Holy cow, what a hidden gem. Was heading back from a golf trip and found this one via my favorite app! Bartender was super friendly and this place has plenty of space to unwind at. Went with the pot roast sandwich which was hot, moist and delicious. When pot roast is done right it's absolutely incredible. Coupled with a side of crispy onion rings and an ice cold Guinness really made this a great lunch! read more

We stopped on our way home from Allegany State Park. The building is nice, but the patio is absolutely gorgeous. The staff are all so friendly, and one waitress even let me daughter feed the koi in the pond. The food was good, the prices are fair. Will definitely return! read more

Service was not good. Was told after being seated it would be 15 minutes before they could take our order due to an event going on in the dinning room. We waited 40 minutes and no one had came back to take our order. This was our first time visiting trillium and will likely be our last. read more

I don't know why this place has so many bad reviews on yelp. On google it has great reviews so we took a chance and came here for my birthday. Tammy was the best waitress I have ever had. You can tell she's just a genuinely nice person. And she gave us free cake for my birthday! And it's vegan friendly, not actual vegan substitutes but some of the dishes don't have dairy in them. read more

It is a very nice establishment, kind of in an out of the way town, between Jamestown and Fredonia NY. We were seated promptly, even though we did not have a reservation because we simply just drove by the place. They found a way to work us into a nice high top table in the bar area. The bar area a large modern open area. The bar was nicely designed with stones and wooden accents, kind of reminiscent of a ski lodge setting, with a good draft selection and a special drink menu with interesting choices. Our food was very good. I started with a cup of soup and we shared an appetizers of stuffed banana peppers. I had a hamburger that was cooked perfectly as ordered with a side of French fries. My husband had a pulled pork sandwich with a side of Mac and cheese. Everything was delicious. Our server was friendly and attentive. The prices are fair, and the portions are large. It was a contemporary designed, very clean restaurant. If we find ourselves in the area again, we will definitely stop. read more

We've heard good things so we decided to try it out for what would turn out to be our last date night before the Pandemic Shutdown. This place is a hidden jewel in the country! It's absolutely gorgeous inside and out and the service was friendly and fast. We usually order our meal and then eat and go, but we found ourselves ordering drinks and appetizers and even dessert. Everything was absolutely delicious and we enjoyed the whole experience. We'll be enjoying another date night there as soon as we can - one of the best local dinner experiences we've had in awhile. read more

The place is amazing IF you like the log cabin type feel - and I certainly do! There is plenty of parking and a great little outdoor area too - complete with a couple of streams and a little garden pond - a really cool little area! Inside it is decked out in everything log cabin and both the selection and the prices were great! As for the quality of the food - that was excellent as well. The cleanliness was top notch. However, the only reason this place didn't get my 5 stars was because of service and to be honest - service hasn't been that great anywhere - seems as though it's the first thing to go! Though the waitress was nice enough - she didn't return to check on us, refills or even to give us boxes for take out without being asked. First time visitor (03/16/19) and I am speechless how incredible my experience was!!! It is a such hidden gem in Cherry Creek. I don't just recommend it, I say you HAVE to go. The decorations and the setting are so warm and cozy. Our food was easily one of the best meals we've eaten out. My burger was cooked perfectly and bun toasted just right. The macaroni and cheese was very tasty as well. My significant other had a salad and it was so fresh and for a regular salad he said it was filling and tasty. The Tower Cake was perfect. I'm not a huge one on cake but the cheesecake and regular Guinness cake was really well matched together. Now on to the service, our waitress, Kristin, was SO nice. She very easily earned the big tip. She was accommodating to us bringing a kid. She talked to her as if she was another customer instead of dismissing her. She answered her little kid questions and even gave her St Patrick's Day face stickers and necklace just because my daughter asked for some. She was so sweet and when my kiddo dumped her juice she was understanding and quick to help us clean up. We would come back just based on the service. Our food came out at a reasonable time (though we definitely didn't mind any time spent waiting because the place is so beautiful and has to much to offer to take in). Visited with friends and their kids. It was very family friendly. We had drinks, French onion soup, chicken quesadilla, a burger and wings. Everything was delicious! The decor is adorable. Reminds me of a cozy little (but giant) cabin, where everyone gathers to catch up. We will definitely be back again with friends again! read more

It took over an hour for our food to come, The lobster mac and cheese tasted like nacho cheese with some noodles and no lobster. Also the artichokes on the flatbread were hard and not edible. Would not recommend coming on a Friday night because they only have two people making the food. read more

We've been waiting to go...but it was a bit out of the way for us. We had our chance Saturday. The restaurant was clean with a very cool lodge feel. Lots of cars in the lot and on the street. We were prepared for a wait. Surprisingly the bar had plenty of seats. The hostess was cleaning a table for us. We had a beer at the bar, five minutes later we sat down. Our dining experience went down hill from there. Our waitress was completely in the weeds. I don't think it was entirely her fault. She was waiting on all seven tables in the bar section while the two bartenders stood behind the bar on their phones waiting on a hand full of customers. We watched fellow patrons frustrations. Although the service was extremely slow, our waitress did her best keeping us supplied with beverages, basket of bread and salads. An hour and a half later my wife's burger came out burnt (ordered med-rare). It was way too long and we were too hungry to insist on recooking. My osco bucco was fair, probably pre-packaged, a bit dry and very salty. It was painful watching the other customers get through similar dining experiences. As the restaurant started to clear out, the bartenders came running out to help the servers...a little late, we thought it was humorous. Our waitress did take 50% off my wife's burger, thanks but would have much preferred the burger cooked closer to her request. We'll probably give Trillium Lodge another chance, maybe during the winter months when they may be slower and sit by the fireplace. read more

The cook obviously doesn't know food basics both in preparation and taste. I got a pasta dish with mussels. The mussels had seaweed still on the shells which made me wary to eat them, and I wondered if the cook knew anything about shellfish safety since they didn't even scrub off the shells. The dish itself did not taste good at all, there was no flavor, no salt, and it was missing ingredients from the description. The only thing I could taste were the large leaves of rosemary- which aren't meant to be eaten like that. I feel like the cook was trying to be fancy using fresh rosemary but doesn't know anything about it. I actually had to stop eating because I started getting nauseous, which has never happened to me before. My husband got prime rib which was pink on one side and over cooked way past well done on the other side. I was too polite to say anything to the nice waitress but wanted to write this review as a favor to the restaurant owner- you should really get a new cook before they ruin your business and/or make people sick. Or else take all the fancier type of food off the menu and just serve burgers and wings. I see some other bad reviews here, and my husband mentioned our bad meal to someone from his work and he said they went there a couple weeks before we did and his wife got sick. I'll never go back unless there's a change. I felt like I was on that Gordon Ramsey restaurant makeover show... the "before" part of the episode! Though the ambiance was cute at least. I don't normally leave reviews but really, I want to get the message across to the management because the few bad reviews show an obvious problem if you pay attention to what they have a complaint about.
