The "Ted Lasso" pub in Richmond didn't disappoint. Not only was it fun to dine in this tv location,…read morebut the food was delicious as well. The building is really cool too, lots of paned windows, black shutters and a white facade with beautifully manicured plants and flowers out front. There are lots of spots for photo ops, and Richmond is a great neighborhood not from London, I recommend going to the shops and seeing the park, and the views of the Thames. We ordered burgers and chips ! And the guys had Guinness! The burgers were juicy and tasty! The chips were hot and crispy on the outside and fluffy on the inside. We were served quickly since it wasn't too busy, and our server was super nice! Loved coming here, and when we are in England next time, we'd definitely return!

We had to visit the Princes Head as my wife is a huge Ted Lasso fan and this was a new area to…read moreexplore. It was easy to get to as it was just a couple of tube lines and a 40 minute ride. Richmond, the city Princes Head is in, is a charming smaller area and was not too busy. We found Princes Head easily as there is plenty of information on how to get there. When we arrived, there were plenty of people in the establishment but was a short wait to order and get our drinks. A charming place with seating indoors and outdoors with the Ted Lasso soccer field just a few steps away and his apartment just a few steps more! I had a Guinness and my wife ice had a Gin and Tonic - both were good but we did not get any food. If you're a Tedd Lasso fan, there is also a merchandise store just down the street. The people there were a mix of locals and tourists and we chatted with many - all had interesting stories to tell! The help was fantastic-the served my Guinness the proper way just as they would in Ireland. Fantastic stop!

One of my favorite pub experiences while visiting London…read more The man at the door helped us find a table in a very crowded first floor room. We learned early on in London that pubs have dining rooms upstairs which usually require a reservation and then the bottom floor is for drinks and meals picked up from the bar. This visit was about stopping in for a pint and grabbing a bite to eat. After acquainting ourselves with the bar menu we ordered food at the bar and were served fairly quickly. All three of us enjoyed our meals but what was memorable for me was I had the best fish and chips here. The versions I had afterwards were not as tasty. The first floor was hoping and lively and loud so if you're looking for quiet this isn't it. Was great for people watching and hearing other people's conversations. And man, those fish and chips were good. Wish I could have gone back for seconds.

Was really excited to visit White Cross, and maybe that's why I left wanting more. Place was very…read morecute and inviting, but often times I felt very cramped even when the place wasn't busy. They were accommodating to a couple changes, we just wanted to try as much as possible. Burger was very flat in flavor and the bun wasn't great at all. The fish and chips were great though, was not disappointed with that at all. Seems like more of a place to time up high tide and have a couple pints vs having a nice meal.

The Vault is on my walk home from work and so we meet there for dinner at least one night a week…read more The food is great - we always order their garlic mozzarella bread with carmelized onions, lightly baked. It is just delicious. Also, I order salad with marinated grilled chicken. My husband usually gets whatever the special is that night - they have great specials! He enjoys the vast selection of beer and always finds one he likes - he is very picky. I'm known to be particular myself but enjoy their house Chardonnay. We walked by the Vault so many times before we tried it - mostly my fault because I didn't relish the idea of walking down steps past a smoker with an ashtray into some gloomy dank restaurant. My husband convinced me to try it and I found it bright, cozy, and with wonderful varied/Mediterranean high quality food...now oftentimes when we try another restaurant in Richmond I find myself wishing we had just gone to the Vault but we already in just five weeks of living in Richmond have frequented the Vault so much that the staff know us by sight. This is their quiet time right now so easy always to find a table. They said their busy season is October through March so we look forward to experiencing that with them. Update: I saw another review saying they don't have customer wifi and wanted to confirm that they DO have customer wifi at least as of today.

Popped in for a quick drink. Place was quiet. Lots of options for beers and ciders, really cool and…read moreinviting interior. Great service and lovely smells came from kicthen so want to go by again for some food. Tried the umbrella ginger beer which was unique and delicious! Will be back
