Be the first to review this somewhat hidden gem of a music venue and brewery? don't mind if I do!…read more Over my past couple of years of listening to them, Foxy Shazam has evolved into being a band that I really needed to see live. So when I saw that they were playing this random Millersville venue not all that far away I was instantly intrigued, and then I was even more sold when I saw that the venue also brewed their own beer. I also loved that it was a non-Ticket Master venue that used Eventbrite to sell tickets without an insane amount of hidden fees. And when I checked it out it was a hidden gem of a pleasant surprise. Unless you go to Millersville University, the area that the venue is at is one that you might not frequent. But Phantom Power is one of those few other reasons to visit since it delivers a fine assortment of local flavor events and national touring acts. Regular events include things like gothic/industrial dance parties, comedy nights, a Kegs and Eggs weekend brunch event, or just chilling in their outdoor beer garden on good weather days. I would absolutely go to things like these if Millersville was even closer! But on the flip side Phantom Power has also been seeing a good surge of national acts coming through thanks to WXPN taking notice for shows and them just being a fun and reliable space which I'll get to. In addition to Foxy Shazam I've seen big local names like Hop Along and mewithoutyou, indie acts like Delta Spirit and Sondre Lerche, Industrial and Punk bands like Front 242 and Reverend Horton Heat, and WTF WoW shows like Tim Cappello from Lost Boys (I still believe! - https://youtu.be/LpuwcINDHnQ) on their current and past lineup. It kind of reminds me of pleasantly filled memory venues of yesteryear like the Trocadero, only with a better beer list! Once we made our way through the lot to the venue we realized how big it is. Outside of their brunch event, they don't have a menu of their own, but I love the food truck connections they have and really wish I could remember the name of the BBQ truck that had those glorious smoked wings! The on-site brewed beer was as much of a hidden gem as the music venue since we enjoyed IPAs, stouts, pilsners, ESBs, and some other good varieties. The one suggestion I have is that, with a music venue of its caliber that also has a good beer list, it would be useful for them to have more sheld space to leave cups on during a jam-packed show like the one we were at, Foxy Shazam is one of those good energy rock bands that I would have enjoyed without good sound or lighting. But the fact that they had both in spades definitely helped. Now that I know this hidden gem is a success I'm checking their Facebook and Eventbrite pages (they don't actually seem to have their own site outside of those) for eye-catching shows, and you should do the same!

The place was laid off nicely with two levels. The have a bar on both levels. Very small bar food menu. This is not a restaurant. Snack type hot food only. The entertainment tonight I was surprised. They were actually very good. And when I read what they had on their calendar they had some stuff that interest me. Yes this place is geared towards a younger demographic. At least compared to my age..I recommend you check out the web site. They have a lot to offer.I was there for about three hours. I prepaid for my ticket. . It end up being a very inexpensive night of entertainment.

Tellus360 is quite possibly the best bar & nightclub in the entire world. No, that is not a typo. No, I am not drunk. You're thinking, "Hold up. You mean to tell me that a bar in Lancaster, Pennsylvania is better than any bar that you would find in New York, Chicago, Los Angeles, Miami, D.C., or Philly?" To which I would reply, "Yes. That is what I am telling you." You want live music? Tellus has it. You want a Euro-style dance club? Tellus has it. You want good bar food? Tellus has it. You want a "regular bar" for bumping into people and talking? Tellus has it. You want a rooftop bar? Tellus has it. You want a speakeasy? Tellus has it! It has everything, including a great drink selection and unique seasonal cocktails! If you picked Tellus up and placed it in Manhattan, Tellus could charge a $40 cover and easily get it. Bar none, my most favorite bar I've ever been to anywhere in the world.

I understand that they would not want someone who has thrown up in the building, however, they kicked me out and were planning to do so without letting me leave with my friends. So, I am leaving a two star review because while the establishment is very cool and the food seems very good, I believe that they were trying to just shuffle in and did not care as much about the current patrons . Again, I can understand not wanting a patron to overindulge in the alcoholic available. However, I would like it mentioned that they pulled me as soon as I came out of the bathroom and I had no way leaving the bar to get home safely/get an uber at the time. The bouncers made me leave the bar immediately without the current presence of my friends who luckily followed me, but if MY FRIENDS had not been so caring, I would've been out on the curb by myself on Halloween weekend. I talked to other people as well, and they mentioned that they were kicked the bar for the same reason, and it is speculated that they were out to allow more people into Telus to keep the line outside from growing too long is non- I feel that if enough people have come to conclusion, it must be deliberated enough to be true. Please use your own caution and personal experience to figure out where you would like to go for a night out. The vibes in Telus are very nice and fun however it is very easy to get sent out. Also notable - when I was taken outside, the security ripped off my wristband. I have a small cut on my wrist from where he tried to take the wristband off now.

My in-laws live in Lancaster and every Holiday my wife and I make time and spend the extra money to come to the professional shows here. From Disney's beauty and the beast, to A Christmas story, the talent, production, and service at this historic theatre is incredible. Located in the heart of Lancaster,PA, the original marquee shines bright as you walk up excited for your show. Ushers kindly great you, food and bar available and the coffee is even good. I'm not sure the exact history; but this is a historical landmark from early 1920s with original pieces in tact and original show poster on the wall from that era, you know it's not going anywhere, so rest assured. Look at the beams and stir fried in the pictures I took, also did I mention the orchestra is always live, never recorded and on top of that most of the talent is the best in the industry or from broadway in NYC. Please treat yourself to a night at the Fulton Theatre, you won't regret it! Hungry?
