Comparing with post office in town, this store saved my life. Every time I went in, employee were friendly and handle shipping very efficiently. When they see people in line, the employee at back sorting out boxes will quickly come to the counter and call the next customer in line. In post office, you must buy a whole roll of tape if you need 1 foot of tape to secure a package. At this store they help you to seal and secure the box for free If you need. Maybe two people In front of us but we were helped quickly as a second person started helping behind the counter. We have been asked to provide packaging before so we brought in case we were asked (as we were sent away without it before). Not here! We received a receipt with the tracking of both shipments. The staff is courteous. However, if you are picking up an Amazon package you must do so within the time frame. If you need an extra day to pickup your package they will not accommodate your request. So I would say they will go above and beyond to provide exceptional customer service. read more

This is for the Sehome UPS store, near REI. I drive all the way across town to get to this store when I have the need of UPS. The people here are really nice and do a good job. The UPS store on Meridian has the most horrible manager on the planet who screams and yells at customers for no reason. An employee immediately returned it because the label wasn't in compliance with their standards. One UPS Store can't evidently sent it right to another. My phone number was on the package! No call! This is for, Ellette. She provided above & beyond customer service last week. I sent my great niece's b day presents to the previous address & only knew this due to her texting me. She said a guy came in, mad & threw my boxes at her. He unwrapped them & opened one. Nothing was taken, to the best of my knowledge. Ellette, texted me to tell all this to me. She packaged them back up & sent them to the correct address. They arrived the next day & my 1 yo great niece was a happy girl. Ellette, was going to drive them to her, if they were in the same town, but they were a couple of hrs away. She deserves a pay raise & a promotion. Her service is hard to come by these days. I have used this USP store several times, mostly for dropping off Amazon return packages. This specific review is specifically about their response to the COVID-19 pandemic. Today (May 16, 2020), I came to this UPS Store to drop off an Amazon return package. The actual return process was quick and easy (thanks to Amazon); just drop it off and have the QR code scanned. What was most disappointing was the fact that neither of employees working at the counter was wearing a mask or gloves. I do acknowledge the fact that they have marked the floor so that customers waiting in line can keep social distance. There's also plexiglass installed at the counter, but I thought it was useless because it's only in front of their computers. The employees were mostly interacting with customers where the scales were, without plexiglass between them. This little UPS store has saved me more than once. Tucked into the back corner of the Haggen/REI strip mall, it's easy to miss but worth seeking out. They offer a notary service for $10 which is super convenient and pretty fast. (Call first, though, to make sure the notary is on duty!) They also have P.O. boxes, shipping services, and a small-but-helpful selection of mailing and office supplies. Recently they became an Amazon returns center, meaning you can drop off your return and - with pretty much zero hassle - it's soon on its way back to Amazon. The downside of this service is that the store is often packed with a long line. (Hopefully they'll put up some signage so the Amazon-package-return crowd knows where to go, which would make things less complicated.) This is a great one-stop-shop for shipping and notary services, and much faster and friendlier than the USPS in my experience. read more

This store screwed me so bad! In particular, Bobbie the manager/owner. I received a damaged item from shipping that I bought online. When the box came it was so damaged it looked like it was dropped multiple times. I started a claim to receive money to purchase a replacement for the part that was broken. The claim took nearly 6 months due to lost files, ignored emails and people being general slackers. This store never picks up the phone by the way. I have probably called this store 60 times with them picking up 5 times. After the claim was settled, they send out the check TO THE WRONG PERSON... to the online seller! Instead of sending me the check, since I started the claim, did all the leg work and have the broken item, they send it to the seller who decides to be super sleazy, keep it and end communications with me. So, the seller essentially got paid twice, $500 by me and almost $400 by Bobbie at the UPS Store. I get the shaft and the broken item. Somehow in their empty minds this makes sense. Do yourself a favor and use United States Postal Service. UPS Stores are individually owned, so it's really up to the owner as to the service you will receive and this store doesn't care. Bobbie should be reaching out to make this right as she knows this is wrong, but instead does nothing. read more

A sign was placed on the door which said, "ATTENTION Because of the spread of COVID-19 we are experiencing staffing shortages. WE ARE CLOSED AT 3:00PM TODAY. I went to the UPS store in Sehome Village at the end of a long working day to mail a package for my daughter. I was hesitant to go in due to the long line that I could see from my car but I had promised my daughter that I would get her package mailed that day so I took a deep breath and prepared for a miserable experience. Once inside however I was pleasantly surprised. While I stood in line I observed the five workers who were behind the counter at the time and they were all working fast and effectively while maintaining pleasant attitudes. The line moved quickly as a result and I was out of there and on my way home in less than 10 minutes. I recently got a passport photo at this store and it was really, really bad. There were shadows giving a distortion to the lower half of the photo, the size was too big and the exposure was bad. Any one of these would caused my application to be rejected. Unfortunately I didn't look till I got home. I had the photos done at a different place and they were exactly correct. After making a few calls it appears that UPS in Sehome, Bellingham's charges are several dollars more than other places in the area. Avoid them at all costs! read more

My company uses the service of UPS in Sehome Village. I have had thousands of envelopes, time sensitive packages and even pallets of products arrive here with zero problems. The staff are professional, friendly and super kind. Ashley F. complains the staff do not make eye contact. They always make eye contact with me... so maybe Ashley ....you should try the local bar if you are in search of eye contact. Xichen J. is happy to give a one star review to UPS because he spent $1.59 for computer use and printing. Miles S. gives a one star because he spent $1 for a box. Get over it you guys: customer facing rental computers are not free to use and packaging material including boxes cost money. Miles: the bad news is that veterans do not get free boxes in America. The good news is that if your particular contract of deployment clearly states that you're entitled to free boxes for life after returning from a tour of Iraq, I am sure every private organization will give you free boxes when you show them the contract and maybe a free Cadillac if you just make it to the dealership. This is a great store location with a great crew! I agree with the reviews by Luke B. and Rachel W. I started my business in 2005 and with all the changes we've gone through this store has been there for us. I can't count how may times Bobbi has gone the extra mile and she doesn't think twice about it. Same with Lynn. One of the reviews talked about costs. Yes they are more expensive than using your own computer and printing on your own printer. Those computers and printers cost money. They have to charge something for their use. It's about convenience and providing a value added service. Yes they can be more expensive than going to the USPS. One should know that going there and nobody is hiding that. You won't be waiting in hour long lines. I'm not knocking USPS. However, we've all been there and you know what i'm referring to. What is your time worth? If you go to a nice restaurant you get better food and ideally better service. You'll pay a little more for that. It's worth it for me to have time back I can spend elsewhere. It's worth it to me to know I have a professional firm taking care of our shipping needs. I'm not going to speak for all the UPS Stores out there. I don't want more people going to the store but I have to praise Bobbie, Lynn and Peggy as well as the rest of the staff at Sehome UPS. The reviews I read that were negative were clearly people who don't use the store regularly. It's rare these days in Bellingham to have people give you a personal greeting when you go into a store. Even our regular shops are staffed by people who treat returning customers with the same cold courtesy as tourists. Our little town of Bellingham is getting colder as it gets more crowded. So I am beyond grateful for the kind words that we have always received from the staff at our UPS store. It literally is one of the things that we look forward to when we return home from traveling. Every time I call this store nobody answers and I have to drive over to the store. And every time this has happened, there has not been any customers inside! One staff member was flat out rude, the younger one was much nicer (which is why I gave 2 stars instead of 1). On top of the rudeness and not answering the phone, nobody could help me find my package. They gave me a piece of paper and told me to call the number and press zero till I reach a person. I don't understand why they couldn't be more help. The two employees didn't have any other customers to deal with and when I drove up they weren't doing anything except standing at the register. read more

I met the manger of this UPS today. She is the most pretentious, demeaning individual who has ever spoke to me. Have you known you are wrong and stupid? If not, go to this UPS store. Embrace the most disgusting person that works in the service industry and allow her to tell you how "her" UPS store forces a veteran to pay for a box when shipping to an account number given to the veteran by the USA government. A veteran mailing to the government! I had to write the federal government's account number on a sheet of paper before she would even tell me if it would be paid for. She charged me for a box. Apparently she runs 2 UPS stores in town. She made it clear that if I went to the third UPS store in town that she is friends with the other owner. She knows him personally and spoke positively about him in a manner that suggested he would not provide shipping materials for veterans. I dropped off a package here with a prepaid label. They did not cross off the label but put the new one on the BOTTOM of the box so it ended up going back to my friend's place where it was initially sent. This was a huge inconvenience for me. Normally, the staff on the weekends are pretty good and they have a special protective sheet that they put the prepaid label in-this is why I didn't tape it down myself. They must have had a new staff member. Having said that, it still made NO sense to stick the new label on the BOTTOM. I sent them an email about this and never received a reply back. I then told the owner about this in person who was rude and not apologetic. Maybe she does not make any money off this and doesn't care. Although this location is great and I will probably continue to go there due to the location, I am giving 1 star due to the poor customer service from the owner who I rarely see, but 2 out of 2 times, she has been rude to me. read more

Great service! I went here last Saturday, and two younger people (a girl and a guy) were working. I was very pleasantly surprised at their service, the girl helped me (black hair, middle eastern I think?) and she automatically put me at ease and helped me get to the best service, I was incredibly happy and she was great! Really knew her stuff and although I was having a bad day, it got turned around once I got to the store. This was so nice for a change, the post office had me almost in tears!
