Salad Anchor Cobb (GF)

Food was good and the portion size is big. Service was quick, we stopped by during lunchtime and we were seated promptly since there was no wait. I didn't realize there were 3 stories but it's very cozy inside and welcoming. I've had other items before and it's never disappointed.

I was starving and wanted something good and quick to eat. Then I thought about this Couch Tomato. The food was sooo yummy!! My waitress was friendly and very accommodating. I had the vegan tacos 10 out of 10z!. The ceaseer salad on point! Will I be going back ? Uuhhh yeah!!! mmmmmmm

The dining area upstairs is super cute, we were sat all the way up on the third floor, which felt more intimate and calm than the second floor dining area. Our server was great, and we got little cups of tomato soup as a free treat! I loved the soup, and honestly wish I ordered that instead of the eggplant dip. The food was alright. I think a little pricy for the quality. I wouldn't go back for a date night, but might if a friend wanted to get some sit down pizza. They also have a typical pizza takeout stand on the first level.

Such a great salad !! This salad had so many fresh flavors and ingredients. I also loved the green goddess dressing that I added to the salad! Our server was attentive and even brought over a taste of their tomato soup ! Which was also SOOOO delicious. This cheesy breadstick was TO DIE FOR! So gooey, such soft bread. A must have with the fresh salad. The restaurant itself has ample seating. We love the seat by the window to people watch on Main Street! Definitely stop in here for the soup, salad, and bread!

Y'allllll, buckle up. I love this place, and I reeeeeally enjoyed my first experience here!! 1) The service was great! Our waitress rocked, and she was so helpful with our questions. 2) The space is laid back and perfect for a cozy meal! Also, the allergen information and options are incredible. I was super impressed. 3) The food SLAPS. We had several things, and we all really enjoyed our food! My gluten free pizza was excellent, and it paired nicely with the tomato soup. They also give you a little sample of the soup once you order - it's adorable! My friends all really enjoyed their food as well.

I came at lunch time during the week. They have lunch special items. Coworker and I ordered salads and pizza. The pizza is on the regular menu and you can customize your own. The salads are create your own too but I got the "fried goat cheese" salad. So good! It had a mountain of arugula on top, and plenty of toppings. Customer service was topnotch, she was friendly, and prompt. The tunes were tuning, pleasant up beat playlist made me feel good on this rainy day.

So since I had my heart attack the cardiac rehabilitation center has been telling me to stick to the Mediterranean diet. Which isn't bad because I enjoy it. Just don't know of a ton of places. So we were walking along Main Street and this place caught my eye. We went in and I got the Greek salad with grilled chicken. My wife got the falafel. She said it was some of the best falafel she's had. Which is saying a lot. Much like Shania Twain most things don't impress her much. I don't think she's care if she met Brad Pitt. My salad was terrific. Hearty and inexpensive. The pita was excellent too. Only one guy on doing everything and he was quick. Felt a little bad for him. You can dine in but no bathroom.

I honestly found the food here pretty bland. The wrap didn't wow me and I could have made this quality at home for much cheaper. I ended up getting the Chicken Shwarma Sandwich. The hummus didn't have a kick to it. I really liked the use of lettuce and tomato but that should always be in a shwarma sandwich. The pita used was pretty bland tasting as well and didn't taste freshly made.

The poke itself was very fine. Not a lot of options in either the fish department or the toppings department. And there are up charges for a lot of ingredients I feel are typically standard, like seaweed salad. I also got a creme brûlée drink which was definitely not worth the money. It feels mom and pop which I appreciate and do feel like with some small additions to their poke options this could be a nice spot if you're in the area.

The…read morefolks who run the place are super nice and attentive, definitely family-run, and because of that I am going to do what I can to support this local business because we don't need another chain joint in our area. And good on them for taking a risk on Bala village where few retail businesses have been willing to invest. Similar vibe inside to when it was Trails End but they have opened up all of the internal space for dining so plenty of options to sit inside on a cold day. Lots of take-out snacks and drinks are available for trail users, including a nice selection of iced cream bars, coffee, bars, etc. On to the food. I absolutely love ramen, so honestly, I'm happy to have someplace in our neighborhood where I can get a decent bowl. Overall everything was good. Solid bowl of homemade ramen. Not at the level of places like Hiro or Terakawa, but not at all flat and the noodles were well cooked. I got it with shrimp tempura which came with 2 small but super crunchy shrimp that went well with the soup. Also, I got an order of takoyaki which actually was surprisingly yummy. Good texture and flavor came on a nice little bed of lettuce. Again, not the best takoyaki ever, but still pretty yummy. Was happy with the milk tea I got, tasted home-brewed and they got my sugar level just right. The tapioca was just ok. My spouse got a creme brulé bubble tea which was similar to mine but with a custardyness to it that I was jealous of. For a small shop run by 2 people that sells a lot of different things in a super odd location in Bala, this place surprised me with how good it was. I'm giving it 5 stars because they are new and are still building the business and getting the kinks out. I really do think this place can become awesome if people keep going and give them feedback to allow them to make it even better. I wonder if having so many options (poke, ramen, etc) is hurting them as people are used to either going to a poke place or a ramen place. Is it possible to do both types of food really well, maybe. But honestly, I think if they chose one and really nailed it, this place would take off. My vote is for ramen, but that's just because I'm not big on poke and there are already a number of sushi spots in our area. Overall, if you live in the area, and have a craving for some poke, ramen, or bubble tea. Please, support them, and help them get even better! I'm rooting for Platform Z!

When I mentioned accessibility issues, the person on the phone was very clear about how many steps and how far to our table. We were seated in the barn, which is overflow event space with four tables that can seat up to six. It was a rainy day and a little chilly, but they even had heat lamps inside. Omar the server was lovely and accommodating. He even offered a faster, back alley way for us to access the space that was easier for those of us with mobility issues. Food overall was solid -- the single add on items make it great for kids (one giant pancake for $7). Crab cakes were lackluster, but the shrimp and grits were amazing.

Service was good for the most part and the food was ok. The main reason for the low rating is because as we were eating a mouse runs out from the kitchen and we brought it to the attention of the staff who took about 10 minutes to catch the mouse. Now no one from the staff apologized for the rodent issue so I'm assuming that this is a common occurrence. None of the staff seemed bothered by the situation to let their manager know and no one offered us a discount due to that scene that just transpired in front of us. So my sister and her family who live here in Philly as well as my wife and I will not be eating here again.

The food and…read moreoverall experience left such a strong impression that I decided to surprise my girlfriend with dinner here for Valentine's Day. Unfortunately, she didn't get the full experience I was hoping for. They offered a different menu for the holiday, and while the food was good, it just wasn't great like I remembered. Overall Ratings Atmosphere - 4/5 Service - 4/5 Food - 4/5 Parking - Street Parking Atmosphere - I've always loved the atmosphere here, from the romantic lighting to the beautiful bar area and, of course, the giant fish tanks. However, on Valentine's Day, the couples' tables in the center of the room were placed extremely close together. It felt like we were all part of the same conversation, even though everyone was practically whispering. Service - Our waiter was professional overall, friendly, and offered good recommendations. However, he forgot to mention that the water we ordered was $6 per bottle, which we assumed was complimentary. I'm not entirely sure if the pricing was listed anywhere, but it definitely caught us off guard when the bill came. What We Ordered - - Stuffed baby octopus salad (Way overpriced for two tiny stuffed octopus served with a small side salad) - Moussaka (Thankfully, one of their original menu items was available. This was very good and lived up to expectations) - Chilean Sea Bass (The flavor was good, but was a bit underwhelming. The dish felt like a missed opportunity and could have been much more satisfying) Final Thoughts - Would I come back for special occasions or holidays? Probably not, since I'd worry about a limited or altered menu that might not live up to past experiences. Would I return on a regular day? Absolutely. I know what they're capable of, and at their best, they truly deliver a great meal. I also want to mention that the restaurant was very thoughtful. They prepared a personalized menu with our names printed on it and gave my girlfriend a rose, which she absolutely loved. That extra touch definitely made the evening feel special.

It's a fast casual type place, and they also have Mexican food (which is pretty meh, but this review isn't about that). Everything I've ever had from here has been top notch, and I sure have had quite the variety! My typical go-to order is the pork belly in a pita with fries, but I've also had other variations. And I've also had the platters as well. I've loved all of them but the pork belly is definitely my favorite! The sauces are delicious, but my 2 faves are the spicy tzatziki and fresko sauce. Will usually get one of those 2 on my dishes. The dolmades are very yummy as well (usually get them as a side on my platter or will do a stand-alone order if I get a pita). I am OBSESSED with the spanakopita, I cannot get an order from here without that. I love dipping it in whatever sauce I have as well. I frequently do the dip trio for some variety also. Both the desserts (loukoumades and baklava) are delicious - they're not overly sweet which is perfect for me because I'm not into super sweet desserts. What I love most about this spot is that it feels indulgent but still fresh and on the healthier side, so you don't feel like you got hit by a truck as if you just stuffed your face with a massive burger or something. Def will continue getting food from here as long as they are in existence lol

Everything is prepared fresh to order and it's hard to go wrong here. I'm docking one star because I've had a few experiences here where the Iced Tea/Lemonade tasted off and I suspect it's because they didn't clean those machines well. Which is a shame because the restaurant is generally pretty dang clean too so it seems like a miss than an intentional behavior to not keep things clean. So if you're in the area, I highly recommend Yiro Yiro! Now the part of the review no one ever comes for: - Water: While there is a water tap to get water, you are in Philly, the water isn't the greatest - Restrooms: There is a single occupancy restroom - Accessibility: The entire restaurant is wheelchair accessible - Seating: There is some seating in the front but there's also a 'secret' dining room in the rear. Likewise about secrets, there is a parking lot for the shopping center in the rear as well. - Will it fill you up? I think in most cases, yes. If you're particularly hungry you may want to get a side, but it's certainly not a complete skimp out.
