My technician was attentive and lessened to what I wanted. My eyebrows are still growing in but at least they have been tamed for the moment. I'm super picky about my eyebrows only because they were a total disaster so picking a place to save them was crucial for building my self-esteem in this "eyebrow-on-fleek" world. The spa itself is the actual headquarters of The Threading Spa across the nation, so you know the service and quality you're getting is the real deal. The lady who's done my brows now twice always asks about the curvature I'm looking for, how thin I want to go - basically what I want and oh boy, she delivers. It's fast (5-10mins) and she makes you feel comfortable by getting to know you and sharing her own stories of Nepal. After she's done she applies some aloe Vera gel to soothe the skin. During my second visit and working hard on growing my eyebrow hairs back, I can proudly wear them with no eyebrow makeup, au naturale~ My boyfriend also came along with me and got his done here too and I never thought he would. It definitely looks clean! This is now my primary place to get them done. The only thing is that there's no designated parking but you can park right in the front or around the corner. Been going to the Washington St., Braintree location and Tripti the one who did my eyebrows. Haven't been in a year and was growing my brows out. Tripti is the real deal. She knows how to do eyebrows. I had my eyebrows botched from a previous location and had to grow them out. I told her about that and she listened to what I wanted. I like my eyebrows to be thick and she shaped them perfectly. She even asked if I liked the shape and if I wanted a bigger arch or not. She doesn't overdo it between the brows and knows where the eyebrows should meet. I will most definitely be going back to her especially since I am still growing my brows and wanted to be groomed as well. I found my new go-to place for eyebrow threading! I wanted to keep my brows thick but cleaned up and she did just that. Her name started with a "T" (I forgot, unfortunately) and she was very kind-hearted and the conversation flowed easily.... The process was a bit more painful that I anticipated, but she talked with me the whole time and helped distract from it. I will definitely go back. Service is always fast and friendly. There is almost never a wait. I wouldn't say it is painless although it's different for everyone. I try to make a trip here once every 6 weeks and tweeze in between. I love how my brows look when they were first cleaned up :) The price has gone up to 15$ from 12$ in 2019. read more

I am literally living on an island after being a city girl for most of my life. While I am totally okay going about my business in Muck boots rather than my favorite pair of Marc Jacobs knee-high, heeled boots, I can't abide by unruly eyebrows and even a hint of upper lip hair. If you do, totally cool - I won't judge, but I like to be a little more "cleaned" up. It just makes me feel good. The downside to being particular with regard to grooming habits is that I can't do my brows to save my life and I have no patience for plucking minuscule hairs.
