Can't answer their phone. Seem to not be able to handle small packages. Sent small package on a Friday still hasn't hit UPS system on the following Tuesday. read more

The last time I went in the unmasked employee helping me was using his other hand to wipe dripping snot from his nose. I decided to give them another chance a year or so later and was met with pretty much the same scenario (different employee) who was also unmasked, rude and possessed zero customer service skills. Someone needs to remind the employees at this UPS that customers pay for their service and we have other options. I'm a business customer and will continue to use USPS whenever possible, I am always treated extremely well at the post office around the corner! read more

DO NOT USE THIS STORE! Went up there 10 days ago to ask about 600 copies I needed. Discussed it with young blond girl. Told her I had my own paper. Go back today and get told I can't use my own paper and have to schedule it. I need 600 copies today for something tomorrow. I did my due diligence. This place does not need to even be in business! I have been in this UPS place since my previous review, and was pleased to discover that everything was better. Until they sliced open my package to see if I was shipping a firearm about two weeks ago. At first, I was OK with that action. My husband was outraged, but kept his cool. I couldn't stop lamenting the packing tape and time I had wasted. I couldn't stop imagining other poor souls having to find another shipping service to avoid embarrassment. This is the best UPS store. I live in southern California. I needed to ship some things back. They were very helpful there. Gave me fantastic service, very friendly and knowledgeable. I highly recommend this store. Very conveniently located between Asheville and Waynesville. If you're a out-of-towner they will absolutely give you the best advice. Great hospitality. Search them out easy to find. Near other stores and lots of parking too. Have a big rig no problem huge parking lot to turn around and get back on the highway easily. So many supplies you really don't have to go to any other store for packing supplies boxes it's a One stop shop come with your things they take care of the rest! Great group of hard working folks. I will go back again if I'm in that area. I highly recommend. read more

Paid for a item to be packed. Should have done it myself. Basically wrapped in bubble wrap but not secure enough that the item wouldn't move around inside box. Had to open it back up and add more packing material for it to be secure. Fragile this end up stickers were placed on box with arrows facing he bottom of the box. Worst part was I was told after I paid for it to be packed that it would be a few hours before it would be ready. read more

Can't really rate when it's not open. Their hours appear random. The website says 9:00-1:00. Not open at 10:45.

No faulting the staff for friendliness but what's the mask policy in this place? Dude behind the counter didn't seem to own one; never put one on anyway. Then a customer shows up without a mask and is told by the other clerk (who did have a mask on) that they were "fine" to come in without one. I don't doubt it would have been awkward to turn the unmasked customer away when the other clerk wasn't wearing one but what are the odds that this high-traffic business will become a transmission source for Covid if the use of masks is essentially a joke? What is corporate policy at UPS on the general practice of wearing masks, and does that policy change in states like North Carolina where masks are mandatory? Not much chance that I'll go back there; if I end up contracting Covid I hope to do so in a less mundane situation than shipping a box somewhere. read more

Staff doesn't have on a mask half the time when I go there. Any comments get a snarky remark. Calling the company to complain doesn't help. They say they allow their employees to be unmasked for any reason without explanation. read more

I signed up for a mailbox there not long ago and they've already made mistakes twice, each time requiring me to make a wasted trip down (once for a package they said wasn't there but was, and once for a package they said was for me but wasn't). I went there twice to get a document notorized, only to have the staff go in the back to see if the guy was available. I was given the exact same response, "he left 15 minutes ago". Frustrated, I asked if there was a special time I should come back. It is listed faintly on a sign that he is available until noon, but clearly he was in the back and didn't want to be bothered. Perhaps he should either have other staff members become notaries, charge more for the "inconvenience", or maybe get out of the business all together. P.S. It's not cool to put your staff in the position to lie for you. read more
