I got Casio MT-G Atomic Time Module #2638 at Walmart. I took back to get battery replaced. They unscrewed the back and springs went all over and the back gasket was. I sent what I left to Time Machine. They received on 9/4/2007. They sent postcard to me on 9/6/2007 with price of $37.01 including shipping. I called and gave my CC # and said they would shipped 9/14/2007 which was wrong they shipped 9/11/2007!!! They didn't charged my card till they shipped it on 9/11/2007. On a reccomendation from Casio we used the Time Machine to repair a Lens error message at the time machine withinn the one year warranty of purchasing the camera. Four months after the repair was taken care of we are receiving the same error message and Time Machine will not stand by there workmanship and repair it because it occurred 1 month after their 90 day warranty. Based on this expereince I would not recommend them as a repair site nor would I recommend purchasing a casio camera. I have had several cameras in my lifetime and this Casio is the only one I have ever had a problem with. read more

I would give this store a very poor rating due to lack of skills and custormer services. I brought my Fossil watch for repair and they kept it over two months. During that time I did not have any contact from them. When I finally stopped by they told me they were trying to get the part. Then I got a call telling me they could not fix it. When I got the watch the back part was dented and scratched. The attitude of the manager was condesending. When I asked for the name of the owner he hegged with me in a hostile way and would only give me the first name (Jerry). I asked for him to write it on a card and he refused saying they did not have a pen. This is not a customer friendly organization and they appear not to have the skills to repair watches. This is unfortunately the casio autorized repair place. I called casio and was told that it would be a 10 day turn around. It's been over 10 weeks and I still don't have my camera. It also cost more than the price of a new camera for the repair. Last time I called (and I've called numerous times) they said they could send it back, but that the part just came in and it would take a few more days. We'll see...Meanwhile I've been taking crappy pictures with my phone and uploading them one at a time. Had I known, I would have bought a new one right away and saved a lot of headache. The Time Machine is not too good about solving problems. When I found out the camera repair would cost more than replacing it through the "camera upgrade program" I decided to just replace the camera and submitted my paperwork. I didn't hear anything back from The Time Machine so I followed up and they said that model was no longer available. They never told me that, no effort made in that regard. So now I'm on the phone with Casio America fighting the typical uphill battle with both Casio and The Time Machine referring me to the other agency. Not good coverage here, there's a lot of ambiguity as to which agency I should be talking too. It's too difficult and shouldn't be like this. After talking with Casio twice, where I gave the model number and what I thought to be the serial number of my watch, they said I'd have to sent it in for repair. The Time Machine got right on with my request, and determined my watch could not be repaired because parts were no longer being produced. My beef is with Casio for putting me through all of this, including the cost of postage, when they could have told me up front that it could not be repaired. Changed battery on watch even though I said I might buy a new one if we could not get it to work! They did not rip me off!

One star is being nice! I sent my camera in to fix the LCD and I expected it to be fixed and returned to me in a few weeks. However, not only did they take a month to fix it, but it was returned without my memory card, battery or carrying case. When I called them to ask about it they told me that I did not send any of that in. After weeks of getting the run around they told me they would send me new ones. Haha! Two weeks after that I recieved a broken battery, and a memory card that was 3 times smaller than my original one. After reading the review of the person with the broken battery, I laughed because the battery they sent me had the problem that she described. This place has the worst work ethics and most horrible customer service ever! read more

The lens my Casio camera stopped working just 3 months after I bought it (while on vacation none the less). I made some calls as soon as I got back into town and had my camera shipped off to The Time Machine by the end of the week. I called after about a week, just to check the status of my camera and they couldn't find it!! The guy told me they would call me back when he got it figured out, he never called so I called back the next day, I guess they figured out where it was at, but they didn't know what the problem was or how long it would be yet, I was told to call back in 2 days. When I called back in 2 days, they told me it would be about a week and they would mail it back to me. About 3 days later I received a post card from them with the cost to fix my camera (it was still under warranty though). I called them right away to find out what had happened. They couldn't find a copy of my receipt, so I had to fax it over to them, I called to make sure they received the fax, but of course they did not, so I faxed it again, and again, finally they let me talk to a manager and for some reason when I faxed it to his attention, they received the fax and said I would not be charged for the work. After another 2 weeks I called back to again figure it out, and again they couldn't find my camera!! This time I told them I would hold, I didn't want a call back, finally she figured out that the reason she couldn't find my camera was because they mailed it back to me the day before. So after a month of my camera being gone I was so excited to open my package (I felt like a kid on Christmas morning). I put my battery and memory card back in right away. But it was NOT fixed, actually it was WORSE then it was before, the lens would still not come out, but now it was making a really loud winding and clicking noise! I called them back right away, the guy told me to mail it back down to them and write "CB" on my invoice and it would get pushed to the top of the list when it came in and they would reimburse me my shipping costs for this one. Again, after a week I was calling to find out about my camera, they told me they were waiting a new lens from Casio now and it would be a few days before that came in, so to call back at the beginning of the following week. Every time I called they told me the same thing, they were just waiting on the lens and to call back in a couple days. Finally, after another couple of weeks, they got the lens and said they would have it mailed back to me by the end of the week. When my package came that time, I was less then excited, but it actually worked, there was no check for my reimbursement, but I wasn't going to complain, at least my camera worked! But again my excitement was short lived, my camera now works, but all the pictures are a little blurred, but I didn't see the point in complaining again, it obviously does no good. So, I have owned my camera for a whole 6 months now, went 3 months with it in the shop, but out over $50 in shipping costs and my camera still doesn't work right. DO NOT SHIP YOUR BELONGINGS TO THIS SHOP!!! read more

Once I sent it in I called three days later and found out that not only was it diagnosed but was going to get back to me in less than a week. I sent my camera as directed by casio the only thing is that I forgot to send my information. 2 days after I sent my camera I called the time machine on hopes that they had recieved my camera, I was so frustuated that I sent my camera whith no information I misdial the number twice. I finally got the number right and a rep from the company asked for my name then I explained the situation, the gentleman was so nice and understanding that he heard all my story then he asked if I had the serial number from my camera.I gave him the number and he found the camera with that I later email my information and receipt and got my camera back 1 week after. read more

I want to say that the time Machine have been such great help to me, because I sent my Casio G-Shock in for repair. I didnt know what was wrong with it so I sent it in and to my surprise I get a response three days later saying my watch is fixed and its ready to be shipped out, I was very glad and greatful that my watch was fixed and I didnt have to buy a new one. I happened to be in Los Angeles on vacation going on a cruise to Mexico. My camera fell of my car and didn't work any more. I went in the internet and found time machine. I didn't call. I just stopped by. The staff was very professional. They didn't promise they were going to fix my camera before two days that I had but told me they'll do what they could. They fixed my camera, the fee was reasonable, they were friendly and they fixed my problem. What else did I want? I asked them to change the batteries in my watches and to set the date and time in my camera. NO COMPLAIN FROM ME. Sometimes you just have to take care of your stuff on time specially if you are going on a trip otherwise people may not be able to drop what they have compromise to just to take care of something the last minute. Ah, something else if you don't want to deal with someone "with a thick accent" perhaps you should look for a repair place in kansas not L.A. I called Casio and was recommended to The Time Machine. The Time Machine touted the parts replaced by them are Casio parts so I sent my watch to have the band, hands, glass and bezel replaced. I called them again to follow up, was advised it is an $80 charge, paid it. I got it back with just the hands and band replaced. Called them again, was advised that now the glass can't be switched with a Casio glass and that the bezel cannot be replaced at all. They agreed to refund $15 + the shipping fee ($5). I shipped the watch back to them and again no call. They shipped it back with a new glass but there were pieces of lint or dirt or I don't know what inside of the watch and i noticed on a night run that one of my "Casio" hands did not glow in the dark. At this point they stopped calling back. I had to get Casio involved. Casio called them and I was all of a sudden given better customer service. I was advised the hands will be replaced and that the $5 shipping would be refunded, again. I shipped the watch a 3rd time and today (a month and a half after I originally sent it) I get a call from TTM saying that the hands ARE Casio and that is the way they are received from Casio...This can't be, I bought the watch with 2 hands that glow from Casio. They are clearly not the same set of hands. I still have not received my refund or my watch. I immediately called MASTERCARD to dispute the charges and sent emails to CASIO's board of directors. It may be David vs Goliath but they should not rip any body else off. CASIO SHOULD KNOW! I sent in my camera to be fixed in mid-September. I didn't hear anything back for a little less than a month so I called to see what was going on. They had no record of ever receiving my camera! However, when I called Fed-Ex they sent me a receipt of delivery -- signed for by an employee of the Time Machine!!!!! They lost that camera and it took at least one month to resolve the issue. During that time, nobody returned my calls, even after I was assured that I would get a courtesy call that day. They acted rude to me as if I was the one that had misplaced the camera. I was told misleading information on several occasions: first they told me that I would get a replacement. When I called back a week later to check on the status of that, they told me that I couldn't get a replacement without sending them a copy of the receipt -- again! They didn't bother calling me to tell me that!! After I sent it to them, a few more days went by and still no word. When I called them again, they told me that they'd already found it and it was already in the mail! Somebody called me three days later (the first time anyone from that company actually picked up a telephone and dialed my number) asking for payment, although the camera was under warranty. They said they hadn't mailed it yet. When I tried to call them back with a credit card number, they told me that I didn't need to pay anything. It was a very frusterating experience!!!! When I finally did get my camera back, it was the same color and model of mine except that it was full of photos of somebody else's dog!! Obviously, it was NOT my camera, but I kept it. Do you think I want to go through all of that again?? No way. I will never send anything to these people to be repaired and would only reccomend this establishment to my enemies. read more
