Since the wallpaper came off smoothly, the project appeared deceptively simple; I had no idea the glue would adhere and make for a much larger job, but Kailyn was undaunted: She did a fabulous job removing every trace of glue and painting our entryway, stairwell, upstairs hallway, as well as removing the wallpaper in our half bath before painting that room, too. Kailyn is keenly attentive to detail, incredibly neat, and the results are gorgeous--she totally transformed these key areas of our home and left the space cleaner than it was before starting! Kailyn is a consummate professional, we are thrilled with her work and recommend her services without hesitation. I look forward to hiring her for our next project as soon as we are ready to tackle it!

The prep, painting, and re-assembly didn't take as long as I would have thought. In fact, toward the end of the project, I asked Jim if he could paint the cabinet in the master bathroom with the same color as the kitchen. His team went right to work, and I am glad I had that done, too. The quality of the paint and workmanship is outstanding.

My floors look new, and now closely match the color to the connecting hallway. Everything is cohesive. Regrettably, I made the mistake of hiring my contractor (now former!) to previously refinish the same four floors. They made a mess. Fast forward, this team fixed the rough spots and welts, and, left nothing underneath the poly (e.g., brush hair, knee pad prints, etc.). AJ is a testament to flooring being a specialty, just as plumbing and electrical are. (Tip: All flooring services charge for moving furniture, as I discovered while getting initial quotes. So if you want to save a few hundred dollars, have family and friends help you move furniture before and after the refinishing job.) I personally will use this team going forward for my flooring needs.
