I have used them twice. The first time was random - OFS was the first company to answer the phone and say they could come remove and chip several small trees I had cut down in my back yard. They showed up on time, did the work competently and quickly, and did a great job cleaning up. The second time was a much larger job - taking down two trees (one an 80 ft tall dying cedar tree) and extensively trimming two others. Jose came out and discussed the job, and gave us a number of options on doing the work. The job cost was significantly less than we expected based on other tree jobs we were aware of. Again, Jose and his crew showed up on time and worked closely with us to ensure everything we wanted to get done got done. His crew got the job done quickly and efficiently were careful not to damage any of our other landscaping. And the clean-up was impeccable. I now know why Hunter Tree Care was the lowest bidder from among the arborists I received quotes…read morefrom. We needed for our VERY large, old, California Black Oak tree to be cleaned up and all the mistletoe removed, except for the branches over the power lines. Pacific Power contracts w/ a company to do that work. Hunter Tree Service assured us that they could remove all the mistletoe at the far ends of many of the higher branches. When they said they were done, the reason they gave for not removing the mistletoe from all those high branches was that their equipment would not reach that far. Of course they had to know this at the start, but obviously they must be hard up for work. If you are considering this company because they are the low bidder, you might want to reconsider your decision!
