Fun place to shop. They have so many different items that you don't find at many other stores. We were going to Target to buy water for our hotel room, but then ended up in World Market. They had their own brand of water, which we purchased so we didn't have to go to Target afterall. We also left with some other goodies. I can see it being kinda crammed if it were busy, but we were there on a weekday afternoon so it wasn't. A good place to kill some time and spend some dough. read more

Really love this chain of stores- great little gifts at affordable prices. Adore the wine and snacks section and I feel they have really expanded their homegoods section recently (at least this location did!) Easy parking and very sweet staff. When I was here recently I was shocked to see only one register open as it was holiday season. The line was lone and slow moving. I purchased lots of little goodies and snacks for a host gift and was not disappointed! Loved the selection and layout. Super easy to spend lots of time browsing the aisles. read more

Bottom Line: Kinda like Pier 1 but more of an Anthropologie feel with reasonable prices. Food, wine and beer too! Ahhhh, this is a fun store with lots of square footage of goodies. Although the imported furniture here probably takes up more space than other items, there are cool items around every corner. I love that I am greeted by fun jewelry and cool scarves. From there I enjoyed moving on to scented candles, beautiful curtains, comfy wing chairs and silly toys. I love pursuing the grocery section for some cool imported food items, unique beers and reasonable wines. One of my favorite sections is kitchen wares. Here they have trendy items like owl cookie jars and cute butter dishes adorned with little birds. Many of the items in this section remind me of housewares at Anthropologie but at a much more reasonable prices. I also always check out the cards and grab at least a few funny or quirky ones. read more

Worst bathrooms ever. I don't recommend a place that can't keep the shared areas clean for the customers. You can afford a cleaner.

We discovered today that World Market is no longer worthy as a place to shop. So much for discounted prices and price switching. We had a birthday coupon for me and went into the store to shop. Saw the Oona 12 inch wood pellet pizza oven and was going to buy it. No price tag actually on the box but there was a display schematic sheet on the counter. We asked an associate if the price on the display sheet was correct as the gas model was listed with another price but that box had a sticker on it. The associate agreed that the price on the sheet ($249.99)was correct but then comes the manager who swiped the display sheet away from the associate and told us in a snobby manner that the price on the sheet was not the retail price. When David pointed out that the price on the display sheet matched every item on the display she just walked away. We had a buggy full of other goodies as we were going to use my birthday coupon. Well, guess what.... The buggy AND the pizza oven were left behind. A couple next to us overheard the entire conversation and left their buggy behind too. That buggy was filled with 3 cases of wine and several charcuterie assortments. The gentleman said he was a share holder in World Market with 250 shares and that he was going to have a "chat" with Corporate over the manager's rude behavior at the top of her lungs to a customer while his wife said she was going home to cut up her World Market card. Oops??? And by the way, we have been shopping here for years. Have bought furniture, plenty of wine, lots of food treats, and presents for family and friends. We were pleased and surprised with the spacious layout as my hubby uses a manual wheelchair and have had issues shopping in the store before. The manager really surprised us with her attitude today. So all my shopping $$$ is going elsewhere. read more

I love the finds at World Market...I usually wait until big items are on sale or I check the clearance section to see if there are things I can tweak to fit what I'm searching for. I love to go to World Market when I'm looking for a special food item when cooking. My kids love to go and find a crazy candy they've never had before. The prices can be steep, but there are often sales going on throughout the store. The staff is helpful and friendly! read more

I am very disappointed in World Market there olive oil which I have been buying for over 10 years and three different states went from 699 to 999 my wife and I and her parents and my parents and our brothers and sisters one long will be shopping there, we'll find another place to buy olive oil. If I was a twenty something bachelor again, this would be more store. I would come here, drop some cash and furnish my apartment. Furniture, rugs, pillows, dishes, glasses. This place has it all and stylish to boot. Not your average chain store. I also much prefer this place and it's prices to Pier 1. Love the gourmet food section and beer/wine area.The furniture you get here is not going to last you as long as quality Pottery Barn stuff, but you get what you pay for. Well, it's World Market, a chain store that you are most likely already familiar with. They are all essentially the same on the inside. I will says it's a great resource for the holidays. They have tons of fun, entertaining accoutrements as well as gifts for anyone you can imagine. Reasonable prices and everything from furniture to a huge wine/beer selection. I typically really like this store. In fact, my husband and I have shopped here a lot and spend a LOT of money here. We have several rental properties around town and always need home goods for them. We'd seen some things we liked for a remodel we are working on and came in to get them, and look around for some more things on our list. We came in an hour before closing. My husband desperately needed to use the bathroom and made a beeline for the restrooms. He came back to where I was shopping proclaiming they wouldn't let him in the bathroom. A nearby employee simply stated the bathrooms were closed. When he asked why she explained somebody was cleaning them. He said ok, I'll wait a few minutes (thinking surely he'd be allowed in). NOPE! Despite several customers in the store the bathrooms were closed early and tough luck to customers. When he inquired about using the bathrooms with the staff at the front of the store he was told to go next door to Ross. He did and Ross graciously let him in their bathroom. Needless to say after that very poor customer service experience we made our purchases elsewhere the next day. read more

I was charged twice for a toy I bought 2 days ago, I spent 80.93 total and used one coupon 10 dollars off 30 spent. After coming back in to get the refund for the overcharge with Doris the cashier, she refused to refund the total cost of the toy 6.99 and only 6.19 was refunded. I am not happy that I was jipped with an attitude of laziness. Let's do some math folks. The 10 dollar discount should be applied to the 30 I spent. However, per there policy if you return something( granted this wasn't a refund for a retuned but for a mistake made by the cashier for charging me twice for the same item) you loose the discount even though your purchase still qualifies for the full discount. So 80 cents of my 10 dollar coupon was not applied for a purchase totaling 73 bucks. So the ideal thing to do is if using your coupon $10 off a $30 purchase coupon, is to purchase only a max of 30 bucks of stuff and then make another transaction without any coupon and hope the odds are in your favor if you need to haul yourself back if they overcharge you for an item and hope to get the full worth of what you paid refunded. Math is not their strong suit. read more

Love this store! My husband and I shop here often. Great about working with you if something happens to product. We bought our dining room chairs and many other home decorations from here. FUN STORE..... BUT.... Very very poor customer service from a floor manager on duty. I was attempting to purchase an item for my daughter that was thought to be on sale based on; 1 - the store sale sign that referenced the product by name and 2) a conversation with a very polite sales associate who was helping us. After waiting for over 10 minutes in one of the 2 lines open, the product did not ring up on sale. The very nice checkout associate called for a manager (the third manager call while I was waiting). A very frustrated and rude manager came to assist the checkout clerk in line one and then to help the checkout person assisting me. The sales manager was rude, condescending and stated that even though the sign said one thing, that he had to go by the SKU number on the bottom of the sign. When I stated that I do not read SKU numbers he said that he did not care what I thought and that there was no way that he would be bothered to honor the written portion of the sign or help me further as he had better things to be bothered with. I declined to purchase the other items that I had intended to purchase and left. Too bad.... fun stuff inside the store. read more
