Very disappointing experience at this FedEx location. I came in to return five items and the…read moreemployee working the counter was extremely rude, dismissive, and unprofessional from the beginning. Two of my returns had originally been shipped to me together in the same box. I did not realize the retailer had issued a separate QR code for one of those items, so I was briefly confused when I had an extra code. I apologized and was trying to figure out the situation, but instead of helping, the employee scoffed and walked away as if I was inconveniencing her. I ultimately purchased another box myself and separated the item so the return could be completed. She also printed several return labels at once without keeping track of which label belonged to which package, then handed the strip of labels to me and expected me to figure it out. She barely responded when we asked questions, walked away while we were speaking to her, and would not even help lift one of the packages, so we had to carry it behind the counter ourselves. What made the experience especially uncomfortable was watching how differently she interacted with other customers. I was the only customer when I initially walked in. Later, an older white gentleman came in to drop off a package and she immediately became friendly, conversational, and engaged with him. I observed the same friendliness toward the other white customers who came in, which was a very noticeable contrast to how dismissively I was treated. I cannot say what her intentions were, but as a person of color, the difference in treatment absolutely felt like a microaggression and made me question whether race played a role. I recently moved to Michigan from Los Angeles, and I am not going to ignore behavior like this when I experience it. Regardless of the reason, no customer should be treated as though they are a burden for asking for basic assistance at a shipping counter. The attitude and lack of professionalism were unacceptable, and I would not return to this location.

Have you ever heard of SpeedX? I had no idea what it was when I brought this weird looking label to…read morethe post office, and it didn't scan. My daughter has started selling enclose online, and this is one of the services they use. Fortunately, The Postal Shop is able to scan packages by SpeedX. Better still, they also accept packages from UPS and FedEx. This saves me 15 minutes each way going to the closest location for those services. And, of course, they also scanned USPS packages. As an extra bonus, the shop has cool, knickknacks, and snacks. The Farmer jack supermarket chain closed down in 2007, but they have a coffee mug with the logo on it that brought back memories. See if you can find that at any post office or UPS shop. They are also open on Saturdays, which most USPS locations are not. I will definitely be coming here again for all my postal needs, regardless of what kind of label it is.

He contacted them, started an investigation into why the package hadn't arrived by the predicted arrival date. This was an important delivery that I'd paid a premium amount to be assured it arrived on time . When UPS still wasn't able to follow through( most times they can deliver on time) and the delivery was delayed from Friday morning arrival to the following Monday, Seth informed me that he would fully refund my shipping cost. He honestly felt bad that the delivery was not on time. He OFFERED the refund. I didn't need to negotiate a refund. Today, I was taking a particularly long time to find the address I needed in my phone. The man who helped us (owner or manager??) was soo patient and showed my 3 year old some cute (and impressive!) magic tricks while we waited. My son thought they were soo cool and couldn't believe he made a couple items disappear. It was super sweet and made the time fun and easy. I use this location all year round and they always make it easy!
