The guys that work this store are the kindest and most helpful. I always have an issue finding my return labels or code and they always assist me in changing the location I mistakenly chose as Whole Foods. Highly intelligent and other services explained. I went to this location on 12/30/2024 at 12:30 pm and they don't know the procedure for Amazon returns. I reported it to Amazon and got a refund for the charge. We had a sealed box and QR code as instructed and the attendant insisted we pay for a shipping bag. This is not what Amazon had instructed and I have never had to do this at any other locations in the past. The man at the desk was rude and I wish I just left and went to another location. read more

Awful service. Smells like a sewage leak every time I've been in the building. Attempted to ship live fish per the instructions on the UPS website as I have several times at this location but was told they don't ship fish. After pushing back they said they ship fish but don't make the label. None of this is outlined on the very thorough UPS website or UPS Store website. In fact, it says the DO ship live fish. They continued to say that they are not the same as UPS. I understand they are a franchise, but why would their policies differ that greatly from UPS? I asked how to make a label in store and they refused help, referring me to make a label online. I told them I have received several packages of live fish from UPS and they insisted those must have been contracts with large pet stores (untrue in my cases). Even so, I'm not sure how that is relevant. Absolutely ridiculous and obviously uninformed on their own policy. They had nothing in writing to show just their own arrogance that they "don't do that". Updated review - after email correspondence with the store in question, I stand by my initial review that my delivery was refused by this location, which was confirmed by three separate UPS representatives (800 number, local shipment facility, and social media support). I looked at my call history and counted 55(!) calls made to this store during normal business hours to find out why my package was refused, and attempted to make four change delivery requests through UPS My Choice to have it routed elsewhere. Unfortunately my package was loaded onto a rail car and returned to sender despite every effort I made. I received notice that a package I requested be delivered was refused by this location for reasons unknown. Unfortunately, after calling their location for more than an hour during normal business hours, I gave up and contacted UPS customer service, and tried to find out why this location refused delivery of a small package, and returned it to sender across the country. UPS customer service said this location simply refused my package with no reason provided and returned it to sender, rather than have it delivered to any of the other dozens of UPS stores in the vicinity, or to my residence which is just down the street. Instead, they elected to return it 3,000 mi away for no reason. Absolutely terrible customer service, and there is absolutely no reason anyone should give this location their business. read more

The service here has always been outstanding. I am greeted by my first name and with a smile when I walk in. Sometimes it is busy and other times, not. I watch as the employees deal with some tough customers. It is amazing the cool heads the guys (at this time) behind the counter keep. Whether I am sending packages across the country, faxing, getting something notarized or sending a letter with a UPS envelope, they are helpful in their suggestions. Lucky for me it is close to where I live and convenient. I am very grateful for a service like this. Thanks for what you do. read more

Worst customer service I've experienced. They are never helpful. One man in particular is the worst, and every time I interact with him I leave in an absolutely miserable mood. Don't expect any help/ assistance, congeniality, or for them to go out of there way at all to be of service. At this point, I'm going elsewhere. Hopefully this location closes. read more

I haven't been back for over a year. Those times the staff was fin. it was the manager that was so rude to me. Don't go there if you need help because he doesn't have time for any customers especially if they are disabled. I had to sit in the floor to organize my packages. He literally shoved my packages to the side so I got out of his way permanently. I shop at Target frequently but when I need to ship a package I go to Culpeper. It's way out of my way but I can't compliment that store enough. The store next to Five Guys has the most amazing staff of any store I have ever been in. Well worth the drive! read more

Rude staff each time I go to this UPS location. The lady spoke poorly right in front of me about a customer, who just stopped in to ask a simple question, as soon as they walked out the door. The male staff member had an attitude, was too lazy to type in the full address I provided, and as such the envelope never arrived to the person intended. Yes, I have a tracking number (UPS tracking status states delivered to a different person...no last name listed) but the information within the envelope is irreplaceable. The staff are unprofessional and treat customer with a bad attitude for just walking in the door. If they are that unhappy, give them their walking papers and hire staff that want to be there, treat customers professionally, and provide satisfactory service results which the customer paid for. read more

Amazon returns here are too fast!! Just give them your package, show the QR Code (which you can do from your phone-no need to print out the paper) and you're done! This was particularly helpful when I was dropping off a package on our way to an event we were running late for. Highly recommend read more

I brought my package to be returned to ebay. They printed my label. Then I realized, the seller was using a usps service. I was about to leave, and then the UPS manager was nice enough to take my package, and give to the usps mailman that comes by the store. read more

I just needed to drop off a package. It already had the shipping label and was paid for. There was no need for me to stand in line behind a half dozen people. There was one person working as fast as she could at the front counter. I saw an employee sitting in the back, and went to ask him where I could drop off my package. He didn't get up, he pointed to an area at the front of the checkout line. I wasn't sure where he was pointing, cause he was too lazy to get up. I went to where I thought he was pointing and he loudly and embarrassingly said I couldn't be in that area. There was no sign for drop off. Although there were signs for everything else. They overcharge rates add a few inches to make a package larger than it is, and definitely add a few pounds to make it cost more. I swear Im so disgusted at them overcharging me and would not even give me options to ship with different carriers. It is a total rip off. read more

They charged DOUBLE rate for Xmas packages to midwest claiming the ONLY way they would arrive in 12 days. They told me that the truck schedule for ground delivery was showing "unavailable" and I would have to do 3-day guaranteed delivery or nothing would make it on time. I was charged $150 for what should have been around $60. I paid it, but was so disturbed I called corporate to find out - it was not true. I called the store repeatedly to try and resolve this first but they would not answer the phone - EVER. I wrote a letter to the manager - no response. Finally, I called the corporate office. Corporate was wonderful and told me to report this franchise for the false dealing. I did. As a result, I finally got a refund of half - $70 because corporate leaned on them. The last time I was there, an employee was telling a potential applicant what it was like to work there - boss is a jerk. There aren't a lot of options - but try to avoid this store. read more
