The store is reasonably well organized - of course, people end up trashing things here and there after checking instead of putting it back to its original place which created a bit of chaos. The parking outside is good but if not available one can always park on the plaza opposite side of the road.

Check the box and you will notice that everything is replicated to match the original with the exception that the 'FINISHING TOUCH' BRANDING IS NOTICEABLY MISSING on the ones being sold here, that is why it is $5.99. (They falsely advertise it like the real thing, listing its regular / retail cost as $29.99) I unfortunately and wrongfully assumed that they would be selling legitimate brands / items and just purchased a couple of items from them but upon close examination of the Flawless hair remover and comparing it to the real one after I came home, I realized I had been bamboozled and I now question and have to double check everything else I purchased from them. Not that I can return anything because of their "all sales are final" policy. I took the time to write this to caution the public so others are aware as I would have liked to be prior to visiting this place. As I mentioned, this was the first item I checked; I am still yet to closely examine / verify the other "branded" items I purchased from them.

I have a soft spot for flea markets. I grew up going to the Pickering and Stouffville (rest in…read morepeace) flea markets on Saturdays and Sundays with my parents. I loved them. We were also there for the food, from fresh produce and kolbassa, to hamburgers and patties. I recently visited Leguan. To my delight, I realized doing a bit of research before heading over that it was located in the food court at Mississauga Flea Market. I felt like I had hit the flea market jackpot. This flea market faces Mavis Road. I was heading southbound along the street and had no problem pulling into the parking lot. I was lucky to have found a parking spot that you immediately encounter when you turn into the lot. I backed into the spot. Again, it was a jackpot sort of day. I walked in through the main entrance. You can also enter on the right side of the building, but I wanted to give the main doors a try. You have two sets of doors to go through. There's Pet Pets, a pet store that's open every day of the week. I like that if you need to get food or supplies for your family pet, it's open every day. There is a U-Haul stall when you get through the second set of doors. It was my first time seeing a moving rental stall at a flea market. It was oddly closed when I was there on a Saturday afternoon. The food court is on the left when you enter the main doors. You basically hug the left side as you walk. There are tables and seats to take a load off and eat. Leguan is there, along with other food stalls to choose from. I briefly walked around after I had dropped by Leguan. I saw a stall that sold hookahs. Cool! You can find everything from a haircutting place to a florist and plant stall. I enjoyed the variety of merchandise you could find. There are washrooms and an ATM between the food court and the U-Haul stand. I ended up making a purchase at an electronics and cell phone accessories stall, which was a couple of stalls to the right of U-Haul. I have no idea what the business was called. I did have a nice man try and find a USB-C adapter with a USB-C and audio port. He had one for lightning, but not for my needs. Oh, well. I did manage to get a cell phone case for my Google Pixel 6a. Normally, most businesses don't have any and you have to find them online. This place had many to choose from. I got a rose gold one, complete with a magnet and kickstand. I had my Leguan food on the counter as he was helping me out. He got hungry. I apologized for making him hungry, as the food smelled so good. This particular stall accepted cash and e-transfer only. I did the latter, which was seamless. Many do cash only, such as Leguan. It makes sense why there's an ATM nearby. I'd recommend bringing cash just in case the stall that you're at doesn't accept e-transfer or other payment methods. I had a nice time here. I will return to spend more time and money shopping. Thank goodness this flea market is only open on weekends. It's roughly a fifteen-minute drive from my workplace, which could have been evil if it were open on weekdays and I was regularly in the office. (16)

But during the harsh winter…read moreseason, it had moved inside to The Great Hall on Queen St West. $5 admission can make or break the deal, at least for me. Decent to wander around, Most of the stalls are selling antique and reused items. If you are looking for used loathing's, furniture, keepsakes maybe this is for you. I was a little disappointed because there were only a handful of vendors and I was expecting a lot more! There were a few food vendors including Manual Labour Coffee for some pour over coffee, FeasT.O for dumplings and Ramen.. I might wait till the weather is nice and warm again visiting the outdoor market instead.

If you enjoy outdoor festivals and looking at unique things, take a gander at the flea market once a month. For a $2 admission, the parking lot is filled with stalls of different vintage and antique dealers, among them some artists. Some things seemed very over priced, but others quite reasonable. A lot of the things I over heard was, "omg I used to have that!" Or "My mom has something like that", while they kept walking. Although a lot of people keep walking just looking at the novelties, if you're looking for something specific like a decorative piece, an old toy reminding you of your childhood, or some vintage clothes or cooking equipment, you'll find it here. Best part (and the only reason I think my husband in enjoys this with me) is the beer and munchies they sell. There's a beer stall, tacos, homemade popsicles and a coffee trailer. Definitely worth checking out if you're in the area!

Dr. Flea's Market Review…read more Dr. Flea's Market is a vibrant hub with a wide variety of stalls offering everything from clothing, hardware, and supplements to IPTV and international beauty products. I truly enjoyed exploring the cultural mix--especially the food! I treated myself to an incredible spread: refreshing jackfruit, soursop, and sugarcane juices; flavourful Trini dishes like baked chicken and rice, pholourie, fish balls, dahlpuri, oxtail and rice; and ended with fresh young coconut water straight from the shell--complete with jelly--and a sweet Guyanese pine tart. Yum! I'll definitely be back. I even saw someone buying 20 young coconuts pre-cut and ready to go for a home party--what a great idea!

Truth be told, I'm not a huge flea market connnaiseur, but this one is pretty cool. It has a nice variety of items, from fashion, to accessories, jewellery, fragmences, food, toys, tools, small home appliences, electronics, phone stuff, car stuff, psychics and more. It's a great place to practice your haggling skills. I think the best part was that Dr Flea himself, the myth the man the legend, was there giving away prizes to customers. He periodically speaks over the speakers announcing what's happening and holds little games like: "the first two people to find me and show a hair pin will win a prize". Now people, this is a flea market. It's cheap stuff for cheap. Don't come here expecting a high end shipping experience. It's crowded, messy, and confusingly organized. But chances are there's more than a few things in there you need and it won't cost you too much to take home.
