We recently sent a very important document via UPS Overnight. Unfortunately, severe storms at UPS's Kentucky hub caused the initial delay, which was understandable. However, what should have been a short weather-related delay turned into several additional days, resulting in extra hotel stays and other unexpected expenses. The representative at the UPS Store on Grove Street in Braintree went above and beyond to help us. He took the time to file a claim on our behalf and guided us through the entire process. Although the initial weather-related delay was considered an "Act of God" and wasn't covered, he recognized that the additional delays were not weather-related and should be reimbursed. Yesterday, we received a check because our claim was approved! Exceptional customer service is hard to find these days, but this UPS Store proved that it still exists. We are incredibly grateful for the professionalism, persistence, and genuine concern shown to us throughout the process. I am so disappointed with this location. First I sent something to myself to California. It came back to the original address. They scanned the wrong label. Second. I brought in a picture and spent 200 for them to wrap and send. No kidding. It shows up. I could had done what they did. A couple pieces of bubble wrap and in a huge box. No other stuff I f. So yes. If there were negative stars... I had bicycle sent to this establishment as a hold/pick up. I paid $180 for transport from Colorado. Then, this place charged another $30 holding fee. It was there less than 2 business days. They are an unofficial access point, so according to UPS customers' service, they can charge whatever. UPS doesn't have control or any warning as to independent franchises/pirates. To top it, the man there told the sender that if it wasn't picked up in 2 days, he'd send it back. The sender stated that the man was rude and uncooperative as I found him to be at the Grove St. ups "store". Never again will I use this place and unlikely to use ups. read more

This once a location I used for years. Not only for a mail box but for any and all packages. Shipping or Receiving. Upon moving I had a new mail address but always shipped my packages. The crew was top notch and beyond helpful. That was then. I recently went there with a normal package that seemed to be a problem for what I guess are the New owners. No help what so ever and there seemed a wee bit of a language barrier. But this is a customer service based operation and having a convenience store attitude will not cut it. I went in right after opening today 5/12/22 and there was only one gentleman working and there was already a long line. I was a bit apprehensive as recent reviews weren't great. The gentleman was so very nice and helpful. I was shipping food to New Jersey and was just having UPS pack. He was very careful when packing and it was refreshing to receive such great service and good conversation. Especially from someone who's only been in the country for 6 months. Dropped off a package with pre-paid laid. Didn't take the receipt because thought I didn't need it because over the years there was never issued. the package didn't have update days later and I called the store and USP. Neither side tried to help at all!!! UPS said they never had the package so they can't even do any research on it WHAT??? Called the store where I dropped off the package they told me they don't keep receipt from previous business days..... all their computer system scanning was only for the total of packages and it is not even linked to UPS. Means even they scanned, until the UPS scanned when they picked up and that's the time it will update the status.... Some one took all my info and promised will call me back which never happened. Now two weeks later nothing nothing at all. and no body knows where my package went strangely. Anyway how can my package nowhere to be found???? I went there yesterday 7/22/18 to do a return to Amazon. The man working behind the counter took my phone away from me to help process the return/ refund. He pressed refund to a "Gift Card" without my permission. I wanted it on my Amazon store card account...which was an option, but he was rushing through it. Did not realize this until later that day. So, now I'm stuck with a gift card that I cannot use to replace the money to the store card that was used to buy the item. I was relocating from MA to GA this weekend. Went to two post offices- Weymouth and Quincy. Both did not bother to welcome us and gave several reasons why they couldn't accept my packages. Pulled up to UPS, held hands, and prayed for better service. The employees not only welcomed us, but also helped us move packages into the facility. Upon weighing and Measuring the packages, the employee informed us the boxes were under the weight/ size limit for the USPS. Both employees were cheerful, helpful, and overall amazing during the processing of our boxes. I had an amazing experience at UPS! I was shipping something abroad and noticed that the shipment was not tracking and became very concerned that the package would not reach the destination. I called the ups in Braintree, spoke to the owner who immediately followed up with UPS central. He informed me of the steps he took in order to locate the package and then followed up with me the following day. They found the package!! I was so incredibly impressed by the professionalism and the follow through! I would highly recommend this UPS branch to everyone! If one could marry a UPS store, this would be my man. I had to drop off some packages the other day up in Everette at the UPS and that experience was miserable on so many different levels. When I feel up for a rant, I'm sure I'll review them. But as for right now I want to sing my love from the hill tops over the Braintree UPS store. I came into this location armed with my box, return label, and packing tape. Kevin saw me and told me to put the tape away. Wow how unfriendly. They would not allow me to email them an address label. Instead I forced to use their computer for $2.50 and have to sign on to my personal email. I would of gladly paid to have them printed the the label. I've used ups stores when traveling for work and have never run into this before. This store is by far the best store I have ever used. I started using them a little over two years ago and havnt looked back. Not only are they professional, courteous, and helpful, they are your friends. They know most of the people who walk in by their first names. On top of that the owner is usually there working as well. I cannot recommend this place enough. I'm not even from Braintree, I drive 15 minutes out of the way to go to this store over any others and I live less than 5 minutes from both a post office and another ups store. We met with the guys at the UPS Store at 288 Grove St in Braintree and they made us feel like VIPs, helping us get setup there. I came here during the Christmas rush with two major parcels and a ton of Christmas cards and the service was impressive.
