As many of you probably know by now, mac and cheese is my all time favourite. I saw that they had it as a side dish for $2 so had to try it. I wasn't really feeling a sandwich (though the pulled pork looked really good), so I opted for the pulled pork nachos. They nachos were $8 and a pop was $1. When I ordered, the guy who took my order said "why don't we make it a combo" and only charged me $10. I love when places do that! Anyway, the nachos were perfectly cheesy, and were topped with sour cream and pico de gallo (one of my fave things in the world). It was fresh and home made. The absolute best was the pulled pork. It was so deliciously juicy and was coated with a tangy BBQ sauce - not too saucy though! I would get this again for sure. The mac and cheese was just as good. They use the spiral noodles which are always fun. It's not too too cheesy, but has some good herbs and spices that make up for it. It has a bit of a kick too. Just a slight bit of heat. I would have liked a bit more, but I'm not going to lie, with the mac and cheese and nachos I was stuffed and had to bring some more. And yes, it was just as good heated up later. I've been in Hamilton for work this past week too and have walked by Jackson Square everyday hoping the food truck would be there. Unfortunately I've been disappointed b/c it hasn't been there, but they do have a "where are we" map on their website.

Get some really authentic street food is what I would say this place. It can be hit or miss but I know spots that have really done a great job offering really good fare. Sin Fronteras offers Spanish filled meat pies. I also got a nice beef patty and Coco bun from next door. Some amazing tacos or some Trinidadian food is also my favorite, drop by if you're in the area I think this place is really underrated. Outside is a food truck where you can get decent Italian sausage and fries for $6.

It was enticing as it was located in the CT plaza on Innisifil Beach. I had to give it a try as I was beyond my surroundings and I'm a total fan of poutine. It was pretty reasonable for the large portion. I just wished the fries were the thick cuts. The gravy and the cheese curds were really good, I did bring it back to my friends place and the fries kind of soaked up. Next time I'll make sure to dine in at their tables and experience it first hand. Unfortunately did not capture the food as I was way too hungry. Will try out their other toppings in the poutine category when I'm in the area.

Whenever I visit St Jacobs, this food stall is a must stop shop for me and my hubby. Being vegetarian I love the food options available and how she customizes them for me! So whether its Tamales ( my favourite: spicy black bean and corn) or soups, or tacos - it becomes hard to chose just one of them lol. I generally grab daily spl to eat there and take out frozen tamales, which becomes my lunch speak during busy office hours! My husband can't get over the chicken tamales.
