The fries were nicely crunchy however, providing a crisp that the tenders didn't. The buttermilk ranch sauce was a bit bland, didn't really do much for the meal. The service was fairly quick as well, staff was friendly and helpful in choosing the right option.

This last trip we climbed the stairs and sat at more conventional tables and chairs that also had umbrellas and seemed less favoured by families with small children. Service is casual but quick, we were welcomed and sent upstairs with menus to find our own table. The greeter/server had a tray full of drinks but stopped to mid-service for us. She followed shortly afterwards and took our drink orders and after returning with our beverages she took our meal orders. Both my Whistle Dog and my spouse's Burger were well prepared and we found the large fries we ordered were more than we needed. I was surprised and delighted by the smoke grill flavour of my Whistle Dog. There are condiments on the table including both Malt and White Vinegars. Yes, the potatoes for the fries were fresh cut. We'll continue to frequent the Bru Garden when visiting Stratford. It's set back a bit from the bustle of Ontario St and Downie St but is steps away from the Avon Theatre.

The food was being made in a permanently placed food truck. It appeared the garden was built around the food truck. The staff were friendly and helpful. It is also a child friendly atmosphere. We would definitely stop in for another drink and try something off of the food menu.

Not a lot of depth in flavor. I got REALLY excited when I saw Mac n Cheese as an option for a side, but was incredibly disappointed in it. It was watery and SO bland. Kraft Dinner was gourmet in comparison. It might have been the worst mac I've ever tasted, not even black pepper or ketchup could save it for me. My boyfriend got a similar meal but with coleslaw and cornbread on the side as well. Coleslaw he said was so-so, and I tasted the cornbread which was good but 99% sure it's store bought. Overall, probably wouldn't return unless it's to buy just meat.

Oh I have to say the menu does have other things on it like hamburgers and I think chicken fingers and such but most people just went for the meats of the day. That I could see So I got the turkey you can get small medium or large they suggest small for seniors so I picked a medium which was a lot of food and I'm a big eater.
