We had a pizza craving so headed here to take care of that. We started with a beer (of course) at a place where they make their own beer. I chose the Juicy Booty, looking for a nice smooth IPA. It was delicious and I loved the logoed glass that went with it. For pizza, we chose and make your own with pepperoni and black olives. The crust was good. It was the thickness of a hand tossed. Lots of toppings. We were wondering if the 12in would be big enough and it was perfect. No leftovers and left the table not feeling too stuffed. Service was great. Great stop.

Light flight. Fav was the passion fruit gose.

Tap room for St John Brewers, conveniently located at Mongoose Junction. What we loved: * great cross section of St John Brewers beers. 5 oz samples available! * tasty hummus platter. * cheesy 80's nostalgia TV channel playing at the bar * brewery stickers from around the globe pasted throughout the bar.

First, I love St. John Brewers' Summer Ale. And I REALLY love pizza. So this was a must stop for us. I'm a pizza nerd. It's my favorite meal/food group/etc. I typically make some variation of pizza several times per week at home. I'm constantly trying new dough recipes. So with that said, we actually ate here twice during our 8 night stay on the island, once in the restaurant and once for takeout. It definitely hits the spot! This is basically an elevated bar pie, and that is NOT a criticism. It's definitely the best pizza on the island and actually the best pizza I've had anywhere in the Caribbean. They use top quality ingredients and have some great combinations. And honestly it's the most reasonably priced food on this entire island. I've definitely had terrible pizza that cost way more than this on the mainland. If I had to think of a criticism, it would be with the spinach and artichoke pie. As you can see in the picture, it had tons of artichokes! Not nearly enough spinach however. The That's My Jam was exceptional, as was the pepperoni. My 11 year old son likes pineapple on pizza unfortunately, but he says that it was fantastic.

Nice tap room with great beers and seltzers on the island. I got the chickpea sandwich, which came out as a patty, and had great flavor. They also make their own hot sauces that were perfect to complement the food.

Service was great, we were seated quickly and our waitress was very helpful. We had Caribbean Beef Nachos and Pizza which were both amazing. The price of the food was excellent considering that it was able to satisfy my family of 5 with 2 teenagers who always come ready to put the food away and the cost was under $100. Now we didn't have drinks which would have bumped the price so keep that in mind. The atmosphere was exactly what you would expect for a place called "The Tap Room" so it's is all in the name. I will say that you should grab some of the root beers on your way out as they are really tasty.

Good beer, great appetizers, best vibes. We came here for some snacks after exploring the national park. The beer was tasty but the nachos and samosas really hit the spot. Our waitress was friendly, and the playlist was exceptional. Would recommend!

The spinach and artichoke pizza was good.

First off, Molly was excellent. Super super friendly, helpful and on her game. Great service. The place is very nice. The AC felt great on a hot day. We were all famished and ready to eat. We got the pizza, wings and steak and cheese wrap. Everything was excellent. We tried two flights of beers and ciders. Nothing really stood out, but all were decent. Again, I can't say enough about Molly and her service. You should clone her;-) Nicely done.

We stopped in and got a couple of drinks. They have a good selection of drinks and the service was good.

September 6, 2024 and 4 of us went for dinner. Huge selection of beers, many brewed on site. Decent selection of wines and NA beverages as well. Great selection of pizzas including build your own. Too bad a few items were left off of ours. The burgers were good. The lamb sliders were fabulous!

Loved it here. Super cute and there were a lot of menu options. We ordered the nachos to go with our beers, and they were great! The bbq drizzle on top was a game changer. I ordered the flight of beers. My favorite is definitely the Juicy Booty IPA. I love that they have flights as an option. Especially in a new area on vacation with all new beers, it can be tricky to choose just one and be sure you'd like it. This was a great alternative!

I wanted to like this place but just didn't. They have a very small outdoor seating area, but we got there early for dinner and only had a 10 minute wait. The view from their outdoor area is of the parking lot. The server recommended lemonade that they make in-house so I got some. It was carbonated and not very sweet but somehow lacking in true lemon flavor. I mentioned that I didn't like it and she took it off the bill. I ordered the BBQ pork nachos. The sauce had a good flavor but was so spicy hot that it literally burned my lower lip. I had ordered a bunch of extra veggies on top but they were diced tiny and the excessive sauce covered everything and made all of the chips super soggy. The cheeseburger enjoyed by my dinner partner was ok. This might be a good place to grab a beer (maybe a burger?) in town, but I would stick to that.

Awesome lamb sliders on the appetizer menu! I had them as a main and order fries. I could not make up my mind on a drink so I got a flight. The tequila lime soda was the absolute best! Second best was the toasted coconut brown ale but really nothing was bad.

The Taproom is a gem--don't miss it! It's near the east end of Mongoose Junction. We sat on the small balcony and enjoyed a couple local IPA's (Juicy Booty Hazy/Sky Flower), and shared the Warm Bavarian Pretzel (1/3/24). The pretzel was a generous size, and just perfect with the ice cold IPA's. Service was friendly and relaxed, and no one made us feel guilty about taking a table at the dinner hour, just to have a couple beers. If you go to St. John, don't miss the local beers! They are wonderful! We like hoppy, flavorful beers, but not TOO hoppy, and these fit the bill perfectly. You can get STJ Brewers products across the island, but it's nice to drink them from the source! Head to The Taproom!

I have no trouble coming back, especially if you're sick for a while of going to a fancier restaurant, but I have to tell you it was a little pricey for what you got even though it wasn't as expensive. given places in the past, from other restaurants, it was a nice way of saving a few dollars, you will still save a bit compared to the more expensive restaurant, but not so much.

Definitely not a "bargain" as some other places on the island are for lunch, but chances are, if you're staying at the resort, you don't really care too much about a bargain. The staff is friendly, and they make a point (if you're a guest) to refer to you by your name, which is comforting (how did that gal know my name - I had just checked in?). The bartender we had was friendly and attentive and didn't mind so much the request for something that wasn't on the menu (but then again, how hard is Myers's and Pineapple?). The CBB&G also has beach service. Unfortunately, that is where they lose me. The two drinks we ordered from the gal on the beach were hot and they took FOR EVER to get. Food was adequate. I didn't feel too ripped off (after all, this IS a resort), except when I ordered sushi. I think I'm just spoiled by the riches of my favorite Birmingham sushi join (see: http://www.yelp.com/biz/jinsei-sushi-birmingham#hrid:vG7n6leCFicaYWNOqrlE8A). There are other options on the menu, and I mostly opted for the salads, which were creative, when dining there. Overall, a good option if you're a guest of the resort, and just want to throw on your cover up and flops and have a quick bite and a drink. Would I stop there if I were on a sailboat just to go to a beach bar and for the scenery? NO. There are way too many other options around the island.
