In this photo you see me coming in after two weeks (my scheduled refill time) and going to work happy and ready for the weeks to come ! I've been getting my lashes done for 10 years. There's not an artist I haven't seen. To be honest I was an artist for a year and that's how i know how good this work is. I've paid 400$ for lashes that weren't close to this good and I've paid 25$ for lashes and you get what you pay for. I know all the ins and outs of lashing. Your artist may be a kind girl. But .. your lashes are more important. I was so happy and excited to do lashes when I learned years ago. And they always looked great but it's not easy to make them look great and stay looking great AND stay healthy. If you see anyone lesser than a professional you are asking for infections and pain. You CANNOT risk your health for a price. And honestly in the world of lashes the lash bar is the best quality vs price I've ever seen. I decided I was in the lash game for the long haul, so my natural lashes had to be in it for the long haul too. Well luckily Ashley Marzelek has kept my lashes long, thick, healthy, pain free and SAFE. Flawless of course . The only problem is it takes one month to get adjusted to the weight and feel of the lashes. After that you don't realize they're not yours! I could not suggest Ashley more I honestly would be dumb to leave. I tried to leave for a cheaper price once (aka a nail salon ) the money I saved was not worth the pain and aggravation I had to remove them it was horrible! I am a permanent client of Ashley's and I'll stand firm here! Until recently my lashes have been just falling off after a few days! I pay so much every two weeks to have them filled and then to be told I have to pay $75 in between to have them fixed! That is NOT a company that cares about their clients and the quality of their work! It doesn't matter if the " lashes are too heavy" the lash tech should determine that and know not to put on if my natural lashes can't hold it! I don't know if the glue and lashes have changed to cheapen the cost but something has! They don't just start to fall out , out of the blue after a few days! I am shocked that money is more Important to the owner than retaining her long time loyal customer! I will find a place to spend my $ that actually cares!!! To tell a customer " you can come in and pay $75 to have them fixed is absurd! My Response: I already told you I was going elsewhere Lauren. You know how much $ I've spent in past 2 years at your business. I'm really surprised at how it was handled. If my husband does a job and the door knob falls off he doesn't " charge " an absurd fee to fix it" he wants his clients to be happy. Shay didn't recommend a lighter lash until it happened more than once. That policy is nowhere on your site , and it's not like the tech doesn't get a tip etc, I've offered to pay she said " no worries" . But to want to charge $85 in between 2 week lash appointments for lashes that just start falling out is just ridiculous! Had a nice visit, but it felt rushed. I came in to get my engagement nails done, and while she did…read morea great job cleaning up my nail beds, the Gel-X extensions weren't what I expected. Instead of using Apres Gel-X, she used regular soft tips with a glue from a tube that became squishy and gel-like. A lot of the glue seeped out from under the extensions, which was a bit bothersome. Some of the tips also don't fully cover my nails, causing my hair to get caught under the corners. My first time getting this service was with Honey and she was fantastic, so I was really hoping for the same quality while on vacation, especially for the price. Unfortunately, it didn't quite meet those expectations. I wish more care had been taken to size the nails properly and use the standard Apres Gel-X method.
