantee. Without skipping a beat (or even checking my tracking number to see why there was a delay), the representative says "weather delays are not covered under the UPS Guarantee." I told her the delay was not weather related, but mechanical, per the UPS website ("A mechanical failure has delayed delivery.") Then, she says that UPS mechanical errors are not covered under the UPS Guarantee. I left the UPS Customer Center very unsatisfied and unhappy. If the UPS Guarantee doesn't cover UPS related mechanical delays, then what does it cover?! GRRRR! On Saturday, I called the UPS Store in Delray Beach where my mom mailed the package from. Without hesitation, the UPS Store representative researched my shipment, acknowledged there was a non-weather related delay, apologized for the delay, and requested for a refund of my mom's shipping costs. HALLELUJAH! A CHRISTMAS MIRACLE! Thank you UPS Store in Delray for acknowledging UPS messed up and fixing the error. My mom will be using your services again in the future. read more

From the moment we found out about the UPS pack and ship service, the service has been nothing short of perfection. Joseph and his staff were professional, helpful and most of all, sensitive and supportive during an emotional move. They arrived on time and were incredibly careful when handling each item. They treated each sentimental pieceas if it were their own. If anyone needs a service that provides packing and moving, call Joseph. He will not disappoint! Terrible. Walked in at 530. They close at 530. The store was empty. The employee saw I had a box of ATT receivers to return and told me since I had ATT stuff to return she couldn't help me because it took a few minutes to look up some things on her end. I asked her if she wasn't going to help me because it would take a few minutes and she said said the same things. Sorry we are closed. I repeated that it was 530 right now and she said yes we are closing now sorry. What a pathetic display of customer service. With all the UPS stores in the area they should be bending over backwards for business. Never again. This place sucks. read more
