Beware that this store has implemented a $20 fee to pick up a package. This is *in addition* to fees that the shipper already paid UPS and is assessed to you as the recipient. They give you a runaround about how they're not actually UPS, even though that's the name on the door, and they can add whatever fees they fancy, in whatever amount they choose. I don't know what it is with this location and I've been selling online for 15 years never had an issue like this. I shipped out a package on 11/20. It arrived to this location on 11/25. It still says "preparing for delivery" and today is 12/2 so now i don't know what to tell the buyer. It's obvious it was lost tried calling no answer nothing. I dropped off a return for Amazon on Nov 12 and Amazon did not receive it. They were expensive Sorells and I received a confirmation and tracking number. When I went in to talk to them in the office, they told me they could not track it for me and hope it gets there? I dropped off another return for Amazon on Nov 16. Amazon still has not received Acknowledment of the drop off through their label. The Owner needs to call me from this store. This is ridiculous. Are packages just getting stolen? Went to their store to ship a package and they refused to accept a ups account number to send my package. They said they would print the label for me, but I would have to pay for it and couldn't put it on the account number. This is why I usually send packages Fedex. Go to Fedex at either location in town or at ABC, they are awesome. Avoid this ups location. Three people working there and none of them cared at all. Friendly, efficient place to get packing and shipping done. Parking right on the street, and usually you can get a spot, which is remarkable in Aspen. They'll try to find the most economical way for you to ship, although sometimes/often USPS is cheaper if pure cost is the issue. Nevertheless, a good spot. My husband dropped off a box for me several weeks ago, and it turns out I had made a mistake on the label. They called me and said that the box had been there for a long time, and asked me to pick it up. I said I had never heard anything about this, and the woman who I spoke with was very rude. She hung up on me when I told her I thought this delay in informing me about the problem was suboptimal consumer service. Total joke. Called earlier in the day to verify hours for the day - supposedly the store closes at 4. Arrived just before 2pm to a sign on the door saying that they were out for a pickup until 3:30. Came back at 3:30 and waited until after 4pm - no one came, there were multiple people in line needing to ship packages. Of course UPS customer service is closed so no one to call. Saying the Aspen Post Office is better than this place is the best I can say. Awful employees. Charging $20 per box when having things delivered to this particular location.
