Just had Afternoon tea here with my wife for Mothers Day. This was my 2nd time, first time here. First the price, excellent for the money. The quality and amount was above average. The selection of tea and food was substantial. I was completely full and some guest needed togo bags which tells you it was quite a bit. We enjoyed a window seat and the service was perfect. We will come back, thank you for the nice experience.

I WITNESSED THE MOST DOWN-BAD DIABOLICAL BACK-ARCHING GUT-WRENCHING AND TOE-CURLING SIGHT HERE. So,…read morewe were peacefully eating our froyo, which was AMAZING! BUT, then a family walked in, with an appearing to be 9 year old boy and an appearing to be 5 year old girl. We continued eating our froyo (again, amazing). Then, out of the corner of my eye, I see the boy stick his finger up where the froyo comes out. I was like, um ew. Then, (this was the down-bad diabolical back-arching, gut-wrenching, and toe-curling part.) HE STUCK HIS FINGER INTO HIS MOUTH AND STUCK IT BACK UP THERE . Then, the little girl did the same exact thing, then did it to the little topping things you spin. The parents were watching the whole fricking time, and didn't give a crap. Like, that's what fricken fracken sample cups are for! We immediately left, assuming the employees don't know that happens and they don't think they need to clean those parts, and said we'd never go again. PS: the vibe was cute and the employees were sweet.

Owner says I can have a $15 gift certificate for a $50 gift cert because they are new owners. Is it expired or just lost value? I have no idea, I run a business and it's always better to just make the customer happy. Sorry I missed the expiration date on a day when you weren't open. Are business owners morons when they make this stupid decision? Easy answer YES. I was gonna donate the entire product anyway. Don't visit this place, new owners are bad decision makers. Now I get to tell everyone of my experience and hope to get the doors shuttered on this poorly run, overpriced. Good luck purple posers.....

However, if you need to eat gluten-free due to a medical condition like Celiac disease, please be very, very cautious. Although this establishment claims to offer gluten-free options, there seems to be a concerning lack of understanding of what "gluten-free" actually requires. I asked detailed questions before ordering and was assured that my selection was safe. After the food arrived--and after I had already started eating--I was then informed that while the crepe itself was gluten-free, the filling was not. That kind of distinction should be clearly communicated upfront, especially when a customer specifically asks about gluten-free options. Unfortunately, the same situation happened with my daughter, who also has celiac. To make matters worse, we were charged for both the incorrect meals and the replacements. In hindsight, I should have asked for a manager, but we were there to visit with a friend and I didn't want to make a scene. Our total for three people ended up being over $80 with the tip I still left. I understand that eating out always carries risk when you have dietary restrictions, and I ALWAYS try to approach it with patience and kindness. We were traveling, so we didn't have much choice. But if a restaurant says they offer gluten-free items, there needs to be a basic understanding (by the wait staff AND the kitchen cooks) of ingredients and clear communication. What should have been a fun outing turned into a weekend of being very sick. Just something to be aware of if you have to eat gluten-free for health reasons - this is probably not the spot for you.
