I had a nightmare of an experience at this UPS store today. I went in to return a bracelet I ordered off Amazon. It's free to do returns if you have Amazon Prime. I had the return label in an email on my phone. Last time I was there, the clerk just had me send the label to UPS and she printed it out and charged me a dollar. THIS time a different girl told me I need to use their computer-which there was a 2.00 charge for. Print out an 8x10 piece of paper-which there was a .20 cent charge for and then she would scan the paper and print a label for 2.50. I was like WHAT???? I told her that's not what they did last time(6weeks ago) I was here. She kept repeating the 8x10 paper thing over and over again until I got pissed. I then told her to just send it regular UPS and I'd just pay for it. She said it would be about around $5.00 to send(This bracelet is smaller then my pinkie finger and I brought my own mail envelope). I totally got pissed!! Told her I was taking my envelope to the post office--where helpful people worked!$&!! P.S. It only cost 3.00 to return my bracelet to Amazon- through the Postal Service. I had the best experience here. I came into the office 30 minutes before closing with multiple needs. Notary, printing, copying, etc. Ashley was so friendly and so helpful. She never made me feel like I was too much trouble (I was). She also was kind to, and patient with my son during the transaction. She went above and beyond, and her superior customer service was so appreciated. I went in at the last minute, needing various things and she took care of everything seamlessly. I went here to get professional service. It would have been better, and faster, if I had done it myself. I dropped off a printing project with my own specialty paper on a Friday and asked that it be ready by Wednesday. They told me this wouldn't be a problem. When I tried calling on Wednesday to see if it was ready, I kept on getting hung up on by the phone 5 times, so I went in only to find out that my project had been lost and the person who's supposed to do it was out sick. It was for a weekend event that Saturday so they offered to call her and get it to me by the next day. I agreed and was told it would be done by 2 pm on Thursday. When I didn't hear from anyone by 2pm I gave them a call at 3 pm and then headed down there only to find that the project had been done wrong. Completely different from what I had asked for, and barely usable. When I pointed this out, the CS rep tried to tell me that I hadn't left instructions, so I pointed her attention to the UPS order form I had filled out with the instructions. Very nice job all the way around. The packing of 2 desk chairs was done with care. Kiruu also contacted FedEx Freight for us when there was a problem with delivery of our boxes a week later. Second package within one week where the leave it at my house and I have a different address then the address on the package so why is it at my house. Please train your employees to use a gps and maybe read the address that's on the house read more

My stepchildrens mother is very ill. She lives in another state and wanted to get their passports so they could travel to Japan with her. Time was of the essence. We filled out the paperwork and brought it to the ups store to be notarized and sent overnight. The paperwork was signed But not stamped as notarized. Therefore. The documents were worthless. We contacted the ups store and the woman we spoke with was very helpful and kind. However, she was not able to refund the $70 overnight shipping. The reasoning was that the shipping was done correctly. My problem with this flawed logic is that we shipped a worthless document. They failed to do their job to begin with and the document had to be shipped a second time because of a notary that did not do her job. Makes absolutely no sense. Will never use this business again. This place is a joke. I came here with a pre-paid UPS return label for a Kindle and just needed to get a small box and packing material. They said they would do it for me, so I said ok. They guy then tells me that the total is $37. Yes, $37 for them to pack it. You can buy a new Kindle for $50. I asked if I could just buy a box and packing material and do it myself, that brought the total down to $27 for just a box. They said it had to be a special laptop box with a sleeve to hold it or the driver would not take it. No other option. I just said no and left. Went to a local postal store that ships UPS and paid $4 for a box and bubble wrap and they even packed it for me. They said that other people have complained about the weird requirements of the UPS Store and that they have never had a problem with shipping electronics via UPS. read more

Today I went into the UPS needing help, and a very knowledgeable UPS associate that goes by the name of cece gave me all the right direction. From helping me on the computer, helping me make the right copys I needed in order to get a Lifescan. She took my finger prints and got me out of there in the speed of light. So with that said I would like to give a very BIG thank you to her and the chico UPS store. And when your lookimg for a lifescan go there and ask for cece, she'll get you in the right place. read more

Poor customer service and bad pricing policy. I understand the need for a business to make money but charging you for things you didn't know you were being charged for at the end of the transaction is shady business. If they were upfront with their unusual costs I think more people would be leaving happier. I saw 2 people scoff and walk out because of how the employee there added unnecessary charges to their package. I was ready to pay a high price to ship my package when the rude checkout employee added 2 dollars for computer time that I didn't use, 10c for a label I didn't need, and 1 dollar to retape a box that I had already thoroughly taped before she ripped it open to see what was inside. Went to a competitor, who was friendly and not greedy, and I was glad to pay them an even higher price. read more

I used this USP Store for 4 1/2 months to send our son his resupply packages while he hiked the Pacific Crest Trail. Every package made it's destination, on time and in excellent condition. ¡Ay, caramba! This store is something else. We have been an ongoing, steady customer for many years. They used to be reliable, and up until the end of 2016 we had zero issues. The turnover is ridiculous, which might be why the customer service has taken a digger. We rely on them for our new employee live scans. Their one person (maybe two on occasion) who is trained to administer a live scan isn't available during set hours, which makes it very difficult to schedule on our end. Not to mention that often the background checks are held up because a number was entered incorrectly, which can cause a great delay (several weeks) in the new employee being cleared to work. God forbid we have the audacity to call and ask a question. You can almost hear the eye rolls happening on the other end of the line. They don't take ownership when mistakes are made, and lets face it... we all make mistakes, but professionals will own it and make it right. Very frustrating for businesses who are professional and expect the same in return. Definitely call around and check out your options for live scan services, as there has to be something better out there then the UPS Store. read more

This location does not know how to actually do finger printing. For the price of $40 they give you a set of smeared, and unusable prints. With the follow up of it's not their responsibility. DO NOT use them if you need actual prints! read more

Downhill....went to what used to be a polite functional place to send a package to ATT.Just spent 35 minutes in from of an "associate" while she tried to print a tracking slip. She never once acknowledged me or let me know what the problem was. Before I walked out with my unsent package there were 6 more people standing behind me, none were acknowledged. This store went over and beyond to help me. I was not feeling well and had a deadline to get 500 pages of very important papers to get copied, organized and mailed off. I remember going in to the store and I spoke with a gal by the name of Kiiu.. I asked her if she would be willing to take on this task for me...(it was a huge task preparing this paperwork, and I realize to organize, print etc; along with her having her own business to attend to, might add some stress in her day. I felt I was asking a lot.. However, she was very kind and I remember her stating, "It's my job, it is no trouble at all." She did a beautiful job, professional, efficient and very detail orientated. Something else worth mentioning...I purchased a stamp that same day and forgot it. I received a message from this same lady to let me know I had left stamp and she would place in drawer for me. One month later I went in to purchase stamps and remembered her message. Asked if Kiiu was here and mentioned stamp. Sure enough stamp was in drawer with my name on it.. read more
