My half-eaten Tasty Bowl - I almost forgot to get a picture before it was all gobbled up! (10/11/2020)
    Gwen W.

Tried the Fingers Bowl - Mac and cheese with Tasty fresh fried chicken fingers chopped and tossed on top. Man, Tasty's fingers are steaming hot and juicy outta the fryer - yummmm! A decent amount of chicken, however I'll possibly get an extra finger or two next time, just to get a bit more protein to match the pasta carbs. I chose their homemade Tasty sauce for the dish, which was a great melding of flavors. The bowl of mac and cheese is pretty big, I had plenty of leftovers for 2 meals. Service was with a smile, and food was served hot, which is always a great indicator in my book. Don't sleep on The Tasty Truck! While their menu is rather simple, their offerings are quality fresh and downright delicious! PS: this is the penultimate food truck for kids who love chicken fingers and/or excellent mac n cheese!!

The Tasty Good is just that, it is tasty, it is good, it is tasty good!!! This is now a go to, seek out food truck for me. I truly do not want to know the caloric count of any of their menu items. Instead I just want to order up whatever I'm craving, and then just sit back and enjoy. This food truck is owned by a husband / wife duo. The wife happened to be the one taking my order. She was cheerful and happy to help. I asked her what she suggested I get for my first time having The Tasty Good. She immediately came back with the ranch fries. This particular meals consists of chopped chicken fingers on a bed of ranch seasoned fries topped with house made ranch and green onion. The aromas coming out of my to go container as I carried it away were mouth watering. When I sat down and opened it up I was pleasantly surprised to see that my meal was not drowning in ranch dressing. It was perfectly drizzled with their homemade ranch seasoning. The first bit delivered me to heaven. I am now a big believer in The Tasty Good food truck and the extremely talented husband / wife duo. Please do yourself a favor and seek out The Tasty Good. Get the ranch fries. Enjoy the delicious, perfectly cooked french fries. The homemade ranch seasoning. The crispy chicken tenders. Each ingredient compliments the other. You will find your happy place!

I had to spend most of my day at the Osu medical center with my mom and seen this food truck outside when I walked in. Many hours later we had time to waste cause the appointments all ran pretty fast and when I seen the line to Thai food truck was wrapped around the truck. So around 2:00 I thought I needed some food and went up to the truck. Seen their menu and was like the selections sounded really good. So I ordered a ranch Fries and a chicken salad. I thought this was going to be ok. It turned out to be the best food truck food I've EVER had!! The Ranch Fries was so good I needed a second order! The chicken salad was worth more than the price they charged!! I will be looking for this truck again!! I highly recommend this food truck!!!

The best food truck in town. We found it at a market and get it whenever we see it now. The chicken is so crispy. My fav is the finger bowl which is mac n cheese, chicken and your choice of sauce (I do buffalo) and it's only $9.

Wow wow wow. What else is there to say about The Tasty Good other than it lives up to its name. I've had this truck twice now. After my first experience I waited with baited breath for the next time it would come to my office. The Tasty Good is plain and simple good food. This is a truck with chicken fingers, fries, and mac and cheese. So if you want good old comfort food, you're bellying to the right truck. In my two visits I've always gotten the same thing - the finger bowl. It's a massive portion of macaroni and cheese topped with scallions, chopped chicken fingers, and whatever sauce you want. I always go with the spicy ranch for a little kick. You can tell all of their food is made super fresh. The chicken fingers are crispy and juicy. The macaroni and cheese is creamy with a little kick. And the scallions add just enough brightness to cut through all of it. There is no doubt that I will be back to The Tasty Good many more times!

OMG. This truck is incredible. Tried them at German Village Makers Market and I'm so happy I did. I almost skipped for more exotic trucks BUT DO NOT. Everything was heavenly, the husband and wife team are so kind and I cannot wait to try again. The chicken was crispy and juicy and tender. The ranch was homemade and so yummy.

Randomly craved a food truck + I looked up what was close to my house in Blacklick l. The Tasty Good popped up first on SFF. Literally so good. Everything had flavor. It was hot all the way home 8-9 mins. My chicken fingers lasted until I got hungry again 6 hours later! So delicious and i will definitely be on the lookout for them from here on out!

I went back again and guess what...just as good as the first time. I had no intention of eating the whole thing...but I did. I felt pretty good and happy also. This crew definitely has it going on and I will be in the lookout. Until we meet again...

Jamal style (scoop of Mac n cheese) hot fries!

Great for finding some food before attending a show at one of the nearby theaters. The menu is what I would best describe as comfort, food. Burgers, pot roast, chicken, pastas, and other selections, which are filling and delicious. A menu is available for review online. Parking is available on street and in a variety of garages and flat lots located throughout the area.

Arrived approximately 3:30pm - restaurant basically empty (maybe 5 tables total occupied). Went to check in for 2 and the host said he had reservations at 5. Huh? So I asked do you mean you can't seat us until 5? And he said no, that we need to leave by then because other people are coming. I thought that was very weird and unprofessional. I've never had an experience like that before. It's a basic sit down place, why would you think we'd linger for more than an hour and a half? Whatever, weird feeling, but we were seated. Seated in the walkway. Not like in a path but literally blocking the walkway where you step down. Why do I say this? Because people walking by kept banging into me. Not their fault. Why is there a table there? And why were we seated there when at least 80% of the restaurant was empty???? Ok whatever. Ordered food including their signature made in-house tots. Waitress comes back and says they were slammed in the morning and they're out of tots. (Man I feel bad for the people coming at 5. LOL) whatever except the people at the next table appeared to be served tots. Food was tasteless. The Mac and cheese had a weird texture like the roux wasn't cooked properly. My patty melt was mostly bread as the patty was too small for the bread. My husband had the signature chimi burger and it completely lacked any chimichurri flavor. Like at all. We were out by 4ish (plenty of time for them to prepare for their expected onslaught) and needless to say I've unbookmarked this place from my yelp. Maybe we'll try the Mexican place across the street next time. ‍

The atmosphere was modern with a southern twist. I'm not going to lie, I chuckled a bit when I noticed my water glass said "Bless Your Heart". In Appalachian culture, this is actually an insult. We had a large group, but the service was excellent. Very friendly, attentive, and everything was brought out timely and correctly. My food was really good! It was brunch time so I had coffee, the "Mimosa of the Moment" which was an apple cinnamon, a biscuit with blueberry preserves, and the Southern Shakshouka. All were fantastic and I would definitely get again. I also thought the price was affordable for the quantity.

My server was great. The place is really lovely and I like there is now a parking garage just steps away. I started with a specialty sip cocktail - an Orange Cinnamon Bun Old Fashioned, and ordered 3 apps since they were half-priced for happy hour. The Biscuits for a Cause (2 with butter, jam and honey), Fried Pickles (chips with ranch), and Famous Fried Green Tomatoes (I don't normally like goat cheese, but these are served with stone-ground goat cheese grits) were all fabulous and I had plenty to take home after trying all. I had a glass of red blend wine with my entree, which was the Pan-Seared Salmon. My two chosen sides were the mashed potatoes and fried okra. The salmon was perfectly cooked; it was a great dish. I also got the Rosemary & Parmesan Breakfast Potatoes to go to have with my breakfast this morning. The service, food and atmosphere were all very enjoyable. The manager also helped out bringing food, and checking on me. I would return for another meal.
