Made appointment for Passport photo Sept 2, 2025. Once arrived at Boca Studio, there was no mirror for my height. He took one photo shoot, she proceeded to collect in advance, he gave me the photo, but no one mentioned photo showed my collar so so out of place; I had no eyeglasses with me to see it. Would you risk your professionalism for a simple second photo shoot? Once I paid, they just wanted me out. read more

The receptionist or employee who answered had a uninterested attitude about my inquiry and said No we don't . I then asked her if mabey she knew of a place in the area or in Boca Raton that did pro photo rentals and before I could finish the sentence she answered with a strong No can't help you ! My mother gave me this picture of us when I was a baby and I love the photo because there aren't many pictures of us together when I was a baby. The only thing was it was in HORRIBLE condition. As you can see, it looked like it had no hope to be restored. Since the photo was so hard to make out, I brought in another photo of my mom and me from about the same time and the finished product was even better then what the original looked like before it was damaged! I first met Steve 20-some years ago when I needed some professional photos. (This was back in the day when my clients needed actual pictures to put in their brochures for my appearances). I had made several attempts to get a decent shot to use in my work, but somehow the pictures always came out either too corporate or too casual, really unflattering, or just plain weird. Steve was the first, and since then (after he moved and until I found him again), the ONLY photographer who not only gets a decent photo of me, but somehow manages to capture my personality, strengths, and best features (such as they are) in the shots he takes. He twists me into some pretty weird poses to capture just the right posture and pose (one that doesn't LOOK posed). Even when I'm not crazy about the way I look in the mirror (which is much of the time and a whole other story), I always, ALWAYS walk away happy with the images and the "me" that Steve Bercovitch captures with his magic camera and incredible eye. He's offering a great range of services these days, so there are lots of reasons to go to the store. (We recently reconnected after years of trying to track him down, and I've made appointments to update my portfolio on my last two trips to Florida.) So if you need a really good picture, whether for a family memory or a professional portfolio, this is absolutely the place to go. PS. I recently took a large canvas that was very significant to me (taken on a memorable safari) to have mounted to Photo Pro Boca. They ruined the picture and flat out refused to properly fix it or remedy the situation. They were extremely rude to deal with and flat out refused to accept responsibility. It is very apparent that they do not care about customer service. I would definitely NOT recommend them for anything important, whether it be professional photography or mounting / framing pictures. They show no remorse for destroying a valuable picture of mine. Furthermore when I was in the Studio they were poking fun at some of their previous customers (whose pictures were displayed on their walls) who "did not follow their suggestions" for how to dress properly for family photographs and made another comment about how they had to do a lot of editing on another photo to "make the boy {his high school grad pic} look more handsome than he actually was". I did not think this was very professional. If you care about your pictures please stay away from Photo Pro Boca. I promise you they don't care. I will never use them again and would be remiss if I didn't warn others so they can govern themselves with this knowledge. read more

My kids (in college and high school now) couldn't make a move when they were little without me grabbing my trusty camcorder and taping them. I was Captain Video to my family and friends. But that first camcorder died at some point and the ability to play back the tapes died with it. I often vowed over the years to transfer the old 8mm tapes to DVD, but never trusted to send them out or give them to any store that did: It just never got done. So, I was shopping in the back corner of West Boca Place when I spied the sign "WE TRANSFER FILM & TAPES to VHS or DVD" in front of the Photo Pro store tucked away back there. I went in and checked out the price of $12.50 per hour, which is better than some well known chain stores who send your tapes out. I returned with three 2-hour tapes which I got back the next business day. Kind of a trial run. They came back great. We've had a real blast watching them the past couple of days. Talk about priceless. Captain Video will be returning to the Photo Pro with a shopping bag full of tapes very shortly. Photo Pro also does passport photos, enlargements, restorations and 1-hr photo development. I think you can count on them doing a very good job. read more

After Photo Pro Boca turned my old home video/cassette tapes into DVDs, my family was able to relive memories we never thought we'd see again - and in quality that might have been better than the originals. Also when I was looking for a new job, they took professional photos of me for my LinkedIn profile. Even now that I live in New York, they were still able to create a photo montage when I celebrated a recent milestone. Photo Pro Boca did a fabulous job enlarging a family photo for me. Rita at Photo Pro was amazing . One person on the photo did not look good so Rita took her head from another photo and replaced it on the family photo I wanted to enlarge. No one will ever know.
