Love this store. The prices are always cheaper than Michael's Craft Store by a lot! The employees are consistently knowledgeable and nice. I shop there maybe every other week sometimes more so I'm there often. The store is always clean and organized. Easy to find what you are looking for. Bathrooms are clean. I've had items custom framed there and they did a fantastic job. I only wish their yarn department was bigger but that was a corporate decision and not this store's. read more

I come to this hobby lobby all the time since I live off airport rd, so this review is a long time coming. The majority of the cashiers are always very nice. But the employees working on the floor clearly always hate to be there. They do everything they can to avoid helping customers and if you pass them in an isle you better get out of THEIR way quick!! I get having a short time to put up merchandise and wanting to get your tasks done but let's not forget why you have your job. As a person that works in customer service daily I never forget who I'm thankful to for having my job; the customer. Today, an employee (looked to be a manager) almost hit myself and my special needs friend with her cart and we quickly moved out of her way as she huffed at us afterwards. And I promise she didn't clock in at 5am like I did this morning at my other job and I was A LOT nicer. read more

I love the items and the deals in this store. There is always a coupon to use or a sale going on. I especially love when Christmas blows up in here. The staff is friendly. The computer systems are dated...everything has to be rung up by hand...like in the olden days. Time moves a little slower in here, but I'm good with it for the price! read more

8 employees, one counting money, one at the register checking out a customer, only that one register open, 6 employees standing around, line growing longer and longer....not a good look! It took forever to get checked out! Not a good experience! read more

Timothy in the framing department is amazing! I have four vintage/antique tapestry pieces framed by him now. He takes such good care of the items and has a lovely eye for recommendations of colors and framing. Each piece has turned out gorgeous and he is wonderful at matching the thread to secure the tapestry. It blends in seamlessly with the artwork! read more

Very very rude employees. Susan checked us out and was rude to every single one of us. Talked back when we questioned anything. Wasn't going to even wrap or put a picture frame in a bag. Her friend was wrong on a price and when we questioned the sign in the back she got an attitude about it. Then when they went back and checked it out Susan took it upon herself to go and gossip and talk about customers IN FRONT OF OTHER CUSTOMERS with customers in line. Dana, who seemed to be "in charge" of the front, did absolutely nothing. So she lets employees talk about customers in front of customers and gossip. Susan has a bad attitude every single time I've been in there and is never nice. There's a difference between professional and there to check people out and whatever attitude she has. Susan acts like everything you say, ask, question, or comment on is a personal attack on her and she has to take it out on you. If you see her checking out go to the other line. Dana needs to get better control of the front end and make sure that the employees are doing their job instead of standing and talking about what's happening. No where can you post a review or write to Hobby Lobby about this which makes me think they just don't want to know how their stores are doing. read more

Hobby Lobby is like the holy grail of craft stores! They have seriously everything you could ever need for crafting. I usually go to Michaels because it's close to my house, but decided to go to Hobby because it was closer to work. I was not disappointed. I gave them 5 stars because their selection is unbeatable! It was significantly greater than Michaels. The employees were very helpful, and there was always someone close by to assist me if needed. I ended up buying way more than I needed for the project I was doing, but it was fine because they have a great return policy. You get a full 90 days to return whatever you need and they put it right back on your card (if you paid with card). You can definitely spend a lot of time in this place, so I would recommend making a list before you go and sticking to it! read more

Amber, the manager at the Arden, NC location has some HORRIBLE customer service issues. She is very unprofessional and has a very poor attitude. Asked for a manager and she said she IS THE MANAGER, and if we didn't like her attitude we could leave. read more

Amber, a "manager" - I use that term very loosely in this case - is the RUDEST , SNOTTIEST , WORST EXCUSE for a manager I have experienced in a long time. Based on the other reviews on here it seems the Arden, NC location has some SERIOUS customer service issues. read more
