Amazing food and service! The chicken quesadilla with shredded chicken was out of this world! Loved the vibe at this place as well! Highly recommend this place to others!

The staff were so pleasant and attentive! Huge thanks to Dee, Wakilay, and EZ for being so helpful and kind!! They have some nice artwork throughout. It would be nice if the happy hour went until 6 instead of 5:30. I sat at the bar. EZ did a great job making sure the bar area was kept clean, organized, and neat. There are seven seats for the bar and there is a tv. There is some indoor seating and outdoor seating as well. From where I was sitting at the bar I could see into the kitchen. The tortilla chips are left exposed to open air in a large bin. I think it would be helpful to have a cover over the bin so the chips are more protected and to delay them from going stale. It would be nice if the happy hour included some tacos as options. I got the sidewinder fires. There were a lot of fries! They were okay but they did not come with the Mexican blue cheese, as the menu stated is included. I was not informed ahead of time that there wouldn't be blue cheese. I mainly ordered them because I wanted to try them with the blue cheese. When I asked for the blue cheese they stated that it doesn't come with it but they can get me some. When they came back they stated that the restaurant doesn't have any Mexican blue cheese. I ordered the battered shrimp burrito bowl. It was alright. I think I would have preferred the grilled option more. The rice could be flavored more. Basically tasted like box rice. Jalapeños would be a nice addition to the bowl. The tortilla shell was pretty good. I added their branded hot sauce to the bowl, which helped improve the overall flavor of the dish. For drinks, I got a pomegranate margarita and a hibiscus margarita. Both were good choices and had nice presentations. You pay a $1 more for a flavor. I paid an up charge for the Tequila Ocho Reposado of a $1. However, I thought that the margaritas would have been the HH price outside of the flavor and premium upgrades and they were not. I would have appreciated price transparency when ordering. It would be nice if the aguas frescas had tamarind as an option. For dessert, I got churros which come with a chocolate mole and caramel dipping sauce. The churros are soft, kind of squishy, and much bigger than I expected. They were coated in a lot of cinnamon sugar. The dipping sauces both go really well with the churros. I ordered the churros before the happy hour ended but was still charged full-price. So again, not sure what happened here but price transparency would have been appreciated. Based on the lack of price transparency, I most likely won't return but I think it's a good place to try out if you're in the area.

Oh...what a gem of a place! I happened to be in the neighborhood and...being a lover of desserts,…read moredecided to pop-in. This is a very small place with no seating; it appears it is solely intended for folks to pop-in and purchase desserts to enjoy at home, or bring to a party/for a host/hostess gift. Also, the offerings here (from my quick perusal) appeared to be more along the lines of 'cakes' or multi-serving items, vs individual treats. That said, they did have individual ramekins of Pot de Creme. Their ramekins are ceramic, and so a small 'deposit' of ...I think it was $2?...is added onto the cost, the idea being that you can return the ramekin to them and get the deposit back. I really appreciated this touch, as it not only makes the Pot de Creme more elegant, but it means they are not using wasteful plastic in which to offer their Pot de Creme. Needless to say, their Pot de Creme was sublime! It was very interesting, and heart-warming, to read the history of this place (and that of Seth's father) from newspaper clippings on the wall. From my very brief time in the shop, I immediately 'loved' Seth, who was there at the time. You can tell he is a genuinely warm person...the real deal. There was a woman also working there at the time, and she too had a wonderful way about herself. Folks who live in this area are truly blessed, to have such a wonderful bakery there!

I stopped by to pick up some flavors I knew she would appreciate and had a cooler ready with ice packs, to transport them to her in LI. The video mentioned that they have pre-packed pints but suggested having them hand pack the ice cream at time of purchase for the freshest batch. I ordered quite a few flavors, including rum raisin/grapenut, Jamaican rum cake, and stout. We also had some cups for the ride. My kiddo had cookies & cream, hubby and I shared what was supposed to be eggnog/rum raisin but was only rum raisin. The lady helping us mistakenly gave me separate rum raisin and egg nog cups. I was able to try all of them. The consistency is creamy and the flavors are great. They also make smoothies, sundaes, waffles/ice cream, ice cream cakes, and regular cakes. They have traditional flavors and the more traditionally Caribbean flavors. They can get pretty busy. We lucked out when we got there but because we had a large order, they got a little backed up. There are plenty of hands to help take orders and they're pretty efficient. There's a slight but reasonable upcharge for using credit over cash, so keep that in mind, but they do take NFCs which is convenient. I will definitely be back, make no mistake about that. I'm dying to try their pralines & cream, one of my fave flavours.
