CHECK YOUR RECEIPT FOR OVERCHARGES & DUBIOUS CHARGES! I went in today to have boots shipped to a family member. I initially went in and asked for a box that would fit and stated that I would "be right back." The lady at the counter asked if I had my items in the car and I stated, "yes." She said, "Bring them in and we can package them for you." I agreed and brought the 4 pairs of boots in. They folded the box and placed the boots in and used 1 piece of plastic to protect one set of boots and then used 1 strip of tape on each end of the box and that was that. I saw on the counter that they charge $2 for use of their tape (which was fine with me and even made a comment about it, that I would rather pay $2, then buy a roll). I paid for the shipping, the tape and box. When I got to my car and looked at the receipt. There were 2 charges each for $6 ($12 total) on top of the $8.99 for the box (which was expected). However there was a $6 charge for "Std Pack Materials" and another $6 charge for "Std Pack Service". I went back in and stated that, "I had been overcharged and why are there 2 charges for $6, when I agreed to pay $2 for the tape?" I'm guessing it was the owner/manager of the UPS Store and he stated, "we packed your items for you, that's why you were charged." I told him that he "should notify his customers of the extra charges just like the sign on the counter that states the $2 tape charge, when in fact, I was going to pack my items myself?" He made the excuse that "they are so busy and don't have time to tell me" about the extra charges. Although, he did refund me the overcharges, I find it pretty telling in the integrity of the owner and his staff that they aren't explaining extra charges and likely don't expect you to look at your receipt. When you think of all the business they receive each day, that is ALOT OF MONEY that they are accruing fraudulently, right out of your bank account. read more

My package experienced some problems being delivered because I erroneously provided the incorrect zip code and the store completely went out of their way to help me! They were able to find package and get the error corrected and delivered with very little hassle. Very hard to find customer service of this level!! Miguel at the UPS Store is an outstanding, helpful person. He helped me on two different occasions with boxes of miscellaneous " stuff" from my sisters home we were closing in Old Snowmass. He was patient and helpful as I carried in all sorts of loose items. He packed them and they all arrived shortly after in California. I was exhausted and dirty and he was very professional. I highly recommend this store and want UPS to know what a wonderful employee they have. read more

know the store is under new management and I must say the customer service I received was beyond exceptional. I had a package that was shipped on a personal account and there has been an error and how it was being handled and getting rerouted in Denver. Horrendous customer service! The clerk acted as if I was interrupting him. He charged me to print my shipping label and for 2 strips of tape on the top of the box I was shipping. He said it had to have the tape and that he should have charged me even more. Ridiculous, poor treatment and a bad attitude!! Stay away if customer service is what you are looking for! read more

If there were -negative stars I would rate this location accordingly. Because of the poor customer service and total brush off I just received, I will not recommend or use this shipping business ever. I was told it would "be a while", So I asked what time they closed and the clerk responded, "3", it was 2pm. We felt as if he didn't want or appriciate our business, so we walked right out and will.go to the Fed-ex store in Aspen. Cost and convenience don't mean anything if an employee treats me rudely.
