I genuinely like this store & I'm there frequently. Their employees are great with 1 exception today. I had 6 boxes & they were quite heavy. When I walked in only 1 customer was at the desk. I asked where could I put my boxes down. Apparently asking that question ticked off the employee, Deyona I was a bit taken aback by her reply, look on her face & the tone "I'll be with you in a minute.' The employee next to her who was helping another customer very politely said "we don't talk to our customers that way." and she proceeded to clear the counter off. That employee did not have name tag on or I'd thank her here. Deyona processed all my orders but with every label she slapped it on & threw packages towards the back. No employee there has ever acted that way. I would normally give this store 5 stars but today it's a 2/3. I hope this issue gets addressed. read more

Absolute disaster. Literally their only job is to ship things correctly. I stood in there for 20 minutes potentially exposing myself to Delta variant COVID with an employee who had his mask down below his nose (the other employees did too) and multiple unmasked customers breathing down my neck behind me. I wanted to mail 2 things and include return labels so the recipients could return the amended documents back to me. The employee didn't know how to do this and took forever. He disappeared in back, apparently to call his boss. Finally, I signed the germy touch screen (I never saw anyone sanitize it between customers, in a pandemic) to confirm the recipient addresses were correct. I paid over $30. The guy apparently put the wrong labels on the envelopes because both packages got shipped straight to me instead of to the recipients. I had to call four times to get a person on the phone to ask them to send me the correct labels so I don't have to go expose myself to COVID again to get the problem fixed. The assistant manager told me he'd email labels to re-ship my items "for free." Dude, I appreciate the help getting this sorted, but this isn't "for free." I literally paid you $30 and you sent the things to the wrong address despite me confirming the correct ones. "For free" would be if you refund my $30 and then re-send the labels. read more

I needed a notebook photocopied, some pages duplex, some one side only. Ray J took the time to copy pages, in order, paying attention to how the pages needed to be copied. I have always had such positive experiences at this UPS. I'm shocked with the low Yelp rating. The entire staff are kind, patient, and outgoing with customer support. I receive most of my mail here, as such have been there more than a few dozen times. Every encounter has been at least 5-star worthy. I've even had the displeasure of witnessing the staff enduring rudeness and a few Karens. They handled every moment with grace. (And those clients are a rare event because the significant majority of the clients are well mannered and respectful to those around them. Went in to ship some suits off for a wedding wanted to insure it , repack and send off. Shipping date was for 4 days from now and that was fine price was about 72-75 dollars and that was also fine. What was not fine is being rushed beacuse the woman had child to pick up therefore we would have leave the store with no recipt and trust she would be back to pack and ship. I don't see how she could expect us to leave 4 suits and other high dollar items with no transaction processed. She did however care for 3 other customers when she hadn't finished with us. Send result took our packages back and went some where else. I'm sorry but if you are the sole person at a major store somthing is very wrong! A way to improve this is have 2 employees at the store so it isn't closed or hire some one who can maintain a quality of service and care for the customer. read more

I went there to ship something home. They would not give me an estimate on shipping price before they packed and boxed it. Once they provided an estimate it was too expensive but they made me but the box and pay for the packaging anyway. Terrible customer service and clearly does not care about doing the right thing. Totally awful, unprofessional store. Their hours are clearly posted, and their store is supposed to open at 8 a.m. I had packages I needed to mail today and only a one-hour window in which I could do it, so I arrived at 8:15 a.m. and the store was closed -- shut, dark, locked up. There was a man there too trying to mail something. We both tried calling the store number, which would ring a few times, say there was an error and hang up. I waited until almost 9, and no one showed to open. These stores are franchises, and the owner of this place unfortunately owns two stores in Columbus. I called the corporate office to complain, and was informed the stores MUST be open at the appointed time, and the person at that office said she would file a formal complaint. Later, I got a call from a woman at this store who sounded a bit put out that I had called corporate, but did apologize and said the person who was supposed to open the store had a "family emergency," and from what she said I got the sense this was a vague "my kid woke up with the sniffles" variety of "family emergency." She also said the store has been short staffed because someone quit. To the franchise owner who is making UPS look terrible: first, you run a business that people are depending on to be open when it says it will, period. As a business owner, you must know that your employees will flake out sometimes and you need to put systems in place, such as two people opening, so your customers are never left in the lurch. If an employee does call in sick because their kid's babysitter forgot she had a manicure appointment or some such thing, grab your to-go mug of coffee, get in your car and go open the store yourself. I rate them 1 star based on customer service. I was charged a dollar for one strip of tape. And when I asked to tape the other end of my small box, the lady at the counter wanted to charge me another dollar per strip! What is wrong with you UPS store lady. Have you ever heard of customer courtesy? Nonetheless, I payed a dollar for a strip of tape. But don't come here expecting good old American service because you'll probably have to pay an extra dollar for that too. Thank you. read more

I would give no stars!!! They were so rude and the lady put my small Carton Of Easter eggs in a box that could fit 12 and said that will be 40 dollars. I was like that's crazy called my mom and said the box is huge and way to expensive and the lady was like no it's not. I will NEVER use this store again. I wish I could rate them lower. I had an issue with a claim and the two ladies that work there are not helpful at all. They both changed their stories week after week. One day they would say the check was being cut by UPS and would be done in 5-7 days then after the 5-7 days past, they changed their story to "we don't know when it will be paid and don't have access to this" then one of them said, "well I don't have anything to do with claims." Yes you do! You represent UPS. This has gone on for over a month. Finally when I make a call to the main UPS and tell them that I was having trouble getting a straight answer then magically my check was available the next day. The owner Chris was nice and helpful but you REALLY need to do something with the employees. I will be sending a letter to the corporate UPS office as well.
