I recently called about shipping a package and the person I talked to was very rude and sounded completely disinterested and like he wanted me to get off the phone as fast as possible. When I asked to talk to the manager since all the info I was asking for he had no answer to he said they were not available when I asked when they would be available he said he was the manager and hung up in my face. Phoned about having a from notarized and was told to just come in. When I arrived there was no notary on premises and was told he went home for the day at 11am. I went home and scheduled an actual appointment online for the next day at 2:30. Once again was told that the notary had left for the day. No phone call or even an as much as an apology. read more

If I could give this store '0' stars I would. Save yourself the trip here and go to Blue Ash. I'm from out of town and on business. I walked in to the store and the gentleman was on the phone (which is fine); he asks me what I'm shopping (I had something I obvioisly needed boxed and shipped) and I told him. He immediately goes back to his call, turns his back to me and sits on the phone talking to someine about changing his will and some other legal documents (which are all in front of him btw). Never acknowledged me again. I waited between 5/10 mins thinning he'd jump off the call - he didn't - so I grabbed my stuff and left. If UPS corporate reads reviews; you need to do a better job vetting, and training these owners (he was clearly an owner operator). This was absolutely rude and a black eye on your reputation. I'm not one to leave yelp reviews, but it you want to ship anything potentially breakable, do not use this place, and NEVER let them pack anythin! My mom send me an side table she had refinished. The store packed it. They literally just stuffed in in a box that was almost smaller than the table,, no bubble wrap around it to protect the contents, not even some paper. It's a miracle it didn't arrived smashed to bits, as the box as also torn and dented in multiple places. They do not know how to pack things. read more

Every time I run in here for anything that I need, they are polite, extremely friendly and obliging. It's my go to for anything shipping, printing and copying, when I can't get to my office. I normally do not write negative reviews , I try to just assume maybe someone was having a bad day but this is the third time I've had a terrible experience at this location. I came into ship back a subscription monthly box that comes with a prepaid label, IMMEDIATELY I could tell this was going to be another terrible interaction. He tries to scan my package then says he can't that the print was thin on the code and couldn't scan so I would need to go home and reprint, I know you can type in the numbers manually, he refused to do this so I left and went to another UPS and they had no problem shipping my package and were very kind! they didn't even say anything about the label! The man working in this store is not only unprofessional, but also just outright mean and dismissive. He knew he could manually type in the numbers to scan but refused to do so. Went there today and had the worst experience I've ever had. Here's what happened. I first showed up at the Montgomery UPS store and outside they were cleaning right outside the store and the cement was drenched with water. The employee had to think about getting the door for me. I'm carrying a 50 pound box that was around 21" cube dimensions. I go inside and the employee there approaches me and the phone rings. He's on the phone for 10 minutes and finally starts helping me. After another 10+ minutes of asking questions he informs me he doesn't know how to ship my box and I'll need to go to another store. He didn't even ask the other employee if he could help me out when he seemed more experienced. I then had to travel another 15 minutes to get to another UPS store where once again the first employee didn't know how to ship my box but at least he got his manager who helped me and did it in 5 minutes. Worst experience ever. I don't think I've ever been to a shipping place where they don't know how to ship my box. read more

Prior to going to this UPS Store to ship an item, I used the UPS website to calculate shipping costs. It showed that it would cost $56.10. I had estimated the weight of the package to be 13 lbs. When I went to this "UPS Store", I was charged $81.42. I asked what the weight was, and it was higher 14.5 lbs. I couldn't believe that an additional 1.5 lbs would cause such an increase in cost. When I got back home, I again used the UPS.com pricing tool online, and even with the additional weight, the shipping cost was STILL $56.10. I called UPS's customer service line, and was told that as this "UPS Store" was a franchise, they can "SET THEIR OWN PRICING". I find that outrageous. UPS told me to get UPS's pricing, to print a label at home, and request pickup by a UPS truck. In short BEWARE, that this "UPS Store" will price gouge you !! Never again !! read more

So right now I am so baffled by the way I was treated by the UPS employee. I had my two 5 pound dogs with me on a walk as I wanted to drop off my mail, so I opened the door, and out of courtesy, did not even walk in to the store and ask the employee where I could drop this off. he gave me a dirty look and kind of brushed me off. I went here to return an item that I purchased through Amazon, as I could not return it at a kohls due to the size/value of the item. When I presented the package to the individual (potentially the owner due to the level of arrogance), the ups store worker stated (with a very heavy accent and language barrier) that there was an issue accepting the package. I asked why; being told that the box was damage and "I don't want to be liable for this package", even though UPS delivered it to me damaged, and had been taped back up. The worker/owner stated I must place it in a different box, I said why not the one it was originally shipped in, because it had fittings and was the correct size for all pieces and accessories within the package. I then asked for a box, and he hesitated before stating, "we don't have boxes that big". After this was said, I then asked if I could use a tape gun to fortify the packaged and it's damaged area. The ups store worker stated that "I cant, it's my tape, it costs money" and that I'd have to buy a roll of tape, within the store, without even confirming the item was going to be eligible to ship. Stay far away from this specific UPS Store. The new owner is the pits. He is not good at customer service skills at all. He takes FOREVER to get a shipping transaction through. So much, that I have seen customers walk out several times because they got tired of waiting. I had a gift to ship to NY which was wrapped so all I needed was a larger box to put it in , tape it and ship. I explained this to the young man working there and specifically said I'd prepare the box for shipment. I asked the ground rate and was told $19. I told him I needed a box also. He went to the back and got a box, taped it, then proceeded to put the gift in the box, tape it closed and announced the cost was $37! I stopped him and asked what happened to $19 plus the box. He said the box was $6, handling was $5 and materials(??? the tape!) another $6! I told him I said I wanted to pack it but he did it without asking. Guess he thought I'd just go along with this scam. I said I'd pay for shipping and the box, nothing else. He was genuinely surprised. I've heard stories like this about that store on the past so I was somewhat prepared but still quite surprised at how blatant he was. Don't hesitate to push back when something like this happens. Today I watched mike give excellent customer service to a women that was not tech savvy & just needed some extra attention to help her prepare her mailings... mike was so patient & kind to her! Then mike helped me make a copy for a fax that needed some adjustments!!!
