Two other floor people whined about the engineered wood and the prefinished hardwood and how much they didn't like working with it, and Juan was like, "Ok, yeah, let's fix it up for you!" He spent time with me to figure out the color, made adjustments in the plan when we realized the risers couldn't be salvaged, and was just fabulous to work with. I've already recommended him to a friend and will have him restore my grandmother's cedar chest. One floor refinisher was almost 2x Juan's price, and one was 1.5x more, and neither were very nice. Valerie, their designer, was so great about lending her designer advice while ensuring that my space was reflective of my personality. She was so good at reeling me in and not letting me get overwhelmed/paralyzed. Valerie is so very talented and has a great eye. Valerie talked with me after her work hours and on her days off when I would reach out to her with questions. She came to my home twice and was willing to come back again for further consultation. My home is quite far from their office. Valerie even helped me pick out my countertop stone which is gorgeous. Her follow through is impeccable. She helped me to get this done during a time when I was managing so much in my personal/professional life. I probably would not have completed this remodel if it weren't for Valerie's encouragement and check-ins. She had such a nice way of keeping me focused and motivated. The way he and Joe worked to ensure everything was perfect is amazing. They listened to what was important to me and delivered just that. They are so personable as well. Pierre talked with the other contractors that I was working and ensured that everything aligned between counters, cabinets and some special counter brackets I needed for extra overhang. They installed those brackets perfectly. This team didn't stop working until things were perfect. They went above and beyond to ensure that I was satisfied. I am so meticulous and picky and I didn't complain once. That right there is a first! Also, I vacillated on whether to get the roll out drawers and I'm so happy I did. They are a game changer! Everything is so organized now and I actually have access to all of my items. It decreases your storage space by a little but I had things in the back of my cabinets that I never used or even remembered I had because I didn't have access to them. I got rid of some items and kept the things I actually use. I really felt taken care of by this entire team. From start to finish they were truly amazing. As a single person, doing this on my own without a general contractor, I felt confident because this team is so trustworthy and talented. I highly recommend Cabinet Cures.
