Okay, we are locals and have driven by a thousand times and decided to give it a try. The food was very good. Now keep in mind this is not a super healthy menu however, the drunkin fries and the verde pork burrito were fantastic. The drinks came fast and were a strong pour - definitely getting your moneys worth! Atmosphere was a fun crowd but, can be a be rowdy. Bartender and servers were great as well. They also have an app that gets you free stuff. Overall, not a bad little place to stop for a beer. read more

Is it the Tav or the Tay? Just a little confusing. Stopped in for a cocktail with a few friends the service was slow. But in fairness the bartender seemed to be working the kitchen, waiting tables and the bar. For a place the just reopened and renamed it seemed unfinished. It's a good local bar. It's a dark bar with a pool table and some dart boards. The prices on their drinks is good and the food is alright. I will say I was a bit turned off by one of the bar tenders putting ball gags and shoving dildos in peoples faces. While it seemed to be all in good fun and I'm defiantly not a prude I just didn't find it appropriate. With that being said I have been back and have enjoyed my time there. i will never, i repeat, never come here again!!! customer service was horrible, from the looks of it, only towards me. all other patrons were checked on. i had to wait over 30 minutes just to get my check and didn't get a refill on water until i was done eating, and it was not extremely busy. there were two waitresses as well. website is apparently not up to date, as it advertises $6 dozen wings, dine in only during happy hour, but you get there it's full price and they will not honor advertised price. overall, wings were just ok. read more

Another pleasant surprise and not just cause we like the owners. The beer is really cold and if it gets too noisy one can trek over by the pool table for a little less loud music or patrons, after all it is a bar though. The onion rings which come as a "mound" are batter dipped and are fresh out the fryer, mmmhh, makes my mouth water as I type this. The wings were tasty and the fries were fresh, just enough salt especially for a fry hog like myself. We met a very nice family there after we moved from one side of the bar to the other to play pool. We also had our ten year old Son with us, the bar wasn't just for adults. We found the atmosphere to be conducive for families as well. The bathrooms were clean and well maintained, even the waitress looked like one of our good friends! Definitely felt at home. The prices? OMG dirt cheap. No complaints or suggestions here, definitely we will be back. read more

Great little bar near the office. Great service all the time, fun girls that work there and the owner is nice and involved in the business. Drinks are nicely priced. Here is the kicker. The food is awesome. Do yourself a favor and order the rib appetizer. It will blow your mind now everyone around me eats them. My boyfriend and I came in yesterday for the first time to check this place out. The ambiance and atmosphere of this place was magical. Such good vibes! The service was outstanding! Hannah was our bartender. (The one with the mermaid hair) She was such a sweet heart and really seemed to know her way around a bar! She whipped me up the best sangria from scratch! Decent little dive bar; larger than expected inside. It's got it's own private parking lot with plenty of parking. My large drinking/running group essentially took over this place last night; we had 50-60 people. The bar only staffed 2 waitresses even though we gave them a heads-up of our arrival prior to the event (not a good plan on their part). The drinks came slow and the waitresses seemed grumpy (could be because they were overwhelmed with the number of people they had to serve, I don't know). I don't think I saw either one of them smile once...I would think they would have been happy with all the extra tips on a Monday night. Regardless, the drinks were affordable and although I didn't order any food myself, several friends said the bar food they had was good. I'd certainly give this place another chance to increase their rating to see if the customer service improves on a regular night. read more

Was there last night for the first time. The bar tender ( Rachel ) saw us the second we walked in. She was at our table right away with menus and a smile. Was in the area today and stopped in for the first time for lunch. Had friends who use to go here when it was Flight Line and they liked the "dive bar" atmosphere so thought I would give it a try. They were right about the atmosphere as it hasn't changed with the new name. When you first walk in it takes awhile for your eyes to adjust as the place is really dark. Good sign it was a dive bar when its that dark in the bar. Loved it. Found my way to the bar and was promptly served by the bartender. Nice young lady made me a drink right away and asked if I wanted a menu. Yup and she mentioned they had hamburgers on for $7.99. OK. Looked at the menu and they had a nice spread of items to chose from all day breakfast, various tacos, wings, burgers and sandwiches even pork ribs. The special on hamburgers stuck in my head so I had one with cheese. Simple cheese burger with coleslaw on the side. Food came out relatively quick and I ordered another drink to go with it. Having looked at other reviews on Yelp before most all agreed the food was good (reason I stopped). Well maybe I should have tried something else on the menu. The burger was a good size and done medium just the way I ordered it, but noticed a grease circle on the top of the bun when it first came out. Odd I thought, but didn't give it a second thought until my first bite. Burger was extremely greasy. So greasy it was soaked through into the bun and made the bun completely saturated in grease. Tried the coleslaw to cut the grease which helped, but the slaw was pretty much tasteless. Poured salt and pepper on the slaw a couple of times just to give it some sort of taste. Overall this was a poor meal! So why the 3 star rating? Its reportedly a dive bar and it met all the key factors: dark, cool atmosphere, good drinks, affordable drinks, pool table, darts, good music and friendly people. Liked this place and will be back only I am not going to order the burgers. With all the other reviews liking the food I will have to try something else. Maybe burgers aren't their forte. read more

We ordered crispy hot wings with a side of hot sauce. Wings came burnt, and sauce was orange, but tasted like plain oil? We asked for another order, not to be burnt, and got exactly the same thing. Bartender/waitress, argued they had a very good chef and we got what we asked for. Paid our tab, including the wings we didn't eat, and we were told, "I will call the cops if you don't leave!' The "Tav" was better when it was the Flight Line, at least you expected it to be a "Dump!" Bad service worse food. read more

Love the sandwiches my wife and I had here Monday. I've had their sliders before as well and they are yummy. Usually the staff is friendly and helpful. This night the running group I belong to was there (We gave them notice that a lot that a lot of people would show up this night). They had an extra person, but it was a challenge for them. Even when some of the group left without paying their tabs (Our groups leader paid it later that night) they still made my wife and I feel special. We will be back again. read more

Came into the TAV, as i was referred to come in and just check it out. I wasn't very impressed at all. Took the waitress forever to even notice me, seem like she was very irritated or mad not to sure. She never smiled that is for sure. I will never come here again the service was HORRIBLE as well as the dirty tables. Not very good service, food was ah, not 5 stars for sure. Never again, don't waste your money. Owner looked not happy at all either. Poor service Beware. read more
