I needed help with my iPad. the store was completely empty with the exception of one person and this guy tells me I have to wait over an hour because they only have one working computer. Took iPhone in for a battery change. Staff fairly personable. When I picked up the phone, the screen cover was cracked. I told the clerk it wasn't cracked when I brought it in. He said well that sometimes happens with the tool we use to open the case. No offer to replace, no "so sorry". We purchase many laptops, computers, etc. from Graphicom in the past. Might not again! I recently attempted to take my iPhone 12 mini in for battery replacement. I was told to bring it and that would be no issue. When I arrive, they did not have this battery, and said that I would need to leave my my phone with them for 5 to 7 days. Later, I tried to simply pay for the battery ahead of time, so that I could bring my phone in once the battery arrived, but they would still not do this. I wanted to use a local business rather than a big box store, but this has forced me to go elsewhere with my business. read more

I used to like this place, until I walked in the other day and felt slightly belittled when getting a phone screen protector. ($44 I may add) There was a weird vibe, I was handed a single product without any other options and when I asked if they could apply the screen protector I was immediately told "they can do it , but you run the risk of us putting a bubble in it" and I was at that point confused on whether to allow them to help apply it or not??? Then they asked "unless you have a special machine you can do it yourself with" ????? Smartass? I was about to drive all the way to atlanta to get my MacBook Pro looked at, but was thankfully directed this way by a sales associate in Atlanta. The staff was friendly and knowledgeable. Honest repair guys, they could have charged me a lot more than they did but they didn't. Appreciate them!! They found out my hard disc cable is damaged. Hopefully it's an accurate diagnosis, will keep this review updated after this theory is tested. -- Update 6/11/18 I was able to obtain a new and unused hard disc cable on eBay compatible with my model and fixed it myself. In the last year or two, I thought I had found a good solution for my Apple device needs. Maybe I was mistaken today in thinking that I should call this business to ask a device support question. If so, it would have been infinitely more customer-friendly if they had nicely suggested that I call Apple support rather than acting as though they were annoyed by my call. I'm glad I didn't drive to the store, which I considered. The last time I was in the store for help with my iPad Pro that I purchased there, they charged me for assistance with something that Apple later said they should have provided at no charge. I've been burned by these folks twice. I won't return for a third time. Back to Best Buy for purchases and to Apple telephone support. They strike me as people who have after-hours parties to laugh at customers who aren't tech experts like they think they are. If that's the case, they shouldn't be so obvious. I'll take my business person (even though I'm not a technician) business elsewhere. read more

HORRIBLE experience. I bought in my MacBook due to charging issues. They said all i needed was a new charger so i paid 75.00 for diagnostic and 75.00 for a new charger. Took it home, and it still wouldn't charge. Called back Graphicom, they told me to bring it back. Had to get off work so i could bring it back. Was told it was another issue that would cost 883.00 (logic board), and i refused to do the service and would pick up the laptop, which wasn't an issue. Took it home for the second time, and i can't log in! I can't use the trackpad or the keyboard. Its BROKE. I was FURIOUS!! Called them back again, they said to bring it in for the third time. Mind you, I live no where near the area, it is a far drive. I ended up calling apple to file complaint and apple is fixing it for free as a courtesy. Spent hours on the phone with apple to do resets and nothing worked. I would advise EVERYONE to go send their products to apple, drive to Newnan or Atlanta to apple, or go to a third party shop. They were nice but i can't recommend them at this time. read more

While the technicians are very smart. I wish the owner would give them a class on customer service. In this time of Covid, no one was wearing a mask, no hand sanitizer. Everytime I go in there (the only place around so I have no choice) over the past few years. I've had my issue/problem eventually solved. But the customer service sucks. I called to get some assistance with my sluggish iPhone 6 Plus (because of the recent update) and the girl (who sounded like a confused 12 year old) answered the phone and basically didn't have a clue as to what I was asking about. I wanted to see if they recommended a battery change as suggested by others online. When I asked to speak with a manager or someone more experienced with the iphones and she told me that the technician couldn't assist me because he was "working on something" and giggled??? I asked to be placed on hold to speak with him or to leave my number for him and she then placed me on hold. It was then that I was graced by "Larry's" (technician?) sarcasm and complete disregard for a positive customer experience. I went in today after spending two years in the Peace Corps, during which time my 2010 MBA sadly kicked the bucket. All I wanted out of it was the harddrive (SSD), which is pretty simple to pop out. I asked the technician if I could borrow his screwdriver for five minutes while I took out the SSD in-store, no risk of stealing his tool. He refused. I clarified. He refused again. "I'm not in the business of loaning tools." A bit shell-shocked at such rudeness and simply poor business sense, I asked, "You would risk a bad review just to force me to give you my laptop overnight?" And here's where it gets really good. He says, "if you're so petty to do that, then yeah." The guy who has just refused to let me borrow a tool for five minutes, removed any chance of me ever doing business with GRAPHICOM again, and lost all of the remaining parts of my MBA that I would have left with him *for free,* accused me of being petty. Afterwards I called the store to see if I could speak with a manager or the owner. Turns out the manager/owner is also the technician I spoke with. Really just unbelievable. How could someone with such poor manners and poor business sense own a store?! This is not rocket science. A customer with a 2010 MBA is coming in to your store, dealing with the death of his sad little companion. He's clearly in the market for a new laptop, but first we need to get his data for him. Terrible experience. Customer service is terrible. I came in because of a broken iPhone X and the young man waiting on me acted as though they really did not need or want my business. He told me they "may or may not" be able to "get around to" me if I showed up "first thing in the morning". Of course this was the end of the day and he was very put off that someone would come in just before closing with an issue and he might have to stay a few minutes beyond closing time! I called Graphicom at 11 am requesting screen replacement information for my MacBook Retina Pro 15. They gathered all of my information and I was told that the technician was not there and that they would call me back. I called them back at 2 pm, and I was told that the Technician just got back and that they would call me in a few minutes with the information. Still no response at 4 pm, so I called them back and they asked for my information again. Completely, unprofessional treatment and I would never trust my MacBook in there hands for any type of repair. I would rather drive to Atlanta, or mail it off. read more

I came in freaking out because my phone wouldn't get past the restart screen& they plugged it up& started running me through all the possible issues but was providing the ways that they could fix it as well. They connected me to the wifi so I could use my ipad to talk to my parents while I was waiting& before I knew they had fixed the software issue! They were so nice& helpful& reassuring! Horrible service, unless you're buying something. I had a Macbook before I moved to Columbus, and it developed a black spot in the middle of the screen. I took it to Graphicom. One of the men who works there immediately told me the repair was not eligible for Apple Care repair because I must have hit the screen or done something to it. I did not. I had to call Apple, talk to a supervisor, and get them to agree to cover it under Apple Care. When I went back to Graphicom, the original man and another man who worked there seemed extremely irked that I had gotten the repair covered. They were both rude and almost hostile about having to do the repair under Apple Care, and they kept my computer for like a week. Fast forward a year or so, and I needed to upgrade my computer. Against my better judgment, I bought my new $1,800 Macbook Pro from Graphicom. When the power adapter frayed less than a year after I bought it, I called Graphicom, and they told me they could not get me a new one right away. They said Apple requires me to bring my computer and the faulty adapter in, then get the part mailed to them for me to pick up. Dreading another Graphicom customer service hassle, I called Apple directly. Apple called Graphicom, and Graphicom claimed not to have the part in stock. It seemed weird that they would not have a basic Macbook charger in stock. So, I got Apple and got to "overnight" me the part. It arrived three days later and was the wrong part. After spending an hour on the phone with Apple, I got them to call Graphicom and found out that Graphicom actually had the part I needed all along. It was just that the part they had was part of their "retail stock" which is different from their "repair stock." Finally, Apple worked it out to where I could get the part I needed that day at Graphicom. When I got to Graphicom, an employee told me to fill out a sheet of paper, grabbed my computer, hooked it up to something and closed out of Chrome without asking me. I had about 10 windows open, each with multiple tabs, for projects I was working on for my business. I complained to the guy that he didn't ask me if it was OK to close out of Chrome, and he shrugged and said, "I had to run the diagnostics." So, how about turning to me and saying, "I have to run some diagnostics on your computer. Could you close out of Chrome and Word?" But, I guess actually opening his mouth and communicating to me with respect and consideration would have been too much trouble. Again, I get the vibe that they're totally put out by having to do any repairs that are covered under Apple warranty/Apple Care. When the guy was done "running the diagnostics" on my computer, he replaced the defective piece on my cord, tossed the cord down on the counter next to me, and walked away. He didn't say anything, like, "OK, here's your cord. You're all set to go. Thank you!" ( Dear Graphicom: it's called basic customer service. Being polite to your customers. Speaking to them. Communicating with them. If you really want to go all out, you could say something like, "Oh, wow. You got a defective charger on the $1,800 computer you bought from us less than a year ago? So sorry for the inconvenience. We'll get this taken care of for you right away.") I asked a different employee, not the one who'd be so rude, if I could talk to an owner or manager or if there was some way I could leave feedback for Graphicom about how they conduct business, and he actually suggested I go to Yelp! I walked out of the store shaking my head in disbelief. Who tells an unhappy customer to go write a review online? I was so annoyed that I walked back into the store and asked to speak to the owner, Larry. I told him all about my bad customer service experiences and that I did not feel like a valued customer at Graphicom. He did listen, but did not seem to care. He did not apologize for the bad experiences I've had, or say anything to try to change my mind about Graphicom. I definitely will drive to Atlanta the next time I need anything Mac-related, and definitely will not go back to Graphicom. To Graphicom: basic customer service entails figuring out what your customer needs and working *with them* to make that happen. When I've tried to get things covered under Apple Care, I've felt each time that you were working against me to make it as difficult and time-consuming as possible for me to get what I needed. Basic customer service also involves speaking, smiling, greeting, communicating and exchanging basic pleasantries with your customers. read more
